Kian Karimi, MD

Thank goodness for Dr. Karimi. I had been suffering from the inability to breathe well through my nose for as long as I can remember. I saw a few doctors including ENT specialists and all they did was prescribe nasal sprays which did absolutely nothing. Some didn’t even bother to look into my nose and see what’s going on and the ones that did said I have a slightly deviated septum and that it’s not a big deal. Finally, along came Dr. Karimi who took the time to listen to me carefully and examined my nose with a camera and took a CT of my head. He then diagnosed a severe deviated septun which he showed me on the images. He recommended surgery to correct the problem. I was able to schedule the surgery for the following week. The surgery went very smoothly and recovery was much easier than I thought. Just some congestion for a short time. After about 6 weeks I was finally able to breathe through my nose at night. My snoring stopped and I no longer woke up with a dry mouth. Thank you Dr. Karimi. You gave me a new life.

My consultation was as great as Dr. Karimi. He patiently listened to my concerns and made suggestions that I embraced immediately. His expertise and skills were so evident.
His manner is so warm and welcoming and I am so happy with the protocol we worked out.

First of all this is a beautiful beautiful building. I think it occupies the entire six floor. As soon as you get off elevator your practically right in the office. The facility offers several different services. (It’s’ a one shop stop) They have a audiologists department, ear, nose and throat department, optometrist and medical aethetics department.
The décor is purple, white and black. But, before I go on I went to the restroom and the toilet opened up when I opened the door. (if it was saying welcome.) The sit covers were easy to take out without tearing. I sat on the toilet and it was very warm and it had a bidet which was the best. There were buttons on the side of the wall which you could adjust for comfort on the toilet. Enough about that. But wow…
Cory the coordinator was so nice and sweet. She was like that over the telephone and she has great people skills. Neetha was the Rn who talked to me about several options and was a cute and petite.
Now the Medical Director THE MR. KIAN KARIMI was the coolest of them all. He talked to me about my concerns and suggested what he thinks will work for me. He is super patient and has great bedside manners. He looks good, dressed good and had a wonderful personality. .
And that was just a consultation.

I am so grateful for my DAD for introducing me to Dr. Karimi. His team of nurses and staff are the most patient friendly I have ever experienced. His surgical technique and his care for his patients is equal to none. I couldn’t have asked for better results. I give him my highest recommendations!

Dr. Karimi is one of the most talented Dr.‘s I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient to. He is kind, genuine, professional and always follows up. He’s very smart and is really good at what he does. My recovery has been a breeze because of Dr. Karimi’s surgical technique. One week after surgery I barely had any bruising and felt great. I have been in the healthcare industry for over 15 years and have yet to experience dedication, compassion, intellect and efficiency at a state of the art facility.
I was traveling during the holidays when I had an accident and needed immediate care. Dr. Karimi and his entire practice were a blessing in disguise. I was able to get an appointment the day after I was in the emergency room and was able to have surgery the same day. Key notes: I have never had surgery or undergone anesthesia in my entire life so as you can imagine, I was beyond nervous. My nose was broken and not knowing what would happen, if it could be fixed, what my face would look like– was very emotional for me. Needless to say, those nerves and emotions were eradicated and submerged with confidence and strength.
Dr. Karimi took his time and was patient with me (yes I said patient– because you better bet that most doctors do not have that quality these days). He walked me step-​by-​step about the trauma I faced (shared CT scans, diagrams, etc.) and showed me what his surgery would entail. I have to reiterate AGAIN, that these days; time and patience is something most practices do not commit with their patients. Most doctors, including their staff are just worried about getting the next patient in. Not with Dr. Karimi though. Him and hist staff show compassion for the patient and passion for the work they do. You will feel at home here and not just a number on their surgery list. Trust me– they know all their patients!
Overall, my procedure and all follow-​up visits went well. I am now back home in Washington, DC and breathing really well. The swelling is consistent with the instructions I received and my recovery is on track, as dictated to me by Dr. Karimi.
Lastly, Dr. Karimi has made a commitment to following my progress since I live across the country and is extremely responsive via text or email. Most doctors have their assistant’s do this responding, but you will actually get him! This whole situation may have started off as an accident, and was not elective, but I am confident that I will be breathing better than I have in my entire life.

I was having issues breathing with pain in my throat and I got a referral to Dr. Karimi from a friend of mine. Dealing with Dr.‘s always makes me nervous because I’m scared of what they’re gonna do and I don’t understand it. But he made me feel like I was part of the process, he asked me about my input and how I felt and made me feel really at ease.
He and his staff made me feel as comfortable as possible and helped me through all the procedures and work. He made me feel like a 100 times better just easing my mind. Thank goodness!
I’m so happy, I’m feeling so great and his staff even called and checked up on me and made me feel like they really cared about my well being. I’m glad they could help and hopefully they can help other people too!

Dr. Karimi saved my life! I needed a second opinion from my 1^st dr. and upon meeting with Dr. Karimi, I had so much more confidence in him as my Surgeon. My surgery went so smoothly and recovery was almost non existent because there was barely any pain. They made sure to explained everything thoroughly, answered all my questions pre and post op and checked in with me consistently. The whole process was the easiest and It honestly couldn’t have gotten any better! I was actually second guessing going through a surgery but it was 100% worth it.

I visited Dr. Karimi last week. I needed botox done. It was my first time to him office but I had visited many other doctors’ offices for botox. The office is very elegant, clean and very welcoming and the staff are all very nice and accommodating. I didn’t have to wait long. Dr. Karimi who is a plastic surgeon welcomed me very humbly. In addition to regular facial botox, I also needed some brow lift by the botox injection. Although it was my first time there, he did such a fantastic job, I don’t think I will ever go to anyone else. We also discussed surgery for the eyelids and he made me very comfortable since I saw some of his work.

Dr Karimi is friendly and professional, empathetic and forthright, respectful and thorough. Very successful surgical resolution of my chronic sinusitis.

I came to Dr. Karimi with chronic headaches, within the hr. of my visit and after an on-​site MIR (which was awesome!!, no appointment, no wait time, no more driving around town) I had a diagnose, this meant I needed a Septoplasty, Bilateral Turbinate Reduction with Radiofrequency Coblation and Left Excision Concha Bullosa (that’s a month full).
After, putting it off for a few months due to my lack of credibility on how I would look or feel after surgery, I did it…
I’m going to be totally fair with this review. It’s not only Dr. Karimi; it’s his staff, nurses, and nurse’s aids and every person I interacted the day of my surgery. Not only did they give me a sense of comfort but reassurance that all will be well.
Dr. Karimi promised no one will realize you had surgery and no extra discomfort besides the normal. He not only delivered but my family and friends were amazed of the incredible recovery I had. Within the next 3 days I was giving a conference to 20 people and none knew I had surgery.
I’m not only grateful to Dr. karimi for such an amazing job but admire his dedication. This has lead him to not only take care of his patient’s physical needs but their spirit and soul. Thank you

Not only has Dr. Karimi been the best doctor I’ve ever seen for my ENT issues (vertigo), but his cosmetic procedures are the best as well, and admittedly– I’ve seen MANY cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists in Los Angeles, and worked with quite a few as well. He’s the first person I recommend all my own clients to for cosmetic procedures, and he’s honest about the results.
I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving by Dr. Karimi, and his lovely assistant was there the entire time, offering me bottled water, giving me ibuprofen (I mentioned I tend to get headaches), answering my questions, and distracting me from my pain using various techniques such as stress balls, and vibration over the injection site, though the gorgeous view in the high rise location on Wilshire was enough to make me feel at ease. I’ve never had a doctor so sincerely concerned about my comfort as Dr. Karimi.
His disposition and attention to detail put you at ease– he is incredibly warm, enjoys explaining procedures, and even invites his patients back for a 2 week follow-​up if they are not completely happy with the outcome of their Botox or injectables. Most importantly, his results are the absolute best. I no longer have vertigo, and my face looks amazing.
The décor and music are lovely as well. I could totally just hang out here. Yes, I could totally hang out at a doctor’s office. It’s that nice, and the staff are that welcoming and skilled.
If you want to be treated like you’re the most important person in the world by a doctor and his staff from beginning to end, have the best care and results possible, and never felt «sold» on any product or procedure, you cannot make a better decision that Dr. Karimi. Additionally, his rates are completely reasonable even though the experience is very luxuriously Brentwood.
Dr. Karimi walked me out himself, and was genuinely appreciative to see me.
If you give yourself extra time to find parking and don’t mind a short walk, you can park for free in the neighborhood, though they do offer private parking on site for an expected cost.

Dr. Karimi performed a tonsillectomy & uvulectomy on me in April 2014. I had been through several other doctors before seeing Dr. Karimi, and from my first appointment, I was very impressed. Not only was he nice & friendly, he clearly laid out all of my options, and the pros & cons about each one. I left my first appointment feeling more informed than ever before, and finally had some optimism. Due to a recurring case of tonsillitis, the voluntary tonsillectomy I had been considering turned into a mandatory, ASAP, procedure. Though recovery as an adult from the procedures is no cake walk, it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I haven’t snored literally since the day of my surgery (I have snored my whole life), and my quality of life, in general, is better now. Almost 6 months later, I’m still getting used to a «new normal», in terms of how I swallow and how my palate feels, but Dr. Karimi has assured me this is normal.
Just to speak for Dr. Karimi’s «craft», if you will… I went to the dentist for the first time since the surgery a few weeks ago, and my hygienist said everything was as neat & clean as she’s ever seen… she was very impressed.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Karimi to friends and family!

I have known Kian for a few years. He’s a really nice guy and fun to hang out with. He is also very knowledgeable and professional, so when I considered tweaking something, I chose Kian. He was very caring and aimed to satisfy by asking questions and conducting a thorough consultation. Though I was a bit nervous and felt a bit light-​headed (not as a result of the service, more from just being a first-​timer) and him and his staff took very good care of me. The results are beautiful. :)
