I absolutely hate this place, horrible service, prices are whatever, donut selection isn’t good at all, cash only … And to top it off they tried to charge me for the box to carry my donuts out in … I then laughed at them, pushed the donuts back and walked out … NEVERGOHERE !!!

+ Typical donut shop + On-site bakery + Cash only + Parking lot on-site + Diverse selection American’s love donuts. The doughy-deliciousness of sweet bread. Covered with chocolate and sprinkles then stuffed with apples custards. I just look forward to the glazed donut-hole. I believe it’s the best part of the donut experience. Per usual, I Unilocaled for the nearest shop to treat a really good friend for a chat about art and life over sweet bites. So, I grabbed the a Bear Claw, a traditional donut with sprinkles, and a plain sweet donut for me with the help of the owner, who had an enduring smile. I kept my order minimal cause this location is cash only. $ 3 for my selection. I mentioned my love of the donut-whole, but said next time. After paying, he grabbed my bag and filled it with donut-nut holes. Sweet Treats!!! Thank you so much Mr. Diamond Donuts. My friend enjoyed his donuts with a smile.

Hole in the wall place with nice people running it. Donuts are decent, so why the 5 stars? Although I may hate myself for saying it later… Their ham, cheese, and jalapeño croissant are soooo good. They run out pretty quickly, but worth the persistence.

We went because a friend recommended us the place. It’s not very beautiful and it doesn’t invite to come in, BUT, the donuts were really great and at good price. The coffee was not super good and it was ultra hot!

I’m not sure what people are running into when visiting this donut establishment, but from my visit, I don’t see any reason to return. I say a good 80% of the donuts in the window were either missing, lacked originality, color, freshness, or any appeal for that matter. I decided to get the one and only meal they had which was a turkey croissant sandwich. It was meh, it was food. The environment was meh, the service was meh. I’m sorry but this place will only do if your car broke down in front of them at 8am and you had no where else to go but here. Diamond Donuts? That’s ok, thank you.

I’ve tried many donut places including the popular DKs in Santa Monica and Stan’s donuts in Westwood… With that being said, for a traditional donut, this is ranked on the same level or maybe slightly above them! I’m never let down when I order a Boston crème or a raspberry filled donut. They are always extremely soft and the flavor is amazing. Only bad thing about this place is you have to go real early or you’ll miss out! If I was greedy, I’d rank this place a 1 star so it won’t grow popular like these other donut places that don’t even compare! However, I’m not, and I highly recommend stopping in for a donut or dozen because they are that damn good!

Let’s face it, when you want to buy donuts, you don’t care as much about how the store looks because it’s all about the tasty little treats. I’ll admit this isn’t the prettiest donut store I’ve ever been in. But 90% of the time I go in, the woman, Linda behind the counter is super nice and knows all the customers names. This donut shop is uniquely situated on a corner that is across the street from the Culver City Police station and there is a major bus stop right on Centinela where the shop sits. There are always lots of people sitting down inside chatting, having coffee and eating donuts. The donuts: they’re awesome! I stopped into this place solely because it WAS across from a police station(stereotypical? maybe.). I was first stunned by the price. If you order a dozen donuts(mixed — non fancy) it’s $ 7.99. Every two weeks I come in here and order about 2 – 3 dozen for work along with some donut holes. You’d think people in my office have never had donuts. They go on-and-on about how much they LOVE these donuts. I keep going back. I personally like their donuts and find that they aren’t as greasy as other places I’ve tried. The donuts taste very fresh and clean — you’re not tasting week old donut oil from an unchanged fryer. Also, these donuts don’t sit in my gut like a lead brick waiting to pass in agony. They seem relatively lite and refreshing. I will always give these guys my business on m way to work, and I hope you do to.
