DASH

Dash is a super cute boutique! The décor and merchandise is very chic and visually appealing. While I expected there to be more in the store, the selection of items was great with competitive pricing (stop complaining about how much everything costs here – if you want a $ 20 T-​shirt, go to h&m).
The complaints about the girls working are unfortunately pretty accurate. One girl was super nice to me, and then I asked to try something on and she got weird and kind of started to look down on me. It was like a «oh, you want to try THAT on?» sort of tone, which I accredited to my size (I’m a size 10 which is basically plus size in these sorts of shops). Granted, the dress was way too tight and this girl probably has to deal with a bunch of obnoxious tourists all day, but I totally would have forked over the money if it fit. It left me feeling a little self conscious, and while I really wanted to like the store, I b-​lined for the door after I put the dress back.
Despite my experience, I’d come back. The items they stock are on point and I would definitely purchase something if it fit me.

Loved it. Cute boutique, not overly expensive. My salesgirl Nathalie was very helpful, and very friendly. Couldn’t wait to come to Dash to shop on my trip. I’m obsessed with the show and the girls. Loved it

I’m from Louisiana and went to the Dash store for the first time with my mom. My mom and I were excited (she is an avid Kardashian fan). After driving in traffic for an hour, we were VERY disappointed with the store. For starters, the two workers that were there didn’t greet us or ask if we needed help with anything as we looked around. We did not even get a smile. There was a minimal selection of clothes, and a plaint-​shirt with the «Dash» logo was 60 $. When we were leaving, there was no «thank you for stopping by». Maybe we are used to Southern hospitality, but those two employees have given these two visitors a horrible first impression (and I am sure we are not the only two who were treated this way). Thanks for ruining our expectations and our first and last trip to the Dash store.

I’ve seen many bad reviews here about Dash, so I didn’t expect too much when it comes to my first experience there. The clothes were expensive but affordable, I bought some souvenirs, and I was the only one customer so I pretty enjoyed.
Employees were very nice and friendly to me, but I highly suggest change the background music please! It was feel like back to the 90’s and all Britney Spears and N’SYNC stuff lol.

I thought that there would be a wider variety of options here, given the fashion sense of the owners and the popularity of the store. The clothing is nice but it is overpriced. The service is good but there’s space to add much more here. A+ for décor.

i was passing by and i love melrose avenue. The clothes are old style and cuts are not the best and up to date I feel is few years old style. materials for the price is over priced I get it is melrose but I expected more edgy and modernish. not for me I pass. NO disrespect is more like swapmeet style of clothes and I just dont get the hype. I could sit down and give you easier cuts. I couldn“t find one outfit that was complete either was 1980s or just 10 years ago or the color or pattern was making you like an elephant fat. honey not every one is a designer or honestly kardashians should be stickig to their other businessess. everything was wrong and skirts were over priced and make you fat and ugly. please dont give me a ugly peice of chain for 100 and up price. are you guys living in stupid land to shop here. so many great creative stores in melrose not here. i would add dash of genius and will run out of here as fast as i can and i will also add a dash of personality and even dash of talent to this store cause this place has no dash of talent or originality here and honstly i am not the person to be fooled with media to even buy cause celebrities design so what

I don’t understand all the bad reviews. My friend and I had a great experience at DASH.
Sure there are some very expensive things here but the jewelry is very reasonably priced and good quality.
The staff was extremely nice and gracious. We ended up talking for a long time and we got a free gift with purchase.
I’ll definitely be back!

Ugly clothes & severely overpriced. Oh and none of the «dash dolls» work in the Los Angeles location.

Went here once and was very excited to see it and maybe buy something but once I got there we had to spend about 15 minutes looking for parking because there really isn’t any, but I didn’t let that ruin my excitement so once we went in the store I expected the service to be good and maybe some music playing to add to the over all feeling of the place but there’s was only one lady working and she wasn’t very friendly and it was very quiet and I felt like we were being judged/​watched a lot and everything in there is way to over priced, I don’t see what all the hypes about it was very underwhelming, don’t waste your time or money going here.

Had to stop here and grab a few things. Will be coming back to shop whenever I’m in LA. Wish they had more items, I would buy a lot more! But overall obsessed.

Another over hyped situation :(the girl working there looked like she just woke up, the store is alright. Save yourself the drive.

I’ve read other reviews about this store and when I went in I was prepared to be ignored. I was surprised the girls were nice and asked a couple times if I needed any help. The store is really nice and clean. I am a Kardashian fan and wanted to see what all the fuss is about DASH. The girls were helpful enough and the clothes are trendy. I didn’t see any security guard. The clothes are a bit pricey. I ended up buying some undergarments and left. I had a decent experience at DASH and I plan on coming back!

They barely sell anything. But, if you are a Kardashian fan, this is a must stop. They all things Kardashian, books, shirts, etc. The staff was actually really nice and friendly so I am giving them three stars for that. If you are looking for a Kardashian tourist trap, you will be happy but as an actual stand alone store… there isn’t much here. I’m not sure what they sold before they were famous…

This was a bizarre little shop that my girlfriend wanted to stop at because she likes the Kardashians. The store had like five things: a small selection of clothes, a book about models, and some candles. My girlfriend bought a keychain for $ 12. The only thing I liked about the store was their unique light fixtures (not for sale).

Not sure what the appropriate rating would be for this place. But I am glad the service was very cordial and pleasant! They close early, about 7 pm. We were there late and glad they didn’t kick us out since it was pass 7.
They didn’t have a lot of Dash brands as far as clothes, only shirts, hats, pens and pencils, mirrors and blankets. The other clothes were not marked as Dash so I wasn’t sure who made it. Ofcourse the prices were $ 60
and up and not sure if that’s a reasonable price. Usually if it’s a short sleeve shirt it would be a different price from a long sleeve shirt. Also noticed they didn’t have a price on most of the items they were selling, you had to ask the ladies that worked there. They didn’t have a lot of choices as far as the sizes available. I didn’t want to assume this is only for petite size girls…

It’s a place any true Kardashian fan have to go to when visiting LA! I gotta admit I was a little dishearten that I didn’t see any one of them but hey the shop was full of tourist and I gotta admit the prices are expensive! I wouldn’t normally have purchased items that price does not match quality but I had to buy gifts so be prepare a hand mirror $ 20 each and T-​shirts $ 80+ each jewellery starting from a very thin chain $ 140 upwards! And after purchasing three t-​shirts, and four mirrors, everything was squashed into a small paper dash bag!
The staff can be at bit pretentious, I didn’t get a hello when I walked through the door and waited 5 minutes by the till with my items for someone to acknowledge my presence.
It disappoints me that I may never come back to this store or any of their other stores due to the impression I’ve received from this one! Being a big fan of the show I have to give the overall service a thumbs down!

The notorious Kardashian D A S H boutique featured countlessly on the Kardashian show, I have to say I was treated pleasantly well during my shopping experience here. Since we were in the area, we ventured our Melrose scene to the D A S H boutique after spending some time at Helmut Lang Boutique. Upon entrance was I greeted instantly and was not ignored by the three girls working that day.
The D A S H boutique carries nothing but upscale brands such as Wildfox Couture, ACACIA swimwear, One Teaspoon, For Love and Lemons, Finders Keepers The Label, etc. I was eyeing a beautiful mini black flared Finders Keepers The Label dress and one of the girls grabbed my size & saved it behind one of the dressing rooms. She checked on me and made sure my dress was a true fit. After trying it on and falling in love instantly with this piece my made a $ 200 purchase on my new pretty dress and we walked out happily.
Here is my honest sense on why some people felt that the staff members were haughty & rude — it’s the D A S H boutique, and an acclaimed tourist attraction, and not everyone walks in the store as a serious buyer. I do not disagree that staff members of any retail should treat their potential clients disrespectfully, but for a tourist attraction boutique like this, it doesn’t truly surprise me that they won’t spend serious attention for non serious buyers.
With that said, I liked what the D A S H boutique carried with their up to date merchandise on the latest haute fashion lines, and very happy with my Finders Keepers The Label dress x

I was having a great day then this. I walked in the store having a «I feel pretty day» (best time to shop) & wanting to buy. I went totally ignored for 10 minutes! Nada, not even a «hello dog!» The sales lady even went as far to salute & say hi to the women who walked in AFTER ME as I approached the exit. I definitely got treated as if I were INVISIBLE. Next time maybe I should place my credit card & cash on the counter first then look around, maybe then I’ll be worthy of a «hello».
I DASHed my Black self outta there!
