Get’s the job done! The staff is really nice and there is someone there from opening to closing cleaning the place constantly. I really love that about this place!

**GETS THE JOB DONE, SON**
Gym is perfect for me.
PROS:
*2 min from work (borders Santa Monica and West LA on Wilshire)
*Essential machinery and equipment
*Good layout
*No haters (women are friendly and few)
*No pervs (ok, maybe one or two, but they just look, they don’t approach)
*Not too many people (not empty, but you don’t have to fight or wait for machines)
*Showers
*Towels
*I get reception for my Pandora music (I use AT&T)
*Free parking for 2 hours
*Front desk (when they are there) are super friendly and nice
CONS:
*Bunch of weird characters
*Staff service is a hit or miss
*70−80’s hard rock classics in the background (bring your own music, son)
*You need a separate key for the bathroom
I consider it a *boutique* gym.
My muscles do not discriminate.
I go in FATTIE.
I come out TONIE.
RECOMMEND.

I joined Elio’s when my previous gym, Great Shape, went out of business about 4 years ago. I was worried at first because Great Shape had been an all-women’s gym where I had been very comfortable. However, I needn’t have worried, everyone was so welcoming and friendly and I never felt any weirdness like you can often feel when men and women are working out together. Everyone is very professional, friendly and helpful, and I actually look more forward to going here than I did to my previous gym. It is always immaculately clean and has more machines and weights than you can ever think of using. My only complaint is that they have shortened hours on the weekends, when I often have free time to go. If they would only stay open regular hours on the weekends this would be the most perfect gym of all time, at least for me!

What a joke… first of all they dont even answer their telephone when you call. And if you are lucky enough to have someone answer the phone, be ready to be placed on hold until whenever or infinitelly …
FYI everyone has an accent, so i wonder… was it a mutual thing?
I received a gift certificate for $ 500.00 and tried to use it, but they never honor it. I am making sure anyone i know does not buy a gift certificate from these people… Bad Bad Bad…
So my review advise is: go somewhere else, get your tennis shoes or trainers and go to the beach… there you get your money’s worth on Vitamin D intake.
