This was one of my staples in college. The pizza is decent, meaning if you’re not expecting top-tier pizza, then you’ll most likely enjoy this place. the pies are a little on the greasy side(enough to the point where I tend to blot it with napkins), but they’re tasty and cheap enough for medium to large parties. As the restaurant makes most of its orders through delivery, the actual seating area is usually fairly vacant, making this a prime spot if you want to have a place to just your party to watch a game. The happy hour pitcher prices aren’t shabby, either, considering Fat Tire is the same price as Bud Light. If you’re looking for the best pizza in Eagle Rock/Highland Park, your best bet is gonna be one of the establishments on Colorado Blvd. However, if you’re just looking for a nearly deserted place to enjoy a game and have pizza and beer, give this place a try.

Points for any place with pizza by the slice after having grown up in the burbs where such a thing is impossible. But the underpaid employee(yep. Just one guy there during the day) stole my sunglasses. I walked in after realizing I left them on the table. The guy was like«No I haven’t seen them» and he had this look on his face like«you’re rich so go fuck yourself». I blame the owners for not paying enough. Enjoy the glasses my dude. Genuine rayban wayfarers. Enjoy. There are businesses that add to our community, and businesses that take. This is of the latter variety.

The staff had an «I don’t care» attitude. They took forever to make a cheese pizza. And the pizza was tasteless cardboard.

Bad salad, we asked for balsamic vinegar dressing and we got something like cooking oil… bad pizza. Bad meatball spaghetti, I tried one bite of the meatball, feel too disgusting, can’t even swallow it… Just. Don’t Go There!!!

Please sell this pizzeria to someone who cares about food. This crap doesn’t even qualify as pizza. Definitely up for worst pizza in LA.

I’ve been here a few times during college and it’s nice to return. It brings back a lot of memories. Whenever we wanted Italian, but didn’t want to drive too far or not pay a lot for it, we came to Italianos. Although it wasn’t the best Italian food that we’ve tried, it certainly hit the spot. Ambiance/Décor: This place has an identity crisis. There are all these decorations, pictures, that have no relationship here. Things just seem out of place in the dining area. It looks old and outdated. Food: Standard, cheap, quick Italian food. The food is good, but nothing special. If you’re looking for decent Italian food without having to pay too much, Italianos is a good option. We ordered pizza, spaghetti, salad, and fettuccine. It’ll satsify your hungry appetite. Service: I came here with a large group and they were very accommodating. They actually served us catering style. They were nice enough to serve us some extra drinks for our group. Very nice of them.

My friend and I came here on a whim since we wanted to go to Scoops for dessert, and this place just happens to be next door. We shared one of their specials which is 2 slices of pizza + salad or potatoes + a drink for $ 5.99. Not bad. There were only 3 types of pizzas on the display to choose from. I got a slice of the pepperoni & jalapeño. The slices were huge so one slice was enough to fill me up. While paying, the girl at the register asked if we wanted them heated. Huh? Aren’t the pizzas in the display already heated? But we told her yes. And good thing we did, because we later realized the light in the display is merely a light, and not an indicator of heat! Eek! I wish she asked if we wanted the diced potatoes wedges heated as well, because they were in that same lit display as the pizzas, and they were pretty darn cold. :(They also looked very seasoned on the outside, but overall it was really bland, and even worse because they were cold. The service here is also just as cold as the food. The pizza didn’t taste too good either. Definitely better to go with Dominoes or Papa John’s or any other pizza place! Eek! Never again.

If I could rate them at 0 stars I would. If you ever have pizza delivered by them or purchase anything from them make sure to check your bank statement against your receipt. The delivery man came and gave me a receipt for the amount I was told over the phone. When I checked my bank statement the next day I was over-charged $ 3.05, mind you I left a $ 5CASH tip to the delivery man. I have no idea why this happened but I tried to calling the store and asking for a manager but they said they don’t have one. I said ok who is in charge, they said the owner Bidal. I asked to speak with him and they then decided they had a manager after all and it was the man on the phone with me. He was extremely rude and refused to have me speak with the owner. I am going to have to take an alternative route to report them. I noticed I’m not the only person this has happened to. As far as the pizza, it’s like any ol’ pizza except the next morning you will be in pain as your guts seems to hurt badly after eating their pizza. I thought it was a fluke the first time around but it just seems to be the cause of their pizza. DONOTRECOMMENDTHEMATALL.

Italiano’s hates you. They’ll give you funny looks instead of taking their order. After they take your order, they’ll take your money, then spend 10 – 15 minutes making THEMSELVES lunch and laughing before they ever start your sandwich. They’ll throw that together in 30 seconds when you’re already angry enough to walk out. So you can give them your money if you’re desperate or drunk or something. But always remember: Italiano’s hates you.

My pizza arrived 65 minutes after I ordered it and incorrectly. The lady was snide telling me that«we told you it would take an hour» and«we’ll get you your new pizza out in a sec.» The replacement took 60 minutes. The driver likes to sit in his car and honk. I thought going to the York location would yield better than the Fig one and I was kind of right because when I ordered from the Fig location about a month ago, they actually never delivered the pizza to me. When I called them they just put the phone on the counter. I tried to give you guys a second chance, but sorry ladies: NEVER. AGAIN.

The 1 Star is for the worst delivery service I’ve ever had. This is the second time I’ve ordered delivery & yet again it’s taken them nearly 2HOURS to deliver it, when I live only 15 minutes away. I was told it would be 45 minutes — I could have walked there & back by now. If they would have told me to expect that kind of wait I would have. Last time it was stone cold by the time it got here. Unfortunately they’re one of the only pizza places in Highland Park that delivers, I guess that explains their«I really don’t give a fuck» attitude. NOTIMPRESSED. You’re better off picking up from Maximilliano’s. Edit 4÷2÷12: Just found out they OVERCHARGED me too! $ 5 more than it was supposed to be. Can I give them zero stars? UGH.

There pizza here is the same as the other Italiano’s Pizza, pretty f*cken good. This place diserves a higher rating though because it is way cleaner than the other one. Like the other, the pizza is greasy but napkins can help alot to take most of that off. This is a really cool place to come and hang out or just eat like a f*cken animal. There pizza is at a good price for the taste. It’s still kind of dirty and small here but that is because it’s an old place. This place has changed me and my weight after the first time my mom brought it home.

Mixed feelings about their pizza. I ordered the #1, with a Hawaiian slice and a pepperoni. The pizza was good… warm and tasty. I liked it, just not sure if I will return any time soon as it wasn’t memorable. Mom & I went here and I was telling her I had a pizza craving. I ordered the potato side, which was a bit on the heavy side for me. For $ 4.99, it was an OK deal. Not too shabby for a hole in the wall. Mom had the pepperoni, which she said she enjoyed. I am guessing she would give it 3 or 4 stars… Who knows. I really want to give this place more stars, but think it is OK for now. I will increase it if I try their pasta, as their fettucine alfredo looked enticing… and judging from the other reviews, the wings seem delic… Dinner made me super full. I could go to sleep now.

When we order pizza, it’s because we’re being lazy and don’t feel like going out or making anything at home. Italiano’s Pizza gets three stars because it’s just that — OK. The pizza isn’t bad by any stretch of the word, but it’s nothing amazing either. The taste was familiar and same-y, like that of every average run-of-the-mill pizza joint. The whole time I was eating I kept thinking, «I’ve had this pizza before,» even though this was my first experience. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks(the phone lady caught me off guard with her suggestion, I bit), and to put it frankly, don’t waste your time. They were obviously frozen, not cooked all the way, came with ranch instead of marinara sauce and were just unpleasant. The delivery was quick and I’m sure we’ll probably be ordering from them again, but not until we’ve tried other spots in the area.

They have the best pizza i’ve had in a while. super tasty, big and steaming hot! i’ve also eaten at the sit down restaurant next door. after your seated they bring a cute little plate of bread with some tomato in oil and spices. tasting both the bread and oil on its own i was kind of unimpressed, but when i put them together i was surprised at how good it was. and the serves was great. the waiter was a funny dude. another thing that they have is happy hour. i got a HUGE mug of Stella as big as my head for 6 bucks! that and the wings… THEWINGS!

I was house sitting in the area and didn’t want to leave the house in the middle of the movie I was watching… so out of total laziness I Unilocaled up a pizza delivery place in the area and placed an order for a pie and some pasta. The deliver was on time and the pizza was good. I wouldn’t rave about it, but it was a good solid pizza with nothing to really criticize. I was pleased with the service and the price was in line with what I got. They have a pretty good menu, but no website which was a definite drawback since I didn’t really get to see what they had to offer till after I had ordered and they brought a copy of the menu with the order. Get a website people!

This place has a very kick ass combo specials, they are so good I have been coming back quite a bit. I was get the 2 slices of pizza, you can choose from about 4 different types all pretty generic. You also get a choice of salad or side of seasoned potatoes, The salad is really good and a medium drink. You get all that for the low price of 5.99.In addition this place sells some premium beers, what is not to love?
