G & E Forman Construction

We recently needed some work done on our duplex rental unit. Someone ran their car into the back of the building, causing damage to the outside of our property as well as major damage to the inside wall of the master bedroom. Obviously this needed to get fixed ASAP.
Well, finding a contractor is never an easy job. Who do you call? Will they do good work? Are they trustworthy? Will things get done in a timely manner?
Fortunately, we looked here on Unilocal,and we found G & E Forman Construction. Mr. Forman was everything a good contractor should be. He returned our initial call right away and set up an appointment. He was on time and very professional in giving us his estimate. Right away we knew that we wanted him to do the job.
Every step of the way he kept us informed with photos and texts and emails of the progress he was making on our job. His workmanship is top quality. You definitely can see that he knows what he is doing and that he takes pride in getting the job done right. We were beyond thrilled with the final result. And the job was finished in a very reasonable amount of time.
I would not hesitate to use G & E Forman Construction again in the future, and I would definitely recommend that anyone who needs a great general contractor should give Gary a call.

Finding a contractor with real integrity and pride of workmanship can sometimes feel like lofty goal, but I think I’ve found just that in Gary Forman and his crew. I had a small job (smoothing my walls over where the backsplash tile had been removed) but Gary treated it as though he was working on a palace. He took such care to make sure that the finished product was perfect! Even for someone like me (super picky) he surpassed all expectations. The new work is as smooth as melted butter and blends perfectly with the old wall. I almost hate to paint it.
I have more work to do in my kitchen and will definitely be calling Gary back when I’m ready. I cannot recommend his services enough.

An honest contractor — now there’s an idea! Gary C. Forman, General Contractor, and his crew recently worked at my place for several weeks. They tore off and replaced 3 stories of rotten exterior siding (living at the beach does have its drawbacks, like high humidity salt air that deteriorates EVERYTHING). Then they put up some (interior) drywall for me and I might hire them to do a slate floor in the same room. Because I know it will be done right, and nothing will be rushed. Gary came highly recommended & now I can see why. He is meticulous. He and his crew even cleaned up entirely at the end of each day, so I would not freak out at any messiness. I lived with scaffolding and sawdust and noise for a long time, and couldn’t wait for it all to be over… but guess what? I miss my guys! We had so much fun clowning around. These are good guys who do a good job at a very fair price and stand behind their work. Oh, and they were careful not to let the cat run out, and they loved my artwork. Here’s some examples of the work Gary does: additions, bathrooms, decks, driveways, exterior stucco, interior plastering, kitchens, interior & exterior painting, patios, retrofitting/​seismic rehab, roofs, new construction. Whew, no wonder they look physically fit. Eva, Gary’s wife, manages the paperwork for the business. A very nice lady, who is also a licensed realtor.
