Ben did an excellent job. He was prompt, knowledgable, and took care of all of our TV installation needs. I highly recommend this company.

Ben gave me a great quote over the phone, texted the night before for confirmation, and showed up 10 mins early. He did a great job as well hanging the LCD.

Ben wasted my time. I had to reschedule our initial appointment due to a business emergency, he was rude about the change and insisted that I not reschedule again.
Then, ironically, HE had an emergency and he had decided to reschedule the second appointment… I confirmed a time for the third appointment on the phone and entered it on to my calendar.
When the day of the third appointment came around, he claimed the appointment wasn’t conformed and wanted to reschedule again. I am the managing attorney of a law firm and twice I had to rearrange my work schedule just to have this guy flake on me.
Total waste of time. There are tons of people that provide this service, many with same day service. Find someone else who will actually show up for the job and be professional and polite.

Ben arrived as scheduled and mounted my tv/​sound bar in about 30 min! Fast, efficient and very friendly! Will use this company again.

I recommended them to our company. We hired them to install a few more TVs. Each time, Ben and the team members were on time and professional. Just purchased another TV to use in my office. Will be calling Ben for an install.

I called to get a quote and two hours later my television was wall mounted and ready to go. The price was right, the service was very friendly and all around accommodating. Highly recommended. Nice guys.

I don’t often write reviews on Unilocal,trip advisor or other sites, it’s not that I don’t appreciate great service, I’m just lazy.
I felt compelled to write a review for Ben & Steve at In Home installation after my experience with them today. Bought new 55 inch TV at Costco last night (old one died on me), was told new tv would be delivered between 11am-​3pm today and they would call when they were 1 hour away. I was terrified about what I would do to get the new TV working once the delivery guy left the box in my apartment (I was told the delivery person wouldn’t even unbox it for me).
I found In Home Installation Services on Unilocal last night and thought their reviews were good so I left a voicemail after hours. Ben called me at 8:30am today and said to call him as soon as I had my TV delivery time and he would try his best to fit me in after another appointment so I wouldn’t be without a tv all weekend. I did as he suggested and Ben and Steve headed over from another client appointment.
What we thought would be a 1.5−2 hour appointment was 3.5 hours due the TV being delivered a little late and my old receiver system. Ben and Steve were not only so thorough ensuring everything worked perfectly, cleaning up my crazy cord mess I already had, ensuring I understood how the new TV worked and that I could hop between my other TV items as I have a 5 speaker surround sound system with receiver, an Apple TV, Verizon Fios, wifi and dvd player and they didn’t charge me a penny more than the amount we had agreed upon on our call. Ben spent time with me making sure I understood my new Smart TV’s functionality and they also took away my old 46 inch dead tv to properly dispose of it.
As a single woman, there is no way I would have been able to set up the TV (55 inch is heavy and I’m clueless with set up stuff) on my own, I just didn’t imagine I would have such a great experience having my new TV installed. I would absolutely recommend these guys and use them again.

They quoted me a reasonable price, arrived on time, installed my tv in about 25 minutes, and were very courteous and professional. Couldn’t have asked for better service. I highly recommend these guys.

Wonderful service from start to finish! I called Ben and his team at 8am and they were able to fit me in that same morning to construct a banquette and table. They were thorough and handled my new furniture with care. I enjoyed talking with them while they assembled – very kind, professional and easy going people! Afterwards, they stuck around to clean up and even helped me to make sure that everything in the room was centered. great service! Ben was great. I called on Tuesday for a quote to have my TV wall mount installed. Was quoted $ 100. They came the next day. Ben was on time, installed the wall mount within 15 minutes, and they cleaned up after the job. Thanks guys! highly recommended.

I had a TV installed, they repaired a piece of furniture and got rid of my old media chest. Very professional, quick, and easy communication. You know how you have things around your apartment that need to be fixed but you never get to it? Call these guys and they’ll get it done.

Just had my tv and sound bar installed by Ben and Curtis from this place. Amazing service. They asked all the right questions, were super diligent about their work. I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. They not only install electronics, but they install it all dealing with the home. Thanks again Ben and Cirtis for being so nice and professional. A pleasure to deal with. I called Ben to schedule an appt and ask some questions about the job. He took plenty of time to explain everything and came the next day to hang a 55″ Samsung with my own articulating mount. They called when they were on the way and Ben and Steve were polite and professional. They quickly finished and adjusted everything perfectly. I would use them anytime I needed to hang a TV or my artwork or build shelves or furniture. Great service at a very reasonable price.

Called them last night. Quoted me a price and we set up a time for the next morning. Showed up on time today, mounted my TV in about 35 min and left. Quick and was also very clear when it came to the price, no problems arose. He even patched up my wall because I’m not DIY savvy and I drilled a hole in it. No extra charge, just super nice.

After dealing with the owner Ben’s dishonesty, incompetence, and attitude, I was befuddled as to why they get such glowing reviews. Then I looked closer and found that a large percentage of the 5-​star rave reviewers have written 5 or fewer reviews. I am not saying they are necessarily fake, but after my experience, it seems to be the only thing that makes sense.
When I spoke to Ben on the phone, he told me that installing my tv would be $ 350. Now I know I was an idiot for not looking at the website and not shopping around because that did seem high to me, but I just wanted to get this over with and he could get me in fast. I told him that I wasnt sure if I was going to do surround sound or not. He said it’s $ 350 and then if I decided to do the surround sound it’s $ 30 more per speaker. Later I looked on the site and saw that it should have only cost $ 100 for the tv. I did plug in two speakers, not mounted. He said that cost $ 250 to plug in the two speakers! The whole thing took them 20 minutes. $ 350 for 20 minutes of work. Highway robbery. When I asked him about the $ 250 charge for the two speakers, he totally ignored me. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.
Oh and that is only the beginning. I also asked him to replace a chandelier. After an hour or so, he claimed that either the chandelier was broken or the light switch was broken. I KNEW that was not the case for either one, but he KEPT INSISTING that he did it right, even insinuating that I’m lying because he never saw the light on. He is very passive aggressive and always looking to argue. The reviewer named N.B. really nailed it. His experience was very similar to mine. Anyway, there was a guy in my home I hired to clean my sofa at the same time who saw all of this went down. When Ben left, he took a look at it and got it working in about 3 minutes. How embarrassing for you Ben! This guy doesnt even do this for a living and he immediately figured it out. Of course Ben never admitted that he messed it up.
He also did shoddy work installing a lock for me. He had part of sticking out too far so you couldnt even open the door. I mean wouldnt you check that sort of thing? When you call him out on anything, he’s extremely defensive and wants to argue. Then he’ll come around with some pleasantries but you know it’s not sincere. The kid working with him seemed nice and was fine. I feel sorry for him to have Ben for a boss.

I called Ben and got a quote from him. He was very friendly and specific on the phone. When I called back to make the appointment, he scheduled my installation for the next morning. He and his partner arrived on time and as it turned out, Ben had been here before. My husband hired him to install a television last year!
He and his partner were very friendly, professional and expedient. They installed one new tv, moved another to another room, set up a wireless soundboard and disposed of an old tv; and all this was done for almost $ 100 less than what we would’ve had to pay the installation service provided by the store where we purchased our tv.
I’m very pleased with our installations and from start to finish, Ben was a pleasure to work with.
I’m definitely gonna recommend him to my friends.

These awesome dudes were cordial, professional, fast and punctual. Dan was very attentive and pleasant on the phone as I explained what I wanted to have done with my 55′ LED tv and Sonos Playbar. I pretty much live at work, so my availability is horrendous — but Dan squeezed me in for an appointment the following day without a problem.
The next day, the exact time and price I was originally quoted was honored. I can appreciate this since many places try to up sell or fudge with numbers. The work was top notch. Professional from start to finish. Will use these guys again and refer them to all. Thanks guys!

I’m downgrading my review now to 1-​star. My photos from my botched TV installation were taken down as it was not «broadly representative» of In Home Installation’s business practice (clearly it was reported). They have not offered to resolve a single thing with me other than to fix the unlevel plate. BEWARE. Below is my response to the update:
1. If the holes aren’t pretty, then please do a better job covering the holes. The covers shouldn’t fall off instantly and at least clean the hole so I can’t see how mangled it is through the cover. This is however, one of my smaller concerns.
2. My boyfriend has since leveled it out for me and readjusted to cover the random small holes drilled around it (still WTF?).
3. I don’t care how easy it will be for my landlord to repair the holes. It doesn’t address WHY they’re even there? It’s completely ridiculous to drill multiple holes randomly on my wall that you aren’t going to use and expect my landlord to cover it up?
4. I believe that in order for me to not see the hole, I shouldn’t be paying someone to lower the bracket. The correct answer would have been for the original installer to cut the hole NEAR the bracket or in between. Unfortunately for me, this hole that I had you guys professionally create is 1 foot below my bracket, which is why it currently shows. Why in the world was it ever done this way? It makes absolutely NO SENSE. A simple google image search will show that everyone either creates it within the bracket or as damn close as they can.
And to think, I recommended this business to my friends/​coworkers. I’m so glad my apartment is a rental.

We have used home installation services twice and both times Ben and his team have been friendly and customer service oriented.
During the second visit we had Ben and his crew install & mount 3 tvs, an 80″, 46″, and 32″. The installation and mounting of the tvs was very quick. They even made sure our directtv and Internet were plugged back in. Also, we received a quote from best buy for the same service. Best buy quoted us $ 850 and Ben charged us less than half.
Thanks for the great job. We definitely recommend and would use Home installation services again.
