Foundations Preschool

I could give this place and JoJo a 1000 stars if I could. A very homely (and yet professional) environment with lots of educational play. There is also a nice backyard where the kids get lots of outside playtime and get to explore the nature with JoJo. We also get regular email updates with photos about what the kids learned, which is amazing. JoJo is awesome. My little one simply loves her preschool and we rest assured she is in good hands.

Jojo is an outstanding teacher and has a natural talent in working with children. I HIGHLY recommend Foundations Preschool. My kids light up when they walk in the door and they just love being around Jojo!

JoJo is amazing! We found Foundations Preschool through Unilocal… I was a bit nervous to find a daycare/​preschool through Unilocal but was running out of options (my 20 month old daughter was in a larger infant/​toddler/​preschool center that had major issues with staff turnover leaving my daughter stressed and unhappy). I knew I wanted a home-​based program where the teacher was truly passionate about developing young little people. JoJo was more than we could have ever hoped for!
My husband and I have been blown away at how JoJo transformed her home into an adventurous environment that embraces play-​based learning. Some activities are Montessori inspired, others Reggio inspired, and others are JoJo-​inspired. They do a lot of singing, painting, gardening, and (age-​appropriate) cooking! The school is incredibly clean, too! JoJo truly gives her all to making Foundations a success. She is incredibly warm and engaging and she uses respectful language with all of the kids. When problematic behavior pops up, JoJo redirects if possible, but always affirms feelings and names emotions so that the kids can begin to learn how to regulate their emotions.
In a little over 6 weeks, my daughter has blossomed (she sleeps better, talks so much more, says «please» and «thank you» on her own). JoJo also sends amazing email updates each week talking about what the kids did with extensive photos. I can’t speak more highly of JoJo! This school is a gem and because this is the first year, there is actually space for more kids!

What can I say about our experience at Foundations Preschool. Upon our first visit, we were blown away with the professionalism and quality of the preschool. Our daughters reaction made us feel like they were part of our family from the beginning. Once she began her schooling, she was the happiest kid alive. We entrust Lily with Foundations 100%. A truly wonderful place for child development.

Jojo has such a good way with children. She loves what she does and she has a beautiful and spacious preschool.
She has a great philosophy around education.
Her day care has extended hours and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Her full time day care 8 – 4 mon-​fri is the most affordable I have come across too!

I cannot say enough how wonderful it is to work closely with Jojo and Foundations Preschool. Being an Early Childhood Educator myself and having the opportunity to bring my program to Foundations Preschool has been an incredible experience. Foundations Preschool allows children to learn, grow, and explore their identities in a safe environment. I love how Jojo integrates her knowledge on Early Childhood Development along with expressing her warm and nurturing personalty.
