I’m writing this review while I am actually at the restaurant. it’s awful. too many homeless that stink up the place. I got the burger, and it was all soggy, I didn’t finish it because it had way too much mustard and again soggy. the place is just disgusting. it’s not clean. the beverage section stinks like cigarettes and urine. it is all sticky with soda, and just spilled everywhere. the floors are not clean. the employees look like they hate their lives. they certainly do not want to be there. the homeless are awkward. my mom had to take a picture of a man that was staring. just for safety of he did anything. I do not recommend coming here at any time. there would always be a homeless loitering inside or outside.

The food is Jack in the Crack as much as any other location but the stink inside the restaurant oh homelessness is horifying. The vagrants awaiting outside by the drive thru to ask you for money is uncomfortable. I give one star cause I know they can take it given their prime location and the fact that its friggin Jack in the Box. I dont know that they can do much about the rampant homeless people outside but surely they could do something about making sure the inside doesnt smell so horrid. And the floors are disgusting. Douse your hands in lysol before handling the food they hand you.

I love jack in the box but this location is full of homeless! Every time I go there I get depressed. Last time I went, some homeless were having sex in the restroom !.

This place is an absolute disaster. Not just the homeless that practically live there, but the service is slow and not very hospitable. The cashier handles taking orders and expediting food which slows everything down. You’ll literally be staring at your food in the heat box for a minute before it actually gets to you. Disappointing taste, extremely dirty establishment, the restrooms are so bad they have to lock the doors because I’ve literally seen homeless people camping out in the handicap stall. They have a security guard on duty for no reason because all the homeless do is loiter and they don’t seem to be telling them to leave. I guarantee no matter what time of day you go, you will find a homeless person sleeping inside the restaurant. Don’t go here, I suffer through it more than I should and I’d highly recommend you visiting the McDonald’s on Vine and Delongpre than this place. The poor employees look like they hate their lives. It’s not their fault that they have to deal with the homeless but better steps in management can be taken I think to fix problems like this and their management is total crap. May the force be with you.

Good fast service but too many homeless, transients inside and outside at this establishment. I don’t mind them, but it’s awkward and some of the people reak :(

Usually I wouldn’t bother reviewing a chain restaurant, much less a fast food one. But, I was just so appalled by my experience at this location’s drive thru that I had to. I went on a thursday night at like 1am. Drive thru was empty save for 1 customer ahead of me. I ordered the munchie box. While I was waiting, I saw the employees inside just standing around. Then when the food was ready, the window cashier just gave me the munchie box by itself. I was like uh… can i get a bag? and some ketchup and sauce? Sheesh! I just brushed it off since I was happy to have my food. I come home to find that they gave me the wrong burger. I ordered the hella-peno, they gave me some other cheeseburger. then to top it off, the fries they gave me were so stale and hard to eat. I mean COMEON guys get it together. Jack is my favorite fast food chain, and i’ve NEVER had a bad experience at the many Socal locations I’ve been to late night. LA you continue to impress me.(on opposite day).

The service was fine as was the food — but the problem was so many homeless people asking for money inside the store. It was very hard to eat with so many people asking for cash. The workers here need to stop the solicitation. Because this is ridiculous. Too many homeless inside. Do the drive through is my recommendation.

This place is so convenient. It’s only a block from my apt but going to this place after 7pm is like visiting a homeless shelter. They’re all inside just chilling and stinking up the place. Plus, lots of low lifes hang out there as well. I guess the security guard doesn’t really care and I don’t blame him. He’s probably earning min wage. I apologize cuz I once was homeless and I can relate but there should be rules. Food is good but this place stinks.

I one of those guys that really like Jack in the Box. Especially their breakfasts and yes their cheap tacos. This restaurant has been my regular stop on my way into work for nearly 3 years. I’ve had good service and bad service at this location, but after today I cannot patron this location. Their are a few shift managers that simply do not understand what good service is. They are lethargic at best. But… the guy behind the grill is fantastic, fast and seems to take pride in his work. Some of the servers are also on point. Too bad their work ethic and attitude are not shared by all. The fryer oil is inconsistently changed and that can ruin a french fry or hash-brown. I’ve complained to them before on their online surveys and have even had the manager call me, where she mentioned that she was new to the store and trying to turn it around. That was 6+ months ago. Sorry, but no lasting improvement here. Today, I ordered two tacos and 3 of their croissant donuts(good food, tastes like a churo) at 7:10 am. There was no one in front of me when I walked in and no one waiting on an order. I got my food at 7:20. In that 10 minutes time, the shift manager that took my order was busy cleaning their shake machine and pretty much forgot about me. When she did notice, I think the tacos had been cooked, but not the donuts, because when I arrived at work 2 minutes later(i work right down the street) the tacos were cold and the donuts were hot. This is not the first time I’ve had this type of problem with this location, and some have been worse. Like nasty servers or being served someone else’s food from a canceled order, where the food was so cold, you could tell it had been sitting for a long time. Like I said I like JIB’s food, and this store is convenient to my commute. But I cannot take it anymore and will avoid this place as much as I can, or until my desire to eat a Supreme Croissant outweighs my fear of bad food and service. My guess is that my stomach will win the battle, but the nearby Micky D’s and regrettably Taco Bell, will get more and more of my money.

This place is awesome if your hungry for junk food. I ordered a whopping total of 28 tacos. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy. But, nope. I’m hungry!!!

I ordered a burger and they forgot to put everything but the patty, The cashier took my burger and started putting the lettuce without gloves or washing his hands! I had to ask for a refund, and the lady who gave me my refund was handling the frier and didn’t even wash her hands and went back to putting food in the friers

I understand that working the Drive-thru on a Saturday night in Hollywood must be very frustrating. I can only image how trying it must to serve food to the drunk club kids of Hollywood, and they probably deserve to get treated poorly. Although I wish I was one of them, sadly I was not this Saturday night/Sunday morning. I manage a retail store at the Hollywood & Highland Center and even I myself have to deal with those drunk club kids at my job. I know how taxing it is. So after closing my store at 11:00pm five hours of cleaning the store, putting everything back in its place and getting it ready to open the next day I was tired AND hungry. Working 4pm-4am is exhausting! I agreed to give a co-worker a ride home(since the metro doesn’t run that early I the morning) and we stopped at Jack in the Box on the way. Although I do not expect Maria to know that I am a hard worker just like herself getting off of work, and not a drunk club kid, I still expect the best service she is capable of giving. It had been a long day and my passenger and myself may not have been as clear as we could have been when ordering, due to fatigue. Why when we ordered a large diet coke, did she have to be so rude to say ‘we don’t have that here’? instead of simply admitting she didn’t hear us clearly. And why when I asked for ranch dressing did she say,‘its in the bag’. I then clarified, ‘I know, I would like two more’ Then she threw another in the bag. I said to her, ‘no, two’. She then said, there is already one in the bag. I said ‘I know, I would like 3 total’ Then she said, ‘but you only ordered one order of chicken nuggets.’ At that point I dropped the issue. I didn’t feel the need to explain that I’d like one ranch for each order of tacos as well. All in all she looked and acted like she had been having a crappy night. I too had had a crappy night but since she was the one being paid do be polite at that time I don’t feel she was fulfilling her job duties very well. I will avoid going to this location when in need of food after work from now on.
