I have been going to Jolie Coup for all my beauty maintenances since 1992. All the ladies that work there are extremely friendly and professional. I work mainly with Mojgan and it has been a pleasure. She’s not only great at her what she does she’s also very respective of my time, which is very important to me. I highly recommend them.

What would I do without Jolie coupe? I don’t know because I have been coming here for over 20 years. Mojgan is the absolute best for anything and everything you may need. I have extremely curly hair and she is an expert with all types of hair, especially curly. She does my haircuts, blowouts, highlights, waxing and Brazilian blowouts. There is no one else I would ever trust with my kind of curly hair. If you can’t get an appointment with her all the other ladies in the shop are so helpful and experts in what they do. I have never had a bad experience here. Also, the prices can’t be beat for the quality of service!
Mariam is the eyebrow expert and and again the price is a steal!

Mojgan, the owner, is an incredibly sweet woman and she gives a really good haircut. I highly recommend her. She’s taken care of three generations of my family, and we love her!

I’m writing this review on masi, she was the best stylist I’ve had and she did my eyebrows as well… Best time I’ve ever had in a salon and I’m making sure that I’m going back to her. Btw she is really sweet and fun to chat with, she is very outstanding.

I recently moved to LA and was finding the prospect of visiting a beauty shop here quite daunting but finally decided to go to Jolie Coupe after reading Unilocal reviews. I had no trouble fixing an appointment with them over the phone, explaining to them that I needed a haircut. They told me that for long hair they would charge $ 40 and for eyebrow threading it would be $ 15.
The next day I went with washed hair, Tara warmly welcomed me and did my eyebrows first. After a minute of threading she then went on to tweeze the rest of my eyebrows. I hadn’t done them in almost 2 months and they were really bushy, and the tweezing was rather painful too. I was disappointed that she mostly tweezed and didn’t thread much though she DID make them neater and bring them to a decent shape when she was done.
Then, after rinsing and conditioning my hair a bit she proceeded with the hair cut. She was really careful, repeatedly asked me if I was comfortable with the length she was cutting off and put me at ease by making polite conversation the entire time. She then set my hair with a blowdryer, for which she didn’t charge anything extra because she said she wanted to show me how my shorter hair could look.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, I tipped her too since she blow dried my hair for free even though she said she usually charges extra for that.

I’m specifically reviewing Tara and her eyebrow threading… mine were a mess when I started going to her, and she had them beautified in no time. She is also super sweet and makes you feel comfortable.

I love Jolie Coupe and nobody told me to write this. Mehri or Mary is the nicest stylist there is and she is really good! She can turn my black hair into nice, non-​orange, awesome looking highlights even if I have dyed it dark recently. She listens, consults, then does the best job. And their prices are very reasonable for getting exactly what you want. Maryam (Mehri’s sister) is also super nice and does great eyebrows. She has also cut hair for people I know and they love her. This salon is non-​pretentious and run by Iranian sisters who are both stylish, sweet and very talented. The parking is a bit problematic in Westwood but plan ahead and park at Border’s or look for street parking and you’ll be good. I give this place 5 stars without hesitation!
