Super nice people! They pressed my gown & sash for USC graduation for free! They did it in 5 minutes too! Wish I was going to be in LA longer so I could start using them as my primary dry cleaners!

I really wanted to love this place but, after 3 chances, I am not coming back for their business. After reading the reviews on Unilocal I drove from considerably far to give these guys a try. I just moved to La and having a reliable dry cleaner is essential. The building isn’t in the most neat condition but I didn’t judge by appearences. After picking up my first set of clothes, I noticed they had given me a wrong shirt once I got home. I called in and thankfully they had my Loro piana there and the week after I went to exchange them. Anyways, mistakes happen… Last week I went to pick up my dry cleaning 1 hour after they said it would be ready and one of the shirts wasn’t ready — they told me to come back the next day. I came back to pick up the missing shirt and they gave me a shirt that wasn’t mine, which I noticed on the spot. They were very close to close so they told me to come back the next day so that they would have time to look for it. I came back, and they said they had lost it, but that they would pay for it. They gave me 20 bucks… Long story short, not worth the multiple commutes I wasted. Should have learned after the first instance. Not worth your time.

Have been looking for a cheap but QUALITY cleaners and so glad to have found it. As a USC student this location is super close and convenient. I work in a suit and hate that its the most expensive piece to dry clean but this establishment offers such great prices. I was able to dry clean 3 suits for only $ 20.
If you pay at drop off you get 10% off from your purchase. They offer 2-​day pick up which is super convenient when you’re on the go at no extra cost. They also have same day for an additional fee. The building may not be so pretty but the quality of work is amazing.
I hate having to go back to the cleaners because they miss a spot on my clothing or something isn’t pressed correctly. Didn’t have to highlight and stains or spots and garments were returned completely clean and free of blemishes.

This place is great. Small, family owned, and super convenient for Usc students. Can’t recommend it enough. Plus you get 10% off when you pay at drop off which is nice.

Cheap, honest, and great. I needed to get a suit dry cleaned as well as getting the suit pants hemmed. And that’s exactly what I got: a dry cleaned suit and hemmed suit pants. Now I look awesome AND clean with my suit. I can finally be a real hitman… Shoot I mean secret agent… Uhh a great looking interviewee.

The services are spectacular and the low prices match. First visit was a graduation gown and suit steamed. Perfect. My second encounter was just as good, dropped off 2 pounds of laundry with a 24 hour turn around time. My most recent was with the on site seamstress for alterations. The woman was wonderful and explained with great detail why the outfit should be taken in at one spot, and not taken in at another. She was spot on and the dress looked beautiful!

Went to Trojan Cleaners first to get my suit jacket’s sleeves hemmed and they wanted 30 bucks + 5 to replace buttons. Went here and they did it for 13 and replaced the buttons for free, and in only 2 days.
Haven’t come here for dry cleaning yet, but I will in the future.

Moving always sucks. But looking for a new legit quality dry cleaner in a new neighborhood that you’re not familiar with is the worst. It’s like pushing your comfort zone to the max: panic creeps in and the fear of «will they ruin my clothes» start to flash in your head like a bright ass neon sign.
Thanks to the awesome Unilocal community that I have come to reply on so much… You guys have done it again. John’s Village Cleaners was friendly, professional and their pricing are reasonable too.
I have driven past this place many times. Thanks to the Unilocaler’s recommendation, I now have found another awesome dry cleaner. Life in the new hood has just got a bit more pleasant.

After many visits, one of my items was damaged. They owned up to the error and compensated me on the spot.

I called every cleaners this morning that offered «same day service» and to my horror they all stated that they DIDN’T or COULDN’T!
Just as I was about to give up, I came across John’s Village Cleaners who was not only pleasant on the phone and asked me to come asap… but even once I got there, the ladies we super nice, helpful and very accommodating! They even cleaned my jacket while I waited!
Although this cleaners is a little out of the way from my home… this is where I will be going from now on! So nice to run into a cleaners that still believes in customer service excellence!

The USC area is full of mom-​and-​pop-​style family owned businesses, and John’s Village Cleaners is no exception. I love supporting local businesses, and these guys do an amazing job with both quality of work and turnaround time. You can bring all of your dry cleaning in the morning and have it done by the time that you’re out of class in the afternoon or off work.
Prices are very, VERY reasonable. You can even check in on Unilocal and they’ll give you a discount!
Definitely will continue to come here in the near future as long as I’m at USC.

By far the best dry cleaning deal you will get around USC. This is where all DPS officers go for the great price. Also if your bill is over $ 20 and you pre-​pay, you save 10%. They do a great job to top it off

I’m am obsessed I got my prom dress tailored here & they were done in less than an hour! It’s cheap and very good quality, I only payed 22 for cleaning and tailoring, you cannot beat that! & the staff is super friendly and helpful!

I stumbled upon this place about a year ago, and have been coming at least 2x a month since. They’re great.
There are probably a lot of excellent mom-​and-​pop dry cleaning places around LA, and this is definitely one of them. They ask you when you need your clothes done by, and can do same-​day cleaning if you come in the morning.
Some of the staff don’t speak perfect English, but there is always someone there who does; I always feel confident they’ll cater to requests. One time I brought in a tie and asked if they could get a spot off it. The man helping me took my tie to the back to check with the cleaners to make sure they could do it. I’d much rather have this, than them take the tie and not be able to clean it, or ruin it trying.
The place might not look like much from the outside, but check it out and you definitely won’t be disappointed.

$ 17.50 for a full hamper of laundry along with a few pieces of dry cleaning. Cleaned and folded in 2 days — I HATE folding laundry. Totally worth it for me.

Location is not that important (you are dropping off and picking up) and they are open when daylight is out so who cares…
Price is cheap compared to other places
The turnaround is awesome” when do you need it by” Next day no problem and no price difference
Will continue to come here and get my clothes cleaned.
Charges under $ 10 or $ 15 i think is a extra .75cents on debit/​credit

For students of USC — though they are a few blocks further away than preferred, but they are totally worth it. Super fast, efficient and cheap!
I’ve tried another cleaner near USC, but no one compares.
