(he doesn’t think he needs to greet and treat everyone fairly so beware of bad vibes if you’ve never been here) chances are they could careless if you come back.
Overrated and overpriced. Pretty sure the salad was frozen. Wilted lettuce. There were only 3 slices of tomato in my salad. They also sell jewelry too — not only does the food stink but the interior is ugly décor — bright and sunny yellow walls poorly imitating/​wishing they were replicating a fancy café in Paris.

I come here often for lunch. It’s safe to say that this is my favorite lunch spot. The deli itself is small and quaint, and it has a lot of character. There’s always relaxing music playing in the background.
As for food, they have everything from hot and cold sandwiches, deliciously healthy wraps, paninis, and salads. The Il Sogno salad with chicken is my absolute favorite! I probably order this salad 95% of the times that I come here. Muffins, cookies, fruits and other snacks are also available. They also carry a wide variety of drinks.
The owner is also very nice. He’s always here and always ready to help you with anything you need.

Very friendly. Good service and lots of interaction with customers. Had the classic chicken salad wrap with salad. Salad was good but wrap was too salty and otherwise bland.

I eat here most workdays and have tried many of the menu items (sandwiches, salads, coffee drinks) and they are all excellent.
The ingredients are always fresh, the orders are on time and the service is exceptional. The menu is imaginative and the owner suggests things based on your preferences.
This is honestly one of the better lunch spots in this part of town.

Fabulous food, and fantastic service. If there’s one thing that this place has, its consistency. I manage an office and every single person, from the Dr I work for, to my front desk staff orders from Il Sogno daily, and pretty much everything we order is fresh and delicious, every time!
Sean the owner is fast and efficient and always seems to know most of his customers by name, which personally I feel is the sign of a great place. He clearly takes pride in the quality of his food and it shows.
The breakfast bagel sandwiches are to die for, and the chili on a rainy day is divine.

I visited this deli today and asked if he sold tortilla chips he didn’t hear what I had said so I repeated my self he said «no» I proceeded to buy a bag of chips instead and as I hurried and grabbed the bag of chips he says to the customers in front of me «I hate customers that speak to low.» and mocked me!!! As I was standing in line I heard what he had said, and I said loudly I heard what you said and he ignored me. 5 minutes in I was still waiting in line while he took his sweet time to explain a sandwich to regular paying customers that probably order there on a daily so probably didn’t need to know how a particular sandwich is made. So I left my bag of chips on the table and left as I was on my lunch break and only had 10 minutes left. I actually had two bag of chips in my hand one of them in which I was going to buy and the other one was open on shelf which I was going to tell him that it might have popped or something so here you go. NEVER EVER will I go here AGAIN and neither will my friends and coworkers. This is not the first time he has been rude and it probably wont be the last time

The foods good if u wanna try something different and are into gluton free stuff and like smaller portion meals.

I love hidden gems and Il Sogno is one! I had a MRI in the Mark Goodson Bldg where this little café is located and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee beckoned.
When I ventured in, I was pleased to discover a well appointed, clean and cheerful spot to sit and sip my coffee with a slice of fresh banana bread. The Hawaiian blend drip coffee blew me away. I didn’t know it could actually be so tasty!
A full menu is offered and everything is freshly cooked. I succumbed to the smell of food being cooked and had one of their potato burritos and my tummy couldn’t be happier. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are super reasonable. I’ll be back!

Delicious food! My office is down the street from here and we always go here to get our lunch. Everything is fresh and delicious. Quick too during the busy lunch hours. We just call in our order and its ready when we walk over. My favorite sandwich is the cracked pepper turkey on a french roll. Also the minestrone is AWESOME too.

Okay, so it has been awhile since I wrote a review for Il Sogno Deli and I am happy to say that I have been a satisfied customer for over two years now. Food is still fresh, wholesome and within a reasonable price range for working folks. I eat at this deli at least twice a week. I also bring my business associates, friends and family for a lunch into this quiet, friendly and cozy atmospheric deli. Feels like you are in a small restaurant in the cote d’azur (south of France) without the attitude. I highly recommend this place for a satisfying healthy lunch. So happy that they are in the neighborhood!

This place is amazing! I work down the street and I eat here a few times a week. The menu selection is balanced and all of the things I have tried so far were appetizing. Soups change daily and all of them are homemade and run out quick. Broccoli Cheddar (nothing like subway lol) and the Ming chicken noodle are my favorite. All of the menu items are truly delicious, and you can’t go wrong with the chicken burger which is so flavorful. The turkey brie and grilled chicken sandwiches are also very very good. Basically everything is tasty and always fresh. You can’t go wrong here! Prices are very reasonable and everything is consistently fresh. They only serve Boars Head (meats and cheeses) that they slice themselves. Sean the owner, is a sweetheart and knows how to make his frequent customers happy. They were out of pecan bars — which are amazing and so are the lemon bars. So Next time I came in, he recalled what happened and gave me a free pecan bar just because! That was a very nice gesture and not something I expected at all!

What a great little deli! My husband and I wanted lunch after a visit inside the Cedar Sinai medical building and this deli is on the first floor of the building. Since the reviews looked good on Unilocal we gave it a try and we were not disappointed! I ordered the Smokehouse Panini with side salad and it was really good. The salad was topped with sun dried tomato, roasted bell peppers, feta and balsamic vinaigrette (all my favorite things). I could have licked the plate! But I didn’t. The panini was crunchy and flavorful. I loved it. My husband kept it simple with a Turkey breast sandwich and a bag of chips. He said the Dijon was a bit heavy but once he thinned it out with a knife it was perfect. With 2 drinks it was under $ 25 which was worth it for good food! I may just tag along for the next doc visit too just so I can eat here again!

The only good thing to look forward to when visiting the hospital is the little gem of a deli/​restaurant on the ground floor of the building. Great food, salads, soup, wraps and coffee!

Always satisfied after leaving this place. Food is delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable. Definitely one of my top choices for a quick breakfast in the area.

Il Sogno Deli is a delicious unintentional hole in the wall.
On a trip that took me near the Cedars Sinai Medical complex I Unilocal-​discovered this small café in an office building.
Food — Sandwiches, soups, salads, coffee and assorted bottled drinks. The Order — chicken teriyaki sandwich on sourdough with small house salad and a bottled drink $ 11.45. Chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy with a little golden brown on the outside. The temperature, very warm. The small salad was the biggest surprise. Sliced Romaine, two varieties of roasted mild peppers, tossed with a balsamic-​like vinaigrette. Served very cold. Delicious! The temperature again, excellent.
Atmosphere — Small 19 seat café with a large window looking out onto San Vicente Blvd. Warm colors, pottery display case, inviting but could use more openness, feels a little cramped. Table flowers looks old despite being artificial. If I were redesigning I would replace the pottery display with a window or even a flowing hanging plant wall highlighted with some lights perhaps. Service was friendly and quick from either manager or owner who took the order, brought it to the table and took away the dirty plates.
Other — access to this deli is confusing. You will see the window with the deli name on it and customers looking out onto the road. However, the door adjacent is not the entrance and does not tell you where to go to get in. Got further south on San Vicente until you see the sliding doors. That’s your entrance.

For a place that has fancy pottery on sale in glass cases and dramatically named dishes that make them out to be a Robertson restaurant they should not be microwaving their «scrambled» eggs, or anything, really. This «deli» with an identity crisis is the only food option in a Cedars-​Sinai medical center building, so maybe make some to-​go options that aren’t hard to eat or put in a box. I tried to get an egg and bacon on a bagel here once while waiting for a doctor, and despite telling them i didn’t want anything else i ended up with gross microwaved eggs with tomato and mayo in a styrofoam box. just go nyc-​style, buddy: we’ll still pay your overpriced rates (we’re a captive audience), but make things plain like a real deli (no fancy names) and wrap them up in paper or foil so patients and medical staff can actually eat them quickly and easily, without plastic knives and forks in their waiting room chairs.

This small, unassuming deli is HUGE on taste and quality. Very fast service and the freshest ingredients. Their paninis are awesome and every soup they make is amazing! They also have great smoothies and espresso. Try the fruit granita mango flavored — and dairy free! Their salads are giant and diverse. You can get a fat pastrami on rye or a turkey avocado on gluten free bread! My fave is the eggplant and goat cheese sandwich. It comes w soup or salad. Don’t let the fact that it’s in an office bldg fool you. This deli is first class all the way!

This place has real good soup! They have a good menu with lots to chose from. Cute little place but it does get really busy during lunch time. But in my opinion it’s worth the wait. All in all a good place to have a nice meal.

Il Sogno Deli is hidden away in an office building, but if you happen to be in the area, it’s worth a visit. The owner is there most days and will give you a recommendation if you’re looking for one. I ordered the Il Sogno Salad (small) with added grilled chicken ($ 8) which was enough for a healthy lunch that day. It came with roasted peppers and soft fresh feta cheese. It was a really good salad! My boyfriend got the tomato soup and half sandwich that came in a beautiful goblet bowl and complemented the other items really nicely.
This place is not just a deli in an office building, it’s a neighborhood lunch spot with a fancy touch. Very good!
