My daughter has been going to Dance for Kids for ballet+tap the last year and a half and she absolutely loves it. We tried one other studio before in Culver City, and the teachers — nice people — were just unable to keep her attention, particularly during the tap portion of the class. Not the case at Dance for Kids — great, patient instructors, and great results. Can’t wait for the June recital!

My review is for a 3 ½ year old and the class was amazing! I really appreciated how the instructor was warm and great with little kids. I liked this class much better than MNR for several reasons… the instructors are more interactive and fun instead of strict. I don’t see the need to be so restrictive with 3 and 4 year olds and the place is much better managed and taken care of. I definitely prefer this dance studio if you live near Brentwood! They have valet parking that is validated which is great because parking is difficult in Brentwood. If you are looking for a place for ballet and tap, I highly recommend this place!

I’ve had two daughters attend Brentwood Dance Academy/​Dance For Kids over the last 15 years. Karen Chase offers a variety of levels and dance styles from beginning to advanced and competitive. The teachers are all highly trained and most are current dancers as well. There are many opportunities for students to perform and join competition teams. I’ve watched most students grow up at this studio and would recommend it highly. Come try a class or two. Colleen, the receptionist is very sweet, organized and helpful and can answer any questions. Hope this is helpful.

Both my young daughters have been taking dance classes here for over 3 years. The teachers are wonderful and what they teach is a great combination of dance technique and fun. They have a great make-​up policy and have many classes to choose from. Definitely a great place for all ages and for both boys and girls!
