Small lovely restaurant on a corner with street parking and a tiny lot. There has always been a table open for me to sit at when I’ve gone(I’ve only been here twice). The servers are kind :] The chips are brought out warm and fresh with salsa that has a good kick of heat to it. I really like the small booths they have for those who are there alone or w/one other person — it’s a perfect size. It was recommended to try their michelada(which I did and liked so much, I would have ordered a second one had I not been strapped on time). I have also tried their ceviche and cocktail. Both were good, but not my favorite place to get them at. I would come back for their michelada!

Love this place! Come here for lunch when craving Mexican food, and this is probably one of my favorite Mexican restaurants(on a short list of few). This place is clean and well maintained; the servers are always so friendly and nice, and the food and price is great! Also, the restaurant is always so so so festive! If it’s February, you can expect hearts and streamers everywhere(yeah, a little tacky, but the effort is so appreciated and cute!) December? Santa is everywhere! I always get the enchilada combo – 1 cheese and 1 chicken enchilada. It comes with a side of rice, beans, salad, and soup(not a big fan of the soup though). They also give you a complimentary bowl of tortilla chips with some yummy salsa~ I only come here for lunch since it’s located next to my work, but I always see people drinking a cocktail or beer with their meal. The only downfall to this place is that the parking really sucks. If you’re parking INSIDE the lot, make sure that you go in carefully as the streets are not well maintained and it can really crack your front bumper if you go in fast. Not only that, there are only about 4 – 5 compact parking spots available, which are all usually filled. Your options if the lot is full is to either walk here if able, or find street parking. There are about 315-minute parking spots in the front, but I always just park there and it never seemed to be a problem. But park here at your own risk.

I was driving around LA looking for a place to eat. All I kept seeing is Mexican restaurants… I don’t understand how there are a thousand restaurants in one area that all survive lol. So I Unilocal for food in the area and guess what I found… Yes! A Mexican restaurant!(To my surprise, Lol). What caught me is the pic on Unilocal of the fish and shrimp tostada, and that is exactly what I got when I sat down. Lunch special — $ 7.50?! That is freakin awesome! They brought out some fresh made chips and salsa that tastes awesome, I got my normal Arnold Palmer and my fish and shrimp tostada. All the food seriously tasted so good! The tostada blew me away, especially at that price! I know I will be back and if you have not tried this spot… Seriously go try it!
