El Camaron Pelado

My wife heard about this place by word of mouth through a fellow classmate. They said that their micheladas were super good. We decided to go and check this place out. It did not disappoint.
We each ordered one of each and it was incredibly good. Came with shrimp, pepinos, and the tajin coating around the glass. We also ordered some food. I ordered two tacos de pescado and she ordered their camarones rancheros. Both of those were extremely good. The service was really good, especially that there were only two waitresses running the whole floor.
Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone to go and try out and definitely a place to go again.

Soooo good! Drove 15 miles for this spot & it was totally worth it! Michelada was BOMB! Went on a tuesday mid day, wasn’t busy but im sure it gets crazy busy on weekends! Saw alot of ppl walk in like they were regulars which is always a good sign of good food & customer service!

This is the best mariscos place I’ve been to! Everything tastes fresh and a very friendly family vibe. Really deserves 5 stars. Enjoy!

First time here I was not disappointed with the food! Omg their tostada aguachile bomb!!! And their shrimp tacos were also delicious ! I’m not sure if it’s the sauce or the fried shrimp, but the combo of both are so good! Definitely coming back !! And their micheladas were really good as well! My friend and I got the micheladas with the shrimp & cucumber were so delicious ! If you’re a huge micheladas sucker this spot is for you !

They have the best Micheladas! I love that this place is 5 minutes away from me! I highly recommend their Shrimp Tacos and their Shrimp Empanadas! So good!!! Only bad thing is their hours… not very consistent. Other than that. their food, drinks, and salsas are delicious!

The BEST micheladas I’ve ever had! You also need to try their ostiones especiales! I’ll definitely be coming here more often! And the customer service is excellent!

Only thing is place only has shrimp and fish so if you’re looking for chicken or meat, it might not be the place for you.

This is the best seafood that I have ever had in my life. Let’s start with the crab legs. They are so good with the cucaracha sauce, it amazing! There drinks are really good too. I hope I get to come back to Los Angeles just for this place!

This place was a bit lonely when my boyfriend I stepped in but as soon as the waiter was aware that we had entered he sat us down and accommodated us with chips and salsa. The food came shortly, and it was DELICIOUS! I ordered a tostada de ceviche de pescado and aguachile. For $ 2 each that is an unbelievable deal! Second, I have never been a fan of micheladas but the menu had such great pictures of some micheladas they made & I had to try one out! Surprisingly, I loved it! The Rubia and the Morena has such an amazing presentation. It’s super delicious as well. I wished it had more customers while I was there. I feel like it’s a hidden gem in Lincoln heights. Im definitely coming here more often. 5 stars from me !

I usually come during lunch since I work nearby. Just a note that they are typically CLOSED on Mondays. I haven’t tried the Micheladas /​cocktails yet, but they look boooommbbbb. Also, that green sauce… yum.

This place has taken me by surprise!!! Stopped here after yoga for a healthy lunch and let me tell you. I am hooked.

Not to brag but I’m pretty much Michelada connoisseur, and this place truly serves some of the best Micheladas I’ve ever had! The presentation is great and the flavor is amazing. Their seafood dishes are also great and the I can’t complain about the prices. The servers are very friendly and I’m here almost weekly.

First time here, presentation of the food was wonderful, and it tasted even better than it looked. Today there was no live music because of the holiday but they said they usually have live music on Sundays after 2. Service was friendly. Place and bathroom looked clean. I word of advice this is an authentic Mexican place with saints in altars as decoration.

I found this place by accident, and boy am I glad I did. Luckily, this spot is right in the neighborhood I work in. I ordered 3 tostadas, mixta, Camaron and aguachile. They were delicious and filling. I also ordered a Michelada with a Moledo, and it was so amazingly yummy. I convinced my friend to order one too because she doesn’t like beer at all. She said she finally found a michelada, she will actually drink because it was so tasty. I will definitely be returning as a regular, now that I know it’s here.

Tostada de agua chile was delicious! Along with the ostiones especiales… never had anything like them. Very fresh and delicious seafood. We will definitely make this our go to place for seafood!

One of my favorite spots so far. They got the best micheladas I’ve tried. The seafood is really good too! I will keep coming back for sure.

First time here on a Thursday night and it was perfect, a real hole in the wall location, great prices for everything from the food to the beer (their beer selection was small but it is exactly what you want), its hard to find a restaurant with great tasting food and cheap beer, most places will try to charge you more for beer because they can, this place doesn’t.

Yasssssss. Usually eat mariscos in Boyle heights or back home in the IE but we didn’t want to drive too far… Luckily I found this place on Unilocal.I love Lincoln heights, so much good food everywhere !!
We had the aguachiles (they made me cry sooo spicy!) the empanadas, a taco de camaron, taco de pescado, and a coctel. The empanadas are some of the best I’ve ever had, and the taco de camaron was sooo good. No salsa on top like other places, but really good flavor. And the bill came out to like 17 dollars! So cheap for so much food, we were so full after. Good find, plenty of parking and their micheladas and other drinks look bomb!

My husband heard about this spot, which is really close to our house, and brought me home a fried shrimp taco and shrimp empanadas.
I really enjoyed the shrimp taco and particularly the red sauce they put on it that’s kind of like enchilada sauce. I’ve never had it on a shrimp taco but it was tasty! The empanada was similar to the taco but without the red sauce. I preferred the fried crunchiness of the taco; the empanada dough was a bit chewy. Both come with avocado, although other seafood places are much more generous with avocado and salsa. The green salsa was also very good; it had a fresh taste and nice heat.
I’m happy this place is close by as I prefer it to the other seafood spots in the area and would love to try the langostino!
