OMG I don’t know where to start, this office is so friendly and super professional. People at this location are pretty much up beat, the Supervisor knows her law and ethics about Taxes. I would highly recommend people to get serviced here. You can’t go wrong, these people would get you the maximum refund. Plus I didn’t have to wait, I got serviced real quick. A+++

«More bang for your buck»
I have been to many tax places and individuals and am hardly satisfied with my returns year after year. This H&R location has surpassed my expectation in my tax refund, I am highly satisfied and will not go elsewhere. From the greeting up front to management everyone is very professional and friendly. Ask for the office manager Carla.

Been coming here for three years. This year, all went smoothly UNTIL H&R told me I was to pay them when I told the preparer to take it OUT of my refund.
Do yourself a favor. Avoid this place like plague and take your business else where. You don’t want incompetent people handling your financials.

I had been using this H&R Block branch for over 12 years… They had been good in the past, but here’s the downfall… When it comes to itemization or any tax return that becomes a bit more complex, they end up being dead in the water.
After getting married to someone who does itemize, and has some more complex things to declare, H&R Block proved, straight-​up, that they really aren’t capable of anything more than simple filing…
It also does not help that the accountant that I had faithfully stayed with for all those years, after becoming ill and postponing our appointment so dangerously close to the tax deadline, was so unwilling to help us with our tax return and wouldn’t even bat an eye over some of our itemized claims (which were legit).
We ended up being forced to file an extension, and ultimately had a far better experience with another CPA that my wife had used in the past.
Moving forward, I think it’s safe to say, «Been nice knowing you, H&R Block… But after twelve years, and the recent lousy service, your time is up.»

Do not trust these incompetent people with your tax documents. For years, I have filed myself using
and everything has worked out like a charm. But one day I was tempted by H&R Block’s second look review so I submitted some old returns. It turns out that this is a «seasonal» office and my documents were transferred to another office after tax season was over.
I tried contacting that office but they didn’t have them. I had to make an appointment with someone at this office so that we could actually get inside this office to look for my documents but nobody showed up!!! When I called corporate they «sent a message to the person who was supposed to come» and to wait until this person called me back to reschedule but two weeks later, nobody has called me to reschedule.

Ok, so I can be a procrastinator… however this year I decided to not procrastinate and get my taxes out of the way early. I am a contractor for various companies, I have numerous deductions every year for equipment and other things I use for my business. Each year I’ve filed my taxes with a private family accountant out of state. However he is a little expensive, so this year since things seemed simpler I decided H and R could handle them.
Things were simpler this year because I only worked for two companies, «unlike the usual 10 or so i work with» and the main company I worked for had already taken all my taxes out of my checks. Usually with all my deductions and operating expenses I owe very little, or I get something back.
So in I strolled into H and R, right off the bat there were a few signs this wasn’t going to work out. It didn’t look like anyone in here knew how to get email, or use any computer other then their work computers. I had a feeling that no matter how hard I tried to explain what I do for a living they wouldn’t understand, and that is very important when your putting in deductions. They seemed helpful enough though, so I sat and waited till it was my turn. Finally I met my preparer, I can honestly say that I didn’t understand 75 percent of what the guy said. I like to think I’m a pretty smart fellow, but I think this guy was just wrapped up in his own brain. Kind of like when you listen to two scientists discuss the logic behind the string theory.
He pretty much refused to follow any of my past returns and insisted on doing it his way. He wouldn’t listen to me on deductions, and tried to find ways to make it look like i was trying to pull something over on him!!!
For instance: I was claiming a second hard drive, and I claimed a hard drive the year before… He said I can’t claim 2 hard drives because the previous one was still deducting slowly over the next 5 years. I said hard drives fill up I have to keep buying them, he said oh «it was like he didn’t get that concept.» Finally I was able to tell him to rename the new hard drive «portable hard drive» and we were able to move on…
It was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had in a long time!!! Unlike other years where money has not come out of my checks this year I paid A LOT in taxes, so I expected to get back a substantial amount. However after 2 hours of listening to him babble to himself in his scattered tax language he informed me I’d owe a large sum of money. I told him I was no longer interested in filing with H and R block, he said «oh I get that response often» and wished me on my way… OMG
I was fuming with frustration at that point. I called up my old accountant and he said I should have just called him… obviously. He gave me a short lecture about how H and R block works, and how they are underpaid for what they do. I gave him all my new tax info and he told me i’d be getting back a good chunk of the money I’d paid… Unbelievable.
