I got into a car accident recently (thank god no one was hurt).
basically I was on the lane closest to the sidewalk going straight and another car was making a left. he didn’t see me because I was behind other cars to the left that slowed down. he T boned my car making a huge dent on my side doors. bad teen driving.
so I went online to find a car accident lawyer and I came across Elite Personal Injury. the attorney there was really fast and promising in handling business, so I decided to go with them. plus it seemed like a pretty straight forward case, I knew it would go over smoothly. I’ve been in a car accident before, so I kinda knew how things would go. Got the results I expected and the professionalism I was hoping for. I would definitely use Elite again.
one thing though, I had an appointment and still had to wait about 20minutes to be seen… so that was a little annoying.

I don’t write reviews all the time, but when a place offers a product or service that exceeds my expectations, I feel like it’s the least I could do to show them my appreciation and Elite Personal Injury definitely deserves some appreciation.
I’ve never had any major injuries or anything in all my 32 years, but last year I really messed my ankle up at work doing an emergency delivery after hours with my own vehicle. I normally didn’t do any deliveries after hours and especially with my own car, but the car begged me to make an exception for a special client. I agreed to help, but since I didn’t have the company van or any of the company equipment to make the delivery properly, I basically just had to carry some very heavy items by hand and ended up with a fractured ankle because of it. It was the last thing I wanted to do though, cuz I just assumed that it would be too much of a pain in the ass and that I wouldn’t get anything out of it, but I thought I’d atleast try.

I was just looking for any injury attorney near by in LA that seemed legit and I luckily stumbled upon Elite Personal Injury. I felt good about it afterwards and thought I might have some hope for some compensation. I heard back from them within just a few days and they kept me up-​to-​date all the time. I tend to walk a lot where I live but since I’m right next to busy intersection, I have to be super cautious of cars that don’t yield the way to pedestrians crossing. I got rear ended in front of Canters on Fairfax: it happens. To be fair, it was my decision to get behind the wheel during a light drizzle, because on days such as these in this town, people drive as if they heard news of an air raid, and they have 10 minutes to frantically evacuate before the bombs start dropping. Then came all the standard players that assemble at the scene of an accident: 2 black and whites, ambulance, line of cars stuck in traffic wishing you were in a coma because the street got narrowed down to one lane, etc. My neck was sore, but I could walk. I didn’t know what shape I was in, and as the ambulance had already come, I decided to go the hospital. They did an X-​ray, and said to take it easy. Two weeks later, I still didn’t feel up to snuff, so I went to the ER at Cedars, and got another x-​ray. Doctor said I was fine, but I decided to keep complaining. In order to shut me up, he gave me a CT scan. As it turns out, I had a herniated disc in my neck that was pinching a nerve causing my shoulder and neck to be in tension. The nerve was damaged, so my options were between permanent tension and expensive physical therapy. They’d missed that at the first hospital, which shall remain unnamed, but I decided that since I wasn’t at fault, I’d lawyer up and sue for negligence. A friend of mine had a similar problem, and he recommended Elite to me if I had to deal with any of this nonsense. So I called, scheduled an appointment, and within a day and a half had a professional on my side to deal with the insurance companies and the hospitals. I settled out of court, but the process was quick, painless (metaphorically), and I got my medical bills covered and then some. If you live in the LA area, chances are you have been in a car accident. I had the unfortunate experience of being slammed into on the 405 by an under-​insured driver. I was in so much pain, my car was damaged and I had no idea what to do. My insurance wouldn’t cover medical, but neither would the other driver’s. I used a lift wand facial machine for about a month and saw no visible results; but, more importantly I have safety concerns about this product. The plug is not a standard safety plug and does not have the larger left sided prong (both prongs are the same size). No where on the packaging or on the product itself does it say where the product is made. The english grammar in the instruction manual (which is very minimal) is so poorly written it is almost indecipherable. The product is delivering electricity to your skin and the unit crackles and pops. The bottom line is I just didn’t feel safe in continuing to using the product. I wasn’t sure if there was someone out there that could help me with my concerns. Luckily I found the right personal injury lawyer for me in the type of injury I acquired. So I never thought I’d get into an accident bad enough where I’d need to seek out a personal injury attorney, but that’s what happened to me while leaving a job interview, no less. I was still new to LA at the time and did not know the city as well as I do now.
And on top of that, it was a hit-​and-​run in Mid City. So a quick breakdown:
Luckily the sideswipe front and a part of my front right passenger side to my Nissan did not cause leaky fluids or damage to my radiator, so I was able to quickly get my vehicle to a trustworthy mechanic and, unfortunately, eat some those costs. I don’t know much about the law, let alone cars, so whenever I need help I either have to look it up, or ask someone to help me.
