I saw Hayden speak as part of a guest lecture group at my daughter’s middle school a few years ago. I was intrigued and interested, introduced myself, grabbed his business card, and kept it in my wallet for about a year. As the time came for my daughter to transition to the behemoth high school from her middle school, I thought it was the right time to reach out to Hayden.
I had gone through a life-​coaching program myself, several years prior, and liked how it was a guided exploration to better outcomes for myself. This is what Hayden does. He’s not a tutor – he’s a coach. Someone who guides our children to identify their wants and desires, shows them how to see themselves in the future and make a map of how to get there.
Teens won’t listen to us (parents) give guidance – they are designed to be defiant! So by giving my teen these sessions with Hayden, there was less resistance because it wasn’t me, and also because it wasn’t Hayden telling her what to do, rather it was Hayden helping her map her path to success.
Turns out my daughter had a fabulous first year in highschool, and I’m getting ready to schedule some end of the year follow-​up sessions with Hayden so she will hopefully see her successes. We’ll also likely do some «touch base» sessions in the new school year.
In addition to what Hayden did for my daughter as part of his regular sessions with her, I appreciated his email overviews of the sessions, the support tools he sent me, and even the cup of tea when I was pulling my hair out and needed someone to chat with!

I had a great coaching session with Hayden less than two weeks ago about my career transition from closing down my business to becoming an employee again. I’m a former coach myself so I recognize when someone is on the ball with their coaching and Hayden’s definitely one of the good ones.
Hayden was great about touching base even before the session to prepare for and remind me of our appointment. His energy was very light, positive, and supportive yet with the ability to challenge and give that extra push to move you into action. Hayden’s clear focus, communication, and the ability to ask the right questions helped access who I need to be, the perspective I need to maintain, and actions I need to continue taking to keep moving forward in my job search. What I really enjoyed about our session was covering each topic and cutting through all the nonsense getting straight to the meat of the conversation and transitioning smoothly into the next topic to cover what we needed within that hour. Talk about efficiency and flow, definitely a thumbs up.
With the overwhelming amount of research, inflow of information, and events I’ve been attending, Hayden helped by helping me apply a simple yet very effective tool to keep myself organized and where I spend my time by having me ask myself what is «useful» and «not useful» in different aspects of my job search. Asking myself this question really helped me target what was really important in helping me progress to the next step.
Just as he did before the session, Hayden was great about following up to ask about my progress the following week and to help me maintain the mindset to keep moving forward.
Whether for an adult or youth, I highly recommend Hayden for coaching to make forward movement in life. As I mentioned before, he’s one of the good ones.

By far the best thing I’ve done for my daughter was having her work with Hayden. Working with Hayden has been an excellent experience, he was always available and accommodating to our crazy schedule, it made completing the academic life coaching sessions fit with our schedule. As for my daughter, working with Hayden has given her the ability to understand how she operates and how that can be used to her advantage to really live a life full of passion and purpose. As for me the benefit of the program was that I know that she now has the tools and resources to take effective action toward her goals, something I wish I had learned at her age. I would, without hesitation, recommend Hayden and his Academic Life Coaching program, you will not disappointed! In the short amount of time Hayden has worked with, he has given me great insight I wish I had earlier. He is an extremely positive person, and wants you to succeed. I hired Hayden as a last resort for my very unmotivated teenage son. I had hired tutors and tried so many different approaches from positive discipline, electronic restrictions, psychiatrists, parenting classes and money bribing. Nothing worked. I feel that Hayden really got to the core of what would actually motivate my son instead of going off of a standardized chart for teen boys. He has a very articulate program that engaged the thought process of my son and made him accountable for his «lack» of action. My son actually was visualizing himself as a success and learning new tools as to how to become what he was envisioning by realizing his passions. I actually love Hayden. He allowed me to see my own child as a person who is going through his own journey instead of just a point of extreme frustration that isn’t meeting my time schedule of achievements. My son showed big improvements once he started with Hayden and after a break from the regular scheduled sessions, I noticed old habits starting to kick in. I realized that my son still needs him. We are absolutely sticking with Hayden because while he isn’t a «tutor» he is a definite champion for your child and will find whatever language your child will hear what he needs to. Also, I feel it’s important to point out that Hayden is extremely punctual and checks in with your child very regularly and builds a bridge of trust, which I feel is very powerful. Life and parenting is a learning curve. it takes a village and I’m glad I have Hayden to lean on.

Hayden is amazing to work with. He was extremely resourceful, attentive, and understanding during our coaching sessions. Not only did he help me launch my career, but he helped provide me the tools to keep me accountable every step of the way. Hayden really went out of his way to keep in touch and follow up and celebrate my accomplishments because he was genuinely vested in me. That was a true testament that he’s really in the business to help people because that’s what he loves doing.
