I saw Dr. Kerendian for a check up and physical today and I had a really wonderful experience. I am normally one of those patients that only goes to a doctor when I am really sick and can’t take it anymore. The office is gorgeous and the staff was super friendly and very caring. I knew that Dr. Kerendian had my best interest at heart. As he was evaluating me, he noticed I had a lot of tension, especially in my back. As a dentist I am constantly crouched over and putting lots of pressure there. He suggested trigger point injecting with OMT and I couldn’t believe the difference afterwards. I already have booked my next appointment to relieve more of my back issues.

I tried the Lipotropic injections for 3 months, and while I did loose a few pounds, I ended up spending over $ 1,000 on shots, the supplements that they push, and a «fake» $ 200 co-​payment they made me pay for hormone testing. When my insurance paid for the hormone testing and showed my portion of the bill as $ 66, I called the office and was told to fax them my lab bill and that they would pay it. I asked about the remaining $ 134 I had paid and was told it would be applied to my other lab tests. There was no co-​payment for my other lab tests so obviously what they meant was they were keeping it for themselves. I faxed them the bill but continued getting notices from the lab company and a collection notice so I paid it. I then requested a full $ 200 refund of my copayment from the doctor, in writing. His office called and left me a message that the lab company made an error and would be refunding my $ 66. I called Delight back and left a message but never heard another word from them, nor did I receive the supposed $ 66 refund from the Lab. They still have my $ 200. I have one word for this business… SHADY.

Nice and friendly staff. I got the lipotropic/​b12 injections and nothing changed. I bought a month supply and signed a form stating I wanted to basically «self inject» so I could do it myself at home. I did like that b/​c I save me a trip in LA traffic.

I have been going to Dr K for 2 years and have lost and maintained 50 lbs. Like other Unilocalers said, he takes you seriously when you tell him your symptoms. Before going to him I was rapidly gaining weight that I could not lose even if i only ate 500 calories a day, feeling lethargic, couldn’t work out more than 5 minutes before I was exhausted, dry skin, foggy brain and all of the other symptoms of a thyroid problem. For years other doctors would do just a basic test and tell me I was fine. They told me i was just getting old. What??? In my 40’s and I’m old??? If this is what it feels like to be getting older just shoot me now!!! Fast forward a few years and now in my 50^th year of life, I feel like I’m 25 again. Eating normally and healthily, working out like a fiend and enjoying it, full of energy and looking so much younger than my age and at the lowest weight I have been in 20 years. I remember the day Dr. K told me I had hit the 50 lb mark. I was so proud of myself. That was more than I thought possible at my age, but Dr. K just very quietly said. Only 15 more to go. Really? Are you serious? He just smiled at me in silence. Ok Dr. K, I haven’t been that small since I was 21, but I believe that with your help I can do it. New goal is to be the same weight at 51 that I was at 21. Let’s do it!!! I will be back to Unilocal my progress.

Absolutely go here! You will get the help you need to get your desired results. Ultimately it’s up to you and how serious and passionate your are about getting healthy or getting body you want.
I hit my target goal in about 4 weeks and now am going for the stretch goal. Dr. Kerendian is very intelligent and is great at listening and explaining what needs to be done. His staff is courteous and both Yvette and Alexis have been the best. And this review is coming from the Duke of Equinox. #liveHealthy. Make Muscle burn fat. Eat right and keep from storing fat! And the Doctor can even help diagnose conditions that may be prohibiting you from getting to where you want to be.

I cannot give enough praise to Dr. Kerendian! He took my symptoms seriously when no one else would and, as a result, he quite literally saved my life and got me back into a state of health, happiness, and balance.
I first came to Delight Medical back in 2011 as a last attempt at finding out what was wrong with me. I’d been gaining weight rapidly for months (I’m 5’6″ and went from 125 — 155lbs in 3 months), feeling super lethargic and depressed, my hands were always cold, my face was swollen and I had huge bags under my eyes, yet the numerous other doctors I went to said I was fine or put me on a diet. Nothing worked and I continued to feel worse and worse. My blood work from Kaiser indicated that I was borderline hypothyroid, but since I was an otherwise healthy 23 year old, they said that the results were insignificant and sent me away.
Finally, after months of searching, I met Dr. Kerendian and thank god I did! He took the time to get to know me, listened to me carefully, and took my symptoms seriously. He ran his own blood tests and discovered, just as Kaiser had, that my TSH was a little high and my T4/​T3 were a little low. Given how symptomatic I was, Dr. K thought my lab results justified starting on thyroid hormone replacement therapy and prescribed me NatureThroid (a bioidentical hormone that is way better than the synthetic stuff, Synthroid, you get from most doctors). I noticed a dramatic change in my overall mood, disposition, and energy level almost immediately… I felt like my self again for the first time in a couple years! I have been on naturethroid for almost 2 years now and it has completely changed my life for the better. PS. All of his staff are SO great and accommodating… my schedule changes a lot at the last minute and they have always been flexible with rescheduling or squeezing me in. They make me feel like family when I’m there.

Ppl who read these comments, my original post was responded by delight medical in the most bizarre and rude way. This office is trying anything to cover their basis by some lame reasoning. They are nothing more than a complete business rip off. I have all my pre and post labs plus all my credit card statement as a proof. I’m so sorry for a medical office who responds to a true and honest comment like this. Delight medical u don’t even deserve one star. Wow

After losing 40 pounds since October, I decided to return to Dr. Kerendian to take advantage of other services he offers. As a dancer, I have chronic pain in my knees, back, and fett, so I started seeing him about a month ago for prolotherapy. And he is also helping me with my hormonal skin issues. Essentially, I have converted Dr. K into my family physician, and trust him with many aspects of my health and wellness. This is not just a weight management office – he is a full service operation, who achieves results like no other doctor!

I started seeing Dr. Kerendian in October for weight loss and by December I had reached my goal of a little over 20 pounds lost, which I’ve kept off for the last 6 months without a problem. After realizing Dr. Kerendian could get results no one else could, I started seeing him about 3 months ago for prolotherapy and trigger point injections for my back and neck. I’ve had multiple surgeries after a bad car accident and every other doctor has told me I would just have to live with a certain amount of pain in my back. After only two sessions of prolotherapy, though, I can already tell a difference in my range of movement and mobility and I’m excited to see how much difference I feel after the full 6 treatments. And the trigger point injections accomplish what years of deep tissue massages never could — they instantly dissolve my stress knots! I highly recommend Dr. Kerendian for both weight loss and pain management.

I absolutely love Dr Kerendian and his staff! I have been a patient for over a year and have lost over 30lbs with him, maintained that and I am still going! Not only is Dr. Kerendian extremely knowledgeable he is very patient and takes the time to address your needs and concerns. He formulates a specific plan to your needs and makes sure you are healthy and safe. His staff is wonderful. I always look forward to my office visits. i’ve had issues with my weight for as long as i can remember. i also suspected it was something to do with my thyroid as it tends to run in my family. through testing in the beginning, was proven right and the doc helped with that right away :)
i had researched online for someplace to help me lose weight without constant check-​ins because in this day and age, time is pretty scarce. i came across delight medical through my research and it intrigued me since they offer many, many different options to help you lose weight. plus, whichever route you take, they’re always very helpful and informative. obviously with weight loss, you have to keep it up. if you let yourself go, it’s just something that they help you work with.
obviously if you have any questions, definitely ask because they’re not mind readers. i often ask questions that i think border on the ignorant side but they never make me feel like a dummy. the staff always makes me feel comfortable. i feel bad, A LOT, because im the kind of patient that reschedules incredibly last minute but they’re cool with it, luckily.
i am curious about the other options they offer, such as mesotherapy, and when i try, i’ll definitely update my review.

I had a bad experience with the receptionest when I first called the office to make an appointment. I made it a goal to make an appointment anyway and tell Dr. Kerendian about my experience because I was so excited to do his program.
I decided to do the program and lost 30lbs in 3 months! Dr. Kerendian is great and the program really does work! BTW the receptionist is no longer with the office!

I want to begin by saying that I never write reviews. However, I had to let everyone know about my wonderful experience with Dr. Kerendian. For a few months I had an excrutiating pain that was running from my wrist into my fingers and sometimes to my elbow. Before, I knew about Dr. Kerendian I had gone to an Orthopedic Surgeon who treated me for about a month with no results. I had been taking anti-​inflammatory meds and had a brace on for that whole month and had not gotten any better. I was then told to go to Dr. K. I figured I had nothing to lose. I was right, I only had to gain. Within less than an hour Dr. K had figured out what was triggering this pain did some therapy on me and I was on my way. At first, I thought the pain would for sure come back in a few hours. It’s been about a month that I am pain free. I can honestly say that Dr. K is a natural healer. He is very in tune with the human body and knows how to heal pain. Do not hesitate to see him. He really is a miracle worker. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

After my trials and tribulations with weight, I decided to have structure! Dr. Kerendian and his staff are top-​notch. Knowledgeable, kind and on your side.
