Dr. Naime is a great doctor, explains everything and is very smart.
The first time I went, the staff recommended upgraded glasses and lenses. I wasn’t sure about spending the extra money, because I usually just go to Costco and buy the cheap stuff, I but gave it a shot. Best thing I did. Lenses that don’t glare make a huge difference, it’s so much better when I use the computer. Good quality.
This office also has a lot of frames, which is nice, but it took me forever to pick one because of all the options.
They also have this machine so that they can take a picture of your eye, so you don’t have to get dilated. This was very convenient. I hate getting dilated.
Overall, I would definitely recommend.

I visited the office on a recommendation from a family member. I was due for my annual eye exam, so I scheduled a visit with Dr. Naime. He is such an amazing doctor with a wonderful personality that truly puts you at ease. He recommended a new contact lens that is much more comfortable than anything I’ve ever worn before. The staff was fantastic and Maria helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. The selection of glasses is extensive, and I could hardly choose. I definitely recommend the Naime-​Espinosa Vision Center!

My family has been using this office for all of our eye care needs, and everyone at this office is amazing. Dr. Naime provides a very thorough eye exam and his staff is so friendly! They have a great selection of frames to choose from and Dr. Naime does an amazing job making sure our new glasses fit perfectly. They also have very convenient appointment times available. We always have the best experience here!

I visited Dr. Naime for my annual checkup and I can truly say it was one of my best visits to an optometrist. The fast service, great staff, great doctor and great selection of glasses.
The staff is friendly and very helpful explaining what you need to do on the different tests. Along with some specialized equipment that they have like the optomap, which takes a full very detailed picture of your eye, doctors that can’t afford an optomap still dilate your eyes. Dr. Naime explained that the eye is one of the very first places a lot of disease like diabetes or cholesterol can be detected, that to me makes that picture very important.
Dr. Naime is patient and takes his time explaining everything that he is doing and very knowledgable and happy to answer any questions you may have, he will even talk to you about sports.
Once your done, the glasses and sunglasses selection is great, they have everything for what ever your budget is. Maria is very helpful and takes into consideration any budget restrictions and informs you about what your insurance covers or doesn’t so that there are no surprises in the end. I personally love getting my glasses where I test my eyes, simplifies the process and removes any mistakes or confusion from the equation. Plus after a lot of research, I figured out that the quality of lenses a private optometrist offers is much better than what you would get at the big places that sell glasses and have an optometrist office in their big stores, if they wanted to match the glasses the price would be the same or more than a private office.
All in all, love my experience and Dr. Naime, with a great selection of glasses and sunglasses. I much prefer visiting a private office over any of those chain stores.

Been coming here for maybe 15 years. Greatest service pertaining to your vision, and their concern for you is as genuine as it can get. I love everyone that works here, even the receptionists are top notch. The best thing about this place is that they take a deep picture of your retina, and that is very important because they can detect early signs of diabetes and clouds in your eyes.
With that being said, the only reason I deducted one star from this place is because they are very very very pushy about doing your glasses here. I don’t like getting my glasses here because A) they are not affordable to me B) They don’t have a lab in this place, so what they do is they send your chosen frames and your prescriptions and to San Diego, and that place sends them back to this place. Too much of a hassle, with so many possibilities of losing the glasses, breaking the glasses during shipment etc. — I am a person that need glasses ASAP all the time! C) it is very far from my house. I just see more cons than pros for this place.
I just wish they would let me do my own thing for the best of my interest. There is a place next to my house that has a daily special of 2 glasses for 99.95 — plus an additional 20 dollars if I want my glasses within a span of two hours. Now, that to me is AFFORDABLE, and convenient. The glasses are really cute too! In conclusion, I definitely recommend this place. To get glasses? I would think about it twice.

The service was good. Friendly staff for the most part. I also had to wait for an appointment and got there 10 minutes before the appointment.
There worst part of this place is that they are extremely pushy to get you to buy the glasses at their location. You asked them to give you the prescription and they give you a lecture about being economical and that they are understanding about the situation.
The lecture then goes into how they care about their customers and they don’t want you going anywhere else because if the other location messes up then they have to redo the prescription and have to make a second appointment to assist you,
I work in sales and I noticed their extreme sales tactics. Beware of their sales tactics!!! Try to sell you everything.
They try their hardest to NOT give you the prescription.

This is my first time here. Didn’t Have my appointment until another week. But i called in and they where good about changing my appointment to an earlier date. Which for me is very convenient, thanks to there friendly staff.
As soon as i walked in i checked in and filled out some paper work no more than 5 min by the time i turned it in i was already getting called to get checked talk about fast.

I have always had problems finding the right doctor and the right lenses. Time after time I ended up with blood shot eyes because of the wrong lenses.
Finally decided to come here and it’s been the best decision of my life regarding my eyes.
Dr. Naime is a world class doctor and he will definitely take care of you. Angie is also amazing. Definitely recommend this place to your friends and family.

Dr. Naime is your guy if you are hard to fit in the contact lens department. Finally someone found the right prescription — or the closest thing that I will ever get to it with my jacked up eyes. And he was pretty nice about the process.
But, don’t go there unguarded. I had to have my glasses redone when they did the wrong prescription. The lab guy apologized, but the location isn’t exactly convenient for me. The lab quality isn’t very good as the edges of the lenses were very rough. And the glasses are overpriced — especially considering this is East LA. I had thought about getting an additional prescription for readers to wear with my contacts and the staff blew me off. I was wiling to pay extra for another visit. I have high expectations, I know I do, but when I am willing to pay cause I just got insurance, don’t blow me off.
And then after blowing me off, they wanted $ 100 per box for the contacts. I said I could get them for less online. They asked if they could talk to the doc about it first and ask for a better price and then they would send my prescription. I explained very simply that they are legally obligated to send my prescription to me whether or not I order my contact lenses from them. I got it in the mail in a few days. It’s the games I don’t like. I’ve got an eye out for a discount and got 4 boxes for around $ 150-​legit! $ 100 per box, yeah right! I know ya gotta mark up to make a profit, but that’s gouging.
So, Dr. Naime gets 5 stars as a Doctor and all around nice guy, but 2 stars to the office and the staff. Rounds out to about 3 for an over all experience. From my understanding, they have changed labs. I will have to give them another try to see how things go.

I went to Dr. Naime for all five years that I lived in LA and had a wonderful experience through and through. All of the staff are unfailingly kind and patient — calling it «good customer service» undervalues what it really is: genuinely caring about people. Dr. Naime always takes the time to talk through everything with you — you never feel that he is hurried. Everyone on staff is bilingual and it is a welcoming environment no matter which language you speak or the kind of health issue you have. I have had terrible eyesight for years and for three years I debated whether to get Lasik. The doctor spent lots of time talking with me in detail and never pressured me on a decision. He referred me to a great Lasik doctor and did all my post-​op check-​ups and I can now see better than ever. Thank you to Dr. Naime and all your staff for taking care of me and my eyes for these past few years!
