I’ve been getting lash extensions from Jeannie for years now & they’ve always always turned out so well. I even make the 30 min drive to get refills. hear horror stories of people getting infections & I’m so relieved Jeannie is around. I only get the volume lashes from her now (obviously, I’m addicted to the look). With daily care, they last me quite a long time. I could go more than a month between appointments and still look great. Akiko works with Jeannie & I’ve gotten lash extensions from her as well (she also does Jeannie’s lashes). She’s just as great & clean. I highly recommend either of them!

I have previously shared my love for Jeannie here and that hasn’t changed! Through job interviews (mine), weddings (hers), breakups and new boyfriends (mine), and pregnancy (also hers!), Jeannie has continued her excellence in lash magic.
That being said, with the arrival of her beautiful baby girl came the dreaded words, MATERNITY LEAVE… how was I going to have lovely lashes without Jeannie?! Enter Akiko! She partnered with Jeannie to provide a seamless transition while Jeannie was gone, and I quickly fell in love with her style and personality too. Bonus: Jeannie still handles all the scheduling via text so there is no confusion.
Akiko has the same gentle touch and expert technique as Jeannie, and an open heart and soothing presence that can either give me great advice when we chat while she works, or puts me straight to sleep! Akiko’s work is detailed and she stands by it — when I had any issues, she fixes it no question! Her volume lashes are fluffy, natural, gorgeous with no visible glue and great isolation, and I almost always get compliments even when I’m due for a fill, and I feel like a supermodel when they’re fresh. I’m addicted!
Now that Jeannie is back working limited hours, I’m thrilled to have two awesome lash artists and go to whichever is available when I have time. Give them a shot, you won’t regret it!
Same convenient location with parking, restrooms, and refreshments, can’t beat it!

After doing research, I texted Jeannie at Love Lash Beauty and had many questions for her. She answered all my questions, was very friendly, and never once pushed me to make an appointment. I loved that I can text her instead of calling too… Gotta multi-​task especially with a 2 year old boy :)
This was my first eyelash extension experience and I’m addicted! The only problem, it’s very high maintenance (cost wise).
I got it done a couple weeks before my wedding (9÷12÷15). I had my initial set done by Jeannie and the touch up a week after by Akiko and I can safely say they’re both amazing! I’ve done a lot of research since this is done very close to your eyes. Love Lash Beauty uses good quality lashes and are up to date in this industry. I didn’t feel anything during the application, my eyes did not hurt when it was finished, and I didn’t smell any chemicals (like I’ve read in other salons)… It was like nothing was done near or around my eyes until I looked in the mirror and voila! Lashes! I have monolids so it was a bit harder to see the lashes as opposed to other Asians or Caucasians but when Akiko did the touch up, somehow I was able to see the lashes better which was perfect for my wedding but that’s not to say Jeannie wasn’t amazing. They’re both great, very articulate, knowledgeable, and love what they do. They’re easy to talk to which makes the time fly.
I’ve had the touch up done about 1 ½ weeks ago and a few (mostly at the far ends of my eyes) have fallen out. Normal considering your eyelash cycle and there aren’t any bald spots and eyelash flipping every which way so it still looks awesome! I’ll be making my next appt soon.
I can go on and on about how great this place is and how great they are so let me just finish off by saying, if you’re not sure where to try lash extensions, give Love Lash Beauty a try. You won’t regret it!

You will see a lot of reviews by gals here, but guys… don’t be afraid to get your eyebrow game on point! Jeannie helped get my brows under control. The great part is, she lets you hold a mirror and will teach you how to maintain them yourself until you can get back to see her for a more professional job.
As a bonus, Love Lash Beauty is right in the heart of Sawtelle Japan Town with a very quiet studio. It’s easy to walk to one of the nearby cafes for a nice lunch after a session!

Since Jeannie has been on leave, I’ve been seeing Aiko for my volume lash refills. Just like Jeannie, Aiko is fantastic at her craft. She is professional, friendly, makes you feel comfortable, and most importantly, makes your lashes luuuush! Always the best care and service from Love Lash Beauty.

Jeannie has been doing my lashes for over a year now and she’s super skillful in laying out gorgeous lashes. She does both classic and volume for a reasonable price (especially for the westside), making sure to re-​do them every time so you’re getting a fresh new set each visit. Her salon is cozy but not stuffy, with calm colors (baby blue and white), beautiful spa-​like décor (including snacks and mini bottles of water) and comfortable tables and headrests. BIG BONUS: there is a reserved parking spot in a private lot so you don’t have to look for parking (which is a huge plus around the Sawtelle area!)
Jeannie is well versed with various types of lashes and can advise on what works best for you. She’s bubbly and easy to talk to, so while you can always lay down and take a nap (lashes can take anywhere from an hour to an hour and 20 min), I usually end up talking to her the entire time. She did my lashes for my wedding a few months ago and she did a SUPERB job. The lashes came out super dramatic, dark and full, and I didn’t dare put mascara on them on my wedding day, despite the makeup artist advising me to, because I didn’t want to ruin the lashes! They also held up really well throughout my 2 week honeymoon. I’ve been to places where the lashes fall out super quick but these suckers lasted the entire trip!
So Jeannie went on maternity leave and advised me that her friend Akiko would take over for a bit. At first, I was nervous because I REALLY liked Jeannie’s work, but Akiko has proven to be just as talented. Her work is flawless — both classic and volume — and like Jeannie, Akiko is sweet and easy to talk to. The first time I saw her, I ended up napping because I was super comfortable, but the last several times I’ve seen her, we chatted the entire time. Akiko takes the time to make sure your lashes look natural and stunning at the same time. She blends the lashes at different lengths and when you walk out, you technically don’t even need eye makeup cause her work makes your eyes pop.
And here’s a random story that shows how kind Akiko is. I recently had the misfortune of suffering a face injury that caused me to lose a few eyelash extensions. Mind you, I had just seen Akiko the other week so I had a fresh set of lashes on me. Needless to say, I was pretty upset when I lost a chunk of lashes due to my injury. I texted Jeannie to see if Akiko could help touch up the missing lashes and was pleased to hear Akiko could take me the very next day. Both ladies were super nice to accommodate my request! And Akiko was so sweet to take a half hour of her busy day to not only fix the missing part, but also touch up my other eye because she’s a perfectionist and a true artist :) After she finished, I wanted to tip her but she refused my tip. I was so thankful that she was able to help me (especially on such short notice) and wanted to give her a little something but she insisted that she didn’t want anything. SO SWEET. I can’t believe how kind Akiko was (and Jeannie for helping me to book her!). This review isn’t to send girls to Love Lash Beauty to take advantage of any freebies — it’s just to show how kind and accommodating Akiko and Jeannie are. Not only are my lashes beautiful, but the service is exceptional. I’ve seen various people in the past for my lashes (including horrible ones from groupon) and there is no competition — the ladies of Love Lash Beauty are far superior!

Time for an updated review. I’ve been coming to Love Lash Beauty for about a year now. And for my past 4 refills, they were done by Akiko! She does an amazing job every single time! Her personality is also so warm and personable I look forward to seeing her for my appointments I get my volume lashes done with her, and it is always fluffy and super full. Love Lash Beauty is the only place I trust with eye lash extensions around West LA! Jeannie and Akiko are passionate about lashes, and it always shows through their work.

This place is as good as it gets. Jeannie is beyond fantastic. She is so meticulous with her work and such a sweet person. My lashes came out stunning.

I’ve been seeing Jeannie for over a year now and she has never let me down. I was nervous at my first appointment as I’d heard horror stories of lashes gone rogue, but was referred to Love Lash by a friend with the promise she’s the best. Even still, my expectations were exceeded. Jeannie talked me through the entire process of selecting which lash style fit my taste and my features. She offers a variety of lengths, volumes and curl so that your custom lashes look as natural as you wish. Not to mention I am constantly on the go and seriously appreciate the time lash extensions have afforded me. Needless to say– I’m addicted.

Jeannie is AWESOME. She is so bubbly and accommodating. Her lash studio is super cute and clean. Very relaxing atmosphere.
This was my first time getting lash extensions and I picked her bc of all the great reviews she got, and they were all right! She made me very comfortable and she was so quick! A classic lash set usually takes about 2 hrs, she did mine in a little over an hour.
She talked to me the whole time so it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. She talks to you just like a friend :) My lashes look amazing and so natural. People can’t believe they’re not mine! She even gives you a lash care kit when you’re done that has quality products in it. It was worth every penny and I’ll definitely be going to her from now on for any of my lash and brow needs :)

jeannie is the best! i couldn’t trust anyone else with my lashes. she has been doing my lash extensions for a while… just recently i tried her new volume technique. now i’ll never go back to the classic extensions. my lashes are so full and lush, yet still look natural. my natural lashes have gotten much thinner over the years, i can’t live without my lash extensions and jeannie! its like an instant face lift :)

Jeannie is a fantastic person and amazing at what she does.
Lashes aside, she’s a very likeable person, which makes the experience all the better. Jeannie’s very bubbly and energetic; she puts you immediately at ease. Whether I chat the whole time or fall asleep, I know I’m in good hands.
On top of all that, she’s professional. She communicates well and is organized, and talks you through what type of lashes would work best on you and how to best take care of them (and your original lashes, too!) I loved her work and got lots of compliments from my friends and random people, too. I was pretty skeptical about lash extensions to begin with, but Jeannie definitely made me a convert.

So I just got my eyelashes done…

So this is my first time getting extensions and I’m so so thrilled that I did it with Jeannie! She is a true artist and perfectionist — and I mean that as the highest of compliments. She knows what she is doing.
On top of being the best of the best, she is such a sweet and bubbly person! Right when we started she told me I was free to take a nap whatever. But that 2+ hour duration we were just talking! I mean yeah you could take the time to relax rest whatever but she was just so easy to talk to and so interesting!
She also does brows, and she definitely tamed my Frida and Kahlo — aka my eyebrows

I had previously had my lashes done and had the worst experience ever.
I was hesitant to give lash extension another try, I researched and researched and researched, my gut instinct told me to give Jeannie a try.
She was so upbeat and professional from the start.
Contacting her was a breeze, she sent me a detailed email upon making my appointment and I have been receiving compliments ever since!
The entire process was pleasant, she is thorough and meticulous about her work. She took her time and it showed.
Her personality is warm and upbeat, an individual who takes pride in mastering what she loves.
I returned for my second appointment and I must admit, that I was so comfortable that I fell asleep!!!
I woke up looking so refreshed with my eyelashes.

OK, so this review is long overdue. Jeannie is hands down the best. I can’t live without my lashes and I don’t think I will ever go to anyone else.
She is absolutely amazing and will always make you look beautiful. I train everyday so I sweat a lot, and Jeannie will always get me in for emergency fills. She has also become my confidante since I moved to LA from Seattle. I can’t say enough great things about this wonderful individual, she has not only become my lash artist, but a great friend as well.

I have to write another review– I started getting the Volume Lashes and, frankly, almost everyone I meet compliments me on them! I love them so much. :) Thank you Jeannie! I swear, the lashes make me feel so much more confident and beautiful. And Jeannie’s new office space is just adorable. You will not regret going here! Sooo grateful to her!
Also, I just tried threading for the first time here. Now I am addicted! I never even knew such a thing existed and it’s pretty much the best thing ever. :) MUCH better than waxing!

I cannot thank Jeannie enough. The first time I went to her, I had terrible eyelash extensions (she has pictures if you want to see how bad it can get) and she fixed them right up. I got them done again this year for my birthday about 6 weeks ago and they still look pretty good. She makes you feel very comfortable and REALLY REALLY cares about what she’s doing. She ensures that your eyelashes look appropriate for your face and makes sure that she’s up to date with all of the possible techniques out there to make your eyelashes look perfect. Again I can’t thank her enough for fixing my eyelashes the first time and giving me that little extra confidence boost for my 21^st and 22^nd birthday. She gives me something else to look forward to on my birthday, now.
