Can a 3 year old child really learn how to read the notes, clap the rhythm patterns and play piano? The answer is YES. Our program is very successful in teaching the fundamentals of music to children as young as 3 years old. Our classes will cover a variety of new activities including introduction to musical vocabulary, solfege singing, basic note reading including note values and rhythm patterns, and adding musical games and stories about famous composers.

History

Established in 2005.

The Do Re Mi curriculum is best understood by experiencing it. It’s difficult to understand how a three year old can learn to play an instrument until you witness it for yourself. Do Re Mi Material used in the class, is truly unique in quality and content.

Dragana R.

Business Owner

Dragana Rodriguez, the director and founder of the Do Re Mi Music School, received a degree in music composition in 1993 from the University of Art Yugoslavia.

Upon graduation, Dragana moved to Los Angeles where she attended and graduated in 1994 with «Highest Honors» and «Outstanding Vocalist» awards from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, CA.

Dragana has been teaching music to young children for the past 22 years.

She developed her own music curriculum for young students that strongly connects both the educational side as well as the element of fun. Writing quality material and developing curriculum for children remains Dragana’s passion and true calling!
