Jessica was contracted by our Fortune 500 company to deliver a 90-minute presentation to our select group of professionals who travel for our company over 40 weeks a year. Her charge was to offer advice and tips for«healthy eating on the road». I’m happy to report that Jessica’s presentation and the information she provided us was very good! We have a tough crowd of 40-and-50-something men who have strong opinions about(nearly) everything, but the overall consensus was that even those not predispositioned to look for healthy choices found at least one great tip that they can use to help eat healthier while travelling on business. I happen to be a vegetarian so I found Jessica’s ideas on skewing food to the plant-based side reassuring, while picking up some really good ideas about things I can do as well. For example, I had no idea smoothies were something I could/should be doing as I had a preconceived notion that they all had sugar syrup in them(I have no idea where I got this idea). Jessica did her homework which I really appreciate. She developed a cool little acronym«S.M.A.S.H» as a memory aid to help remind us some of the best options out there(Smoothies-Market-Asian-Starbucks-Hippie), and she even had a hands-on session where she directed all of us to use our iPhones and search for«SMASH» places using Unilocal,Google Maps, Apple Maps, or whatever. Nice! Jessica created a piñata at the end we smashed and found a bunch of healthy snacks inside – even more fun! If you have a need similar to ours, you should consider hiring Jessica to deliver a progressive message about nutrition. Carefully explain your needs and she can customize the message for you as she did for us.
