This place is okay for certain things. If you get sick and it’s not a emergency room level type thing, this place is cool. A lot of times they can see you the same day. You might have to wait a little but that’s still better than trying to get an appointment. It use to be $ 35 a visit but now cost $ 40 per, which seems a little high.
Doctor sees you, you get a diagnosis and prescription and you’re on your way.

It’s been over a week and still haven’t heard back regarding my results. I called several times and both receptionists would tell me that the doctor is very busy and hasn’t had a chance to review my results. When asked if it could be a month later that I would be receiving a call regarding my results, the fluent English speaking receptionist responded, «Oh, I’m not sure.» If this was the case, I would have gone to a diagnostics center without going to see a doctor. I paid for the doctor to translate the results to me. This is ridiculous!

I usually do restaurants but since I’ll write one for this place. I don’t know if it’s a Korean thing but even if we’re SUPER sick… koreans just don’t go to the doctors… (although they push their kids to BECOME doctors) haha so I didn’t know what to do when my flu hit me like a hurricane and wasn’t able to get out of bed for two days.
I’ve been here about 5 years ago but I guess they throw out all files after 5 years so I had to make a new one. I called and went around 3p.m. the wait wasn’t long and the paper work was minimal. First visit is $ 50 which is a lot less than other hospitals and when I got the prescription the nurse actually looked for a pharmacy that sells the antibiotics for cheap. Doesn’t hurt to save money right?
The nurses there were fairly young and spoke fluent english and they were very friendly. The other older ladies… not so much but what do you expect, they must go through hundreds sick people.
They also offered a free pap and std testing… but I just wanted to get out of there and go back to bed. If you need to see a doctor I’d recommend this place… it’s not TOO expensive and they offer lot of services you can get at a bigger hospital.

I am a patient of this clinic already 2 years. Every time i have problems. Receptions have a language barriers, their English is very bad. Also Family planning counselor TAI is how rude to patients. NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THAT CLINIC, I WON’T RECOMMEND TO SOME ONE.

I’ve been to a lot of hospitals and this hospital was the only hospital that got the job done fast. The staff are very sweet and very patient. And if I need a referral they make sure to contact the hospital and the insurance company for me so that I don’t have to wait too long for processing.

Everyone was courtious and professional. I was eligible for the familyPACT program and didn’t have to pay to see the doctor. I was out within 45min without an appt.

I’ve been vomiting after eating a meal at least once or twice a day for the last month, and finally decided to come see an doctor at this koryo health foundation. I called to make an appointment and asked what the cost would be because I don’t have an insurance. Without any parental support at a young age, its very difficult to afford my own living which delayed me from visiting an doctor earlier. Anyways, I got to this place signed and wrote my info on couple paper and got myself an koryo id card and was seated till the nurse called me in. After I heard my name I got inside and the nurse first took my arm and took my blood pressure. Everythinf was norma then she asked what’s the reason I’m seeing the doctor. I explained to her in details and she wrote some notes then told me to wait outside for the doctor. I explained the samething over again to the doctor and he just replied by saying throwing up for a month is not mormal. (of course) he asked me to lay down on the bed and tapped parts of my belly asking me if it hurts and I said no. That was IT. Sat back down on the chair and he said he’ll prescribe me a medicine and hopefully ill get better and if I don’t come back for a blood test for $ 100+$ 30(each visit). He just handed me a piece of paper for me to take to the pharmacy and walked out of the office and the nurse said you have to pay me here. Ended up paying $ 50… for nothing. As I was walking out. I thought about how ridiculous this doctors visit was and asked the front counter where they had a nurse+2 accountants what the purpose of this visit was. They gave me the most dumbfoundead look telling me that I can’t ask those kind of questions there and go to. the nurse if I have any questions. How rude to a patient… However I took the paper and went to the pharmacy nearby and she said I can just buy the medicine outside it doesn’t even need prescription. found the medicine and it says its for heartburn??? Regardless since I was asked to take the medicine I did and till this very moment, I am still vomiting after each meal and planning on going to see a BETTER and more caring doctor this time.
