Kesia is amazing! I always leave with a great haircut. All the barbers at General Barber Shop take their time and are very meticulous with their cuts.

West side of Los Angeles in WeHo is the General Barbershop. Hip spot, kid friendly, and always great stimulating conversation.

I’ve been going here for a little while now and really appreciate the personalized service and attention to detail offered by Greg aka Big Greg who works here. He’s always been super cool with me and remembers the nuances of my head and the specifics of what I like from cut to cut. Forget Floyd’s or Shortys where they call it a barber but then everyone is a «stylist.» I for one need a barbers skill with the straight razor to pull off my look. I am honestly shocked that no one else has reviewed this place. Hopefully more will check it out now.

This place is in a prime location and has the potential to be a good barber shop. Problem is they are so unprofessional and ignorant. I have been in there at least 2 times when small children were in there with their mothers getting their hair cuts and the most vulgar, violent, inappropriate movies are playing simuataneously on 3 t.v.‘s in surround sound. I mean some sort of ghetto movie where ever other word was ni%@#r, mother f&*&^#r, bitch, ho, …you get the picture. You would think out of basic respect for women and children these dudes would turn it off until the young kids are out of the shop. I feel bad that they don’t even get it.
