I used to have a insurance company, that will remain nameless. And after being with them for over three years and seeing no reductions in my car insurance, but yet taking massive pay cuts at work — I decided it was time to shop around.
It’s tough to shop for insurance especially around the holidays, as my insurance was set to expire in January. I received a letter in the mail from them and figured, I would call and at least ask for a quote. Since, my insurance had not gone down in the last three years, I had naively figured that maybe because I had a leased vehicle that I was just that expensive to cover.
I called for quote and spoke to Andrew who very knowledgeable, polite and patient as he answered all 50,000 of my questions… in plain English (which is always a plus for me). He ran the exact same numbers as my former insurance. Honestly, I thought the quote was going to be higher or maybe only a few bucks less. But no, wrong again. The insurance was several hundreds less… like the cost of two Iphones less. It was huge savings for me.
And of course, the savings are going to be different for everyone. I have to applaud their service and patience with me. I would recommend them to everyone. In exactly 35 minutes, I had new car and renters insurance. I’m definitely a happy customer.
