I love a good breakfast burrito and this place has it. If you are a fan of the old Mai’s kitchen on spring street that closed, this would be a great substitute. American breakfast burrito has a great potato to egg ratio, eggs are not too dry or too wet, crispy bacon, onion and cilantro for crunch, spicy salsa inside, not too much cheese and most importantly a really fresh chewy flour tortilla. It’s the perfect size, not a totally gut bomb. I gave this 4 stars because this is the only thing I’ve tried here. Good for cheap morning breakfast before work

I walked by this place yesterday and the sign with photos of Mexican food outside of this hole-in-the-wall made me dip in to see what they offered. It’s actually an Asian-run deli. When I saw that they have breakfast burritos with bacon, eggs, potatoes, cilantro, and cheese, I made sure to try it the very next day. The burrito was tasty and good. The potatoes were cut with the skin left on(which I don’t mind, as it’s a bit healthier and it tastes fine). The only thing is that the burrito was smaller than the typical breakfast burrito you get(especially when you order the same kind of burrito on the Eastside [Boyle Heights/East L.A.], and it was just a $ 4.85, so it was a bit pricey for the size. Still it was good and I would try other things that they offer. I’d give it another half star if I could because the cashier lady was nice and polite.
