The coffee is amazing. Not too sweet but perfect. Workers are super friendly. I got the small size but after tasting it I should have gotten a large. I would reccomend the roca loca latte. Amazing !!

Kinda a cool space. Didn’t have trouble finding parking, although it was the middle of a weekday. The service was my main complaint. Woman behind the counter was not friendly, warm, or welcoming. I guess they don’t believe in customer service. I had an americano which was pretty good, but nothing special. The food looked pretty good and its always nice when coffee shops have a food menu. I don’t live in the area and don’t see myself coming back.

This place should get more stars. Always friendly, great coffee, inviting clean space. Not cray like s@bcks. Great in morn for a caffeine jolt, salads or sammies for lunch, or a place to relax before seeing a show in one of their three theaters.

Got a mocha here the other day. The drink was delicious, but the woman behind the counter was very unfriendly and rude. I did not feel welcome here. For this reason, I’ll not be returning.

This place is super close to me so I occasionally pop over to meet someone for coffee and do work. I always enjoy my coffee and snack and there’s always a place to sit. Simple but enjoyable.

Tiffany provides the best service and makes an awesome double espresso :) My wife loves to get away from the house and relax in the café. It’s a great neighborhood hangout with awesome local characters. I love the art and the décor.

I frequent this coffee shop regularly, and always get the best service from Tiffany. She consistently greets me with a smile and remembers my order. The espresso is very good and Tiffany is the very best!

I’m a big fan. I haven’t tried all there is they have to offer, hence my four stars, but if it is as good as their coffee, they would be a five star place. It’s unassuming and I discovered it while waiting for a table at my favorite brunch spot, Eat This, next door. The Alessandro coffee bean they use is phenomenal and tasty. If you are in the theatre district, head over for a java treat.

Good food but the waitress isn’t particularly friendly or helpful. It’s too pricey not to be friendly. First and last visit, I think.

I suspect the only reason their coffee drinks are bearable is because they mask the coffee with creams and flavored syrups. If you must order coffee there(because it’s the apocalypse, and it’s the last remaining source of caffeine to fuel you for the final fight), don’t order it black. Graciously allow them to cloak their sins with sugar, cream, whip, foam, and whatever else they can find. We came on Saturday to kill time before the office at The Complex opened. I ordered a cappuccino, which I really enjoyed, and my friend ordered a black coffee that was so awful, he couldn’t suffer through it. I tasted it, and I agree that I’ve never tasted such a spectacularly crappy cup of coffee. It was lukewarm and watered down. A bowl of brown LA tap water. I’ve had crappy coffee before. It happens. But this coffee was too terrible to try to finish it.(And it was $ 3.) To make matters so much worse, I told the barista, who said that that’s how the brew(Stumptown Hair Raiser, I think) tastes as though the brewing process is not separate and distinct from the beans/blend. They took what could have been perfectly fine beans, added too much water, and served it lukewarm. She didn’t offer to remake the coffee. Instead, she had the nerve to recommend that I buy an espresso shot. Unbelievable. We walked out. We’ll never return.

Really cute place with good coffee. They serve Stump Town. Prices range from $ 2-$ 4:75 for all coffee drinks. The barista we had on Sunday morning was exceptionally unpleasant.

stopped by to kill some time while we waited for a table next door at eat this for brunch. what i drank: — hazelnut coconut latte: it had some snazzy name, but i felt like it was just a hazelnut latte. either too much hazelnut syrup and/or too little coconut syrup. i aws thinking that they used coconut milk for this, but alas, it was just coconut syrup. pros: — loved the quirky décor of this place. loved the random art on the walls(the HUGEBULLS!) — cute random seating, by the window on in comfortable chairs — great place to come by with a book and enjoy some coffee. seemed like a place for the locals — menu had some interesting flavors cons: — not really a great place to study; not too many places to set up a laptop. — smallish would i come again? eh, probably not but only because im not local.

My friends and I got coffees here just to wait for our table at Eat This. I ordered the coffee that had hazelnut and coconut, I think it was something called«Nuts for You» or something. I think I tasted more hazelnut than coconut, but it wasn’t bad. I couldn’t help but admire the décor of this place as it reminded me of a more hip West Elm. The continuity of pea-green ceramics throughout the space was cool and it does feel a little inspiring for me to decorate my own house, not necessarily in pea-green or avocado. It wasn’t too busy here, but for the few that were there, they made for interesting people watching.

Meh — this place is pretty overpriced. I recently bought a chocolate chip cookie before seeing a show. It was $ 2, and I’m 90% sure it was a pepperidge farm chocolate chunk cookie… You can get a whole container of them for about double that price. The coffee is fine, but also pricey. And the employees are pleasant, but seem largely disinterested. The neighborhood also isn’t great… Like hold out your pepper spray as you walk bad. If I’m here for a show, and hungry, or thirsty I’ll probably patronize this little café. But if I have time, I’ll definitely go elsewhere.

The ambiance here is okay. It’s a nice little place. But I can’t figure it out, I went there to do hw but it’s soooo quiet that I also think it’d wouldn’t be a good fit to just hang out there & talk. The baked goods are good! The coffee and tea is okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I will come back:) would like to give it another try. I really enjoy coffee shops. 4 starts because of the window seat !

This place has great lattes! Reminds me of a coffee shop I used go to in college. Artsy vibe and great service. Wasn’t crowded when I visited but great place to catch up with a friend or study. I believe they have wifi and they do have outlets.

Place is ok. Nothing mind blowing about it but it serves it’s purpose. I spent a good amount of time here today working on some stuff and got a BLT(passable) and and Iced Caramel Mocha later when my energy level dipped with my work. Read another review that said the employees weren’t excited to see customers and I got that feeling too from the dude behind the counter. But there was a good amount of people there on this day. Apparently it’s tied into some Comedy Central theater. Maybe that’s why. There were several recognizable bit part actors that you might go crazy trying to remember what small part you remember them from, but you never will. So frustrating. Haha.

More like 3.5– overly priced for coffee, but the food is better(more worth it in my opinion. I got the Right In The Nuts(latte, iced, $ 4.50) and the flavor was good, except it wasnt anything special. All these reviews that say this place’s coffee is good… Well if you like your coffee sweet like a dozen sugar cookies packed in a cup then you’ll agree.(Obviously from this review I don’t.) Charming place though, if you feel like blowing off some money for sugar.

Just had the iced Rocha Mocha and it was INSANE! My girlfriend got the«Right in the Nuts» and I couldn’t decide which was better so we ended up sharing both. The girls working there were totally cool and nice, and I LOVED the fact that it’s not a packed place so you can find seats easily. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars was convenience of parking… Only like 3 metered spots in front. Otherwise you have to find parking on side streets(but it’s not a busy area so it’s not so bad). Overall, AWESOME hidden gem!
