Hollywood Bowl Shuttle / Sherman Oaks Line 651

Recently used this Hollywood Bowl service. It was well worth the money. You meet in the Westfield Fashion Square behind the Bank of America building. It was a Friday evening and the parking lot was almost empty. Arrived at about 6:15 and the bus was already there idling and picking up customers for its 7:00 p.m. departure. We were one of the first to arrive and had the pick of the seats. The bus driver and the Hollywood Bowl Transit ladies were all very nice and informative. As this was our first time for both this service and the visiting The Bowl we had questions and they were happy to answer them. The girls even comforted our seven year old who chose to stay on the bus while we went to the restroom. He thought that the bus was going to leave without us and got scared. They sat him between them and assured him that they wouldn’t leave without us.
The bus left right on time, with another bus arriving a few minutes before we left. With Friday evening traffic our bus driver coolly maneuvered through the freeway maze and got us to our destination within 15 – 20 minutes. The trip back felt like about 10 minutes. The bus was clean, smooth and efficient. When we arrived one of the attendants boarded the bus and very clearly explained to us how to meet it at its designated area.
The entrance to the lot can be accessed best at the intersection between Riverside and Woodman behind the Bank of America building. The lot is well lit and feels very safe for person and property.
