Ivonne was mentored and trained by some of the best artist at Make Up For Ever and other workshops which has helped her shape and develop her true talent and vision. Her craft and professionalism have built a solid foundation and relationship with her clients. She always continues to learn through different artists and experiences and continues to establish connections in the industry. «I am confident and happy to guarantee the quality of my work and the experience I can provide to everyone that comes to me for each special occasion».

Ivonne lives in Los Angeles, CA but she is a traveling makeup artist and provides her services however it is most convenient for her client. Her makeup services include special events, weddings, fashion shows, proms, photo shoots, special effects, makeup lessons and much more.

Ivonne Alas is a Professional Makeup Artist and has been in the makeup industry for 3 years. Born and raised in El Salvador, Ivonne moved to the United States 11 years ago with the clear plan of working in Corporate America to not only make her parents happy but to make them proud. She graduated with a bachelors’ degree in Marketing from California State University of Northridge. But after a few years of working in that industry and realizing it was not what she was meant to do, she made the decision 3 years ago to make her dream a reality and follow her real passion of Makeup Artistry. «I know that my background is in business and marketing but I didn’t choose makeup, it chose me! There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing my clients’ face after their application. I don’t create beauty I enhance the beauty within you and that is something that I will never get tired of».

Ivonne definitely puts her all when doing your makeup. I usually don’t wear a a lot of make up, but she did her magic and took me out of my comfort zone. She gives you the look you’re asking for, and at the same time gives you her honest opinion on what she thinks will look best. Cant beat that !! :) You should definitely check out her artistry. She’s an amazing, fun, loving person that cares about her passion :)!

Let me start off by saying this review is long overdue. I have been getting my makeup done by Ivonne for a while now and every time is better than the last, she has never disappointed and listens to what I want every time! She also has helped me with tips and tricks for my own makeup routine, she really goes above and beyond from any makeup artist I have used you can tell the difference when someone truly loves what they do (believe me I’ve been through my fair share) she truly cares and makes you feel comfortable through the whole process and she will even come to you! At the comfort of your home or event, and works with your schedule. I’m so glad that I have a great makeup artist that I trust and does a great job time and time again! If you want a good experience plus awesome makeup glam she is the gal to go to!!!

Ivonne is exceptionally talented, and has an eye for bringing out the glamour and beauty in each individual! I have utilized her make up services several times, and let me tell you — she’s worth every penny! Her work is priceless and she’ll make you look better than you have ever looked in your life! She had a lot of great input and ideas, and really just made everything so EASY. My makeup looked flawless and wonderful. She’ll create the look that you request but beyond! One of the main reasons why I go to her is that she will advise you in detail about what goes best with your features and complexion, which I really appreciate. Aside from her making me feel like ‘Yonce, Ivonne cares about her customers and gives great make up tips.

I can honestly say that I am so paranoid about letting someone do my makeup, but I trust Ivonne 100%, she has amazing skills, not only to make me feel beautiful but to teach me technics as she works her magic. My absolute biggest fear as an Asian woman is having someone professionally do my makeup, but when I look in the mirror, I see a concubine. I’m 1,000% happy Ivonne listened to my wants and needs and made me look SO natural. I’ve never been one to wear more than some simple eyeliner, so when Ivonne started to teach me about colors for my skin tone, blending, and the shape of my face, I was very surprised she knew what she was talking about. All in all, Ivonne is super nice (and funny), well educated about makeup, and she LISTENED to me and still made me look ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. She’s also very competitively priced!
Seriously, I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist!

I don’t usually take time to leave reviews. I must leave a review for this artist. have had the pleasure of having this talented woman on my wedding day. I was most shocked when she offered to use my trial for my engagement photo-​shoot. She was professional and timely and I booked here then and there.
She cares about her clients needs and truly loves loves loves what she does. It shows!

My big 25 came up and I was so stressed that I actually forgot I needed my make up done for my huge party! I am so done with going to A mac store because they are always booked and quite frankly I can’t stand being around so many people when I just want to relax and get my make up done. Plus, a trip to the mall is not my cup of tea on a busy Saturday. So I went with Ivonne. She is such a sweetheart and makes you feel comfortable the moment you meet her. She came to the comfort of my own home and was prepared with a whole cart of all kinds of make up and tools. I gave her ideas and she just went with it and made me look amazing! Added a little bit of her touch and just did exactly what I told her. She is great listener and as she’s doing your makeup she will give makeup pointers and suggest what will look good for your type of skin. I am very pleased and if you want a professional that isn’t trying to sell you one brand at the comfort of your own home (or wherever) I totally recommend! Thank you miss Ivonne!

I let Ivonne do whatever she wanted with my face… And I absolutely LOVED what she did. I don’t wear a lot of makeup myself and am not nearly as knowledgeable as she is so I loved the tricks she used with my tiny eyes. :) I never thought I would like glitter but I was really happy with how she used it. I will definitely use her again!
