History

Established in 1991.

Founder and owner of Golden Cabinet Medical Healing Center, Dr. Drew Francis has established himself as the première integrative doctor (utilizing both Oriental and Western medicine systems to assess and treat patients) of Los Angeles since 1991. Dr. Francis began his career in medicine and natural healing while studying at the University of Colorado, Boulder. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and began his Master’s study in Oriental Medicine at the California Acupuncture College in 1981. He studied in an international program for doctors at Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He traveled and supported the tennis player John McEnroe from 1985 – 89. He is one of the first Diplomats of Acupuncture to be accredited from the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncturist in May 1985 and obtained his California license in June 1986. He has also graduated from the Institute of Functional Medicine Advanced Training for Functional medicine doctors in 2000.

Dr. Drew Francis, O.M.D., L.Ac., has over twenty-​five years of experience integrating both Eastern and Western medicines to provide the most advanced integrative supportive care. His clinical strengths include state-​of-​the-​art gene testing that reveals each individual’s unique liver detoxification enzymes. Nutritional testing reveals vitamin, mineral, amino acid, essential fatty acid, and antioxidant status; markers of metabolism efficiency; as well as DNA damage; oxidized fats; and toxic elements load. He offers supportive care for any degenerative disease or cancer with his expertise in managing side effects, reducing the risk of recurrence, and establishing lifelong knowledge of how to cultivate radiant health through personally empowering each patient.
