This company is solid. Kat and her crew are prompt, professional and are a true pleasure to work with… especially while dealing with stressful things such as pest, etc. A TRULY AMAZING company and I use them on a regular basis and recommend them whenever someone is in need of pest control.

I called kat’s pest solution with a serious problem with a bee problem we were having at our company. They were able to come out the same day and showed me where the bees were coming from and took care of everything. The price I was quoted from them was great and spot on. Kat’s Pest Control came and did a through job of pest proofing my home. Kat and her son, who live locally in NELA, were honest, friendly, warm, and extremely professional in all their work. I called Kat’s Pest Solutions and she came over quickly and assessed the surroundings of my home and possible entryways for pests. She was very professional and friendly at the same time. She had some great advice and was not pushy! She is thorough and honest too.

My family and I started getting bites on our feet and legs, right away I thought bed bugs. I called Kat. The first thing she asked me was if I have seen any birds nesting, I said not that I know of. Kat completed her inspection of my mattress and room-​no bed bugs. I thought maybe spiders, but Kat wanted to continue inspecting the outside of the house before we discussed the possibilities. As she neared the area of my house where my bedroom is she spotted a nest. She said that’s it you have bird mites. Kat was awesome she educated me on what they were and what I had to do inside to help get rid of them. She removed the nest and treated the outside of the house as well as areas in my room and my kids room. Kat was very helpful and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend Kats Pest Solutions.

Kat and her crew did nothing less than save my sanity. We had a roommate that brought bedbugs in, probably from riding the bus. They started biting the crap out of me, and I’m apparently highly allergic to them. The bites itched so intensely and so deeply, I wanted to rip my skin off! I get bit by everything anyway, but these bites itch like nothing else I’ve ever experienced.
She heat-​treated our house and resprayed his room when he brought them back in AGAIN at a reasonable price. We’re very pleased with her service. She is great to talk to, very reassuring, like a therapist, which I needed, as I really felt like I was losing my mind. I highly recommend her.

I can’t thank Kat & Eddie enough for all their hard work to make my attic rat free! I was coming unglued, having to try and sleep with the scratches/​noises in my walls! Kat came quickly to my rescue and inspected my house. She set traps and then Eddie came out and closed all access places they found (checked my house from top to bottom) and now I’m happy to say I sleep well at night once again.
Both Kat & Eddie know their stuff! They are conscientious and caring; and it was a pleasure having conversations with them. Also, they follow up when they say they will, which means a lot to me.

I can’t find enough superlatives about Kat’s for rodent control. I tried another family-​run business but they kept missing rodent entry points, were always in a rush, and while I paid for a 5 year «guarantee,» that didn’t mean they’d be successful in eliminating the problem. Then I contacted one of the large extermination companies & they did a cursory inspection and said the failed attempts by the first company were enough. Hardly! Then I contacted Kat’s. She is thorough, honest, punctual, personable, and above all, effective. With her relatives Eddie and Yaquib, she persisted and found ways for rodent entry to the house that went undiscovered by the two other companies. We are rodent free at last, thanks to Kat’s.

I realize that I’d failed to leave a review for Kat when I was making a referral to a friend. What a great company. We are in the hills and have been plagued by tree rats for over twenty years. We’ve spent thousands on exterminators with no success. Based on Unilocal reviews I contacted Kat over a year ago. She performed far more extensive work than any of her competitors and now, a year later, our home is still 100% rat free. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Plus she’s an incredibly warm and entertaining person…

I’ve had Kat spray my house a few times already. Its been a year since we last needed her. I love that she is fun and professional all rolled into one. I recommend Miss Kat to everyone. Its always a great experience with her.

Kat was really flexible and super accommodating with my schedule. She was really fun and I felt really comfortable and reassured that she was doing a good job. Her rates are really fair and competitive. I highly recommend her service.

I don’t know where my dad picked up bed bugs but he had an infestation in his bedroom and part of the living room. Was so stressed out until Kat came to the house gave us a bid and gave us instructions on how to prepare for the treatment. Kat and her crew were done in a few hours and picked up after themselves. Not only that but Kat and her crew helped me put some of the living room items away as it was a hot day and they didn’t have to help me. Would recommend Kat to my friends and family for sure. And recommend she change her name to Super Kat. She saved the day

My apt HAD fleas! All thanks to Kat! I’ve been dealing with fleas for a few months and thought I had it under control and gotten rid of them myself cleaning 24 – 7 and using over the counter products. But then, i got another flea bite after a few weeks of being bite free.
At this point I was tired of trying to save money and decided to just pay for professional help! Price was reasonable and Kat was great! She took my call and she was very friendly answering all the questions I had.
She came to my place on time — did what she had to do and now I’m a happy camper! It’s been shy of a week and I’ve been bite free! She’s wonderful and fun to talk to, and does the job! What else can we ask for? Thanks Kat!

Kats pest solutions has been by far the best pest control company I have ever worked with! Kat herself is super friendly and efficient… She explains everything to you and all your options… She rodent proofed my home with her sons and my house has been critter free! I loved this family business. It’s run by a family and they understand wanting to keep your family safe! I can’t thank her and her company enough for their more than efficient work!

We had a serious rat problem at my daughter’s home. The house had been lived in for years by these critters and no matter what we did, they persisted. I called Kathy and met her the next day to assess. We agreed on the procedure, and the cost. And she and Kevin went to work sealing up exterior holes, screening dormers, and setting traps. One by one, the rats were eliminated. Kevin was wonderful. He stuck with it until the last rat was caught. We all celebrated! I highly recommend Kat’s Pest Solutions.

I can’t began to tell you how amazing Kat and her sons are!
I’ve gone through at least 10 companies to solve our rodent issue which we death with over a year and a half. I was very distraught over each one giving me quotes and telling me they would take care of it. But when I asked how, they all told me how they would handle and remedy the rodents with some cheesy quote, like «WE can start today if you pay $ 2000». Some were almost european creepy mafia sort of way to get me to commit. I wanted to report the guy, he was so creepy but he was the one who owned it.
During this time we had Western Exterminator working on it as they set traps and picked for weekly for over a year and they never were able
find the entry, after 1.5 years, they gave up on me. I was devastated. They even brought over the #2 of Southern California Western Exterminator as our situation got escalated. Two head management guys came out in their yellow cars and evaluated our situation and used some new techniques that never worked. So they gave up.
Then a friend referred me to Kat. Kat was professional from the beginning. Already could tell she was different. She asked me all the right questions to locate the entry place no one else was able to find. I was reluctant that the hole she found was the entry but after she sealed the hole, cleaned the attic area and created traps just in case, NOT A SINGLE PEEP. Kat and her sons have been monitoring the house ever since, and not a single dropping!!!
Kat and her sons walked through our house thoroughly and located the point of entry that none of the other 10 companies noticed. She is the true pest control whisperer!!! Wished I had found her sooner!!! I can sleep at night finally.

Kathy has been servicing my house for several years now. I live close to the hills and Kat and/​or her son come monthly to «feed» the rats via bait stations. We had a previous company who just could not figure out how the BIG and nasty rats were getting into the attic and nesting. Well Kat found the small holes in the dormers they had made and sealed them up. She also put out pellets for the ants, after I asked her to not spray chemicals because I didn’t want the bees killed. She did exactly as we wanted, using friendlier stuff.
We recently had another rat infiltration, this time under the house, and Kat came out 3 or 4 times over a few week period to crawl under the house, look for access points, set traps, etc. There was no extra charges!
She found the ways they were getting in, and sealed them up for us. Once again, the pitter-​patter of little feet is gone!
As Lisa E. said, Kat is alot of fun. When she was here last time, she told me how much she loves her job, and shared several fun stories about her two son’s adventures in pest control. She topped the story off by saying one of her sons, after a particularly nasty job, said «Mom, we like helping you, but why couldn’t you have been a baker!» Her sense of humor is reflected well in her truck’s paintings. The cartoon looks just like her, down to the pink streak in her dark hair. And she wears pink gloves on the job. Its great.
Anyhow, if you need a reliable, and honest pest control person, you couldn’t do any better than Kat!
