Been getting my hair cut here for ages! The women that work here are really sweet and attentive. Although I always come in with a style in mind, my hair always get cut a little too short. My last experience was actually great here! Got my hair dyed for the first time and it was just absolutely wonderful and reasonably priced. Will definitely come back.

I have been a client of this salon for many years ONLY person I’ve allowed to touch my hair is Luciano. I couldn’t allow anyone else he is the only one who knew what I wanted. His energy is amazing. Unlike the other employees they seem not happy to be there. Well, I gone crazy looking for Luciano. I was able to FINALLY find him after been denied by these other people where he moved to. If I knew someone as great as Luciano was liked this much I would probably do the same. Anyways GO to him he’s amazing you’ll love his work, energy, politeness. Here is his new location

I have gone to this salon for the past 3 years best experience ever with Luciano, he is the best soo nice and courteous and the best shampoo ever the message omg you practicall fall asleep! Well today to my dismay i went to look for him and he was not there!!! I ask the ladies there and they said he no longer works there. Thank God my friend had his cell phone number and he is working at another salon, if you are looking for him he is at 2230 S Figueroa st 90 007!!!

I absolutely love getting my hair done here BUT only by Luciano! He is simply amazing. He has such a great vibe and is amazing at coloring hair. I have always walked out very happy and feeling great after a visit with Luciano. Every time I want to switch up my look he knows exactly how to tone the hair colors I like to my skin color. Even if its for a blow dry for an event or another haircut I am always happy with the results. My husband also comes here regularly to cut his hair and so does my 3 year old son. They also like it here & prices are also great. I previously use to do my hair in Beverly Hills and after spending hundreds of dollars on OK haircuts I am glad I finally found Luciano! I definitely recommend him when visiting Dejavu Hair Studio!

Great deal, Luciano is very nice and my hair came out great. I had to wait a little while but this is no doubt the best place to go for a haircut around USC.
EDIT: Changed my review from 4 to 3 stars due to my most recent haircut. I couldn’t get a good date with Luciano and settled for someone else, who promptly chopped my sideburns off and gave me a very uneven back. Not going back here if it’s not with Luciano.

This is the first time in 3 years I got a good hair cut. I have had to use the trimmer because of the mess the other places have done to my hair in the past. This guy is brilliant and he uses the siccors with great expertise. And very very reasonably price. Actually its pretty cheap for how good he is.

This place is alright. $ 10 haircuts for students (not necessarily USC) Monday through Thursday with student ID. When I go, it’s usually after work and before they’re closing and that’s a little before 7 PM. They’re alright. They do as I ask and that’s about all there is to it. They take credit card.

I have been to this location for a haircut twice. The first time was actually a very good experience. I went in for a haircut and was attended to by Luciano. He was very attentive and friendly. For $ 18 (w/​o tip) I got my hair washed, a nice scalp massage, and my hair cut which was particularly good, in my opinion. I haven’t found a salon that can cut my hair as I like it, but Luciano was able to get it right.
I went back this week for another haircut, unfortunately Luciano was not working that day. I decided I needed a haircut badly enough that I would have whomever was there cut it. BAD IDEA. The man who cut my hair (older man with long white hair) seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing at ALL. I asked for my bangs to be cut straight across and he cut them incredibly choppy and I ended up having crooked bangs. When I brought the crooked bangs to his attention he blamed it on my hair (wth?) and proceeded to «trim my ends» as I had asked him. This man gave me a dry hair cut (I’ve never had anyone cut my hair without spritzing it with water first) and supposedly trimmed my ends, NOT. I don’t know what he was doing but he sure didn’t trim my ends. I was so furious, and not being a confrontational person I decided to keep my mouth shut in fear that if I spoke out I might end up with a worse haircut and not leave a tip. I was charged $ 18 for an awful «haircut» and I didn’t even get my hair washed/​scalp massage! The two stars is for Luciano who I will be coming back to and ONLY him, as no other person in this salon knows how to cut hair.

Horrible experience — I had booked an appointment for 2 of us (my mom and I) to get our hair done for a wedding. I called the morning of the appointment to confirm and was told if we could come in a little bit earlier. I explained that we couldn’t but thought it was odd that they asked. When we got there, it turned out they did not have our appointments written down. What’s worse, they had booked a whole slew of other people. We were made to wait and no one told us this fact — we had to figure it out ourselves. We ended up walking out and having to find an emergency hair solution. I think they are a small shop that doesn’t take appointments seriously. It’s a shame they missed out on over $ 100 and got this review. They seemed nice, just no idea how to run a business.

They used to be great I stopped going to Flor for a while and when I came back to them I had a horrid experience. I wanted to get my highlights redone but I was told that I needed to grow it out more. She said she would do a color refresh and I agreed. When she was done my hair looked exactly the same! She didn’t even style my hair just kind of blow dried and said I was done. I paid for the service but I didn’t tip, And when I called Flor to ask for a redo she said I should come next month! I have been going to this hair salon for a while now. The staff is very friendly they have offered breakfast which makes u feel right at home and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The prices are pretty decent, too. I have gotten hair extensions (from real hair), hair cuts, hair dyes, and brow waxing. This will continue to be my favorite hair salon!
