This place is the church of my breakfast religion. Simple, cheap, amazing homestyle food. A diamond in the rough.

This place is opened until 3PM, their main business primarily being operated for lunch time diners. This place can get quite pricey to dine for lunch, so we eat here only once a week. It is conveniently located close to my work, so love the location of it. This restaurant is located in a plaza where you MUST valet($ 2), which is pretty lame because it seems pretty unnecessary to me. But it is what it is. It’s nothing fancy, just a regular sandwich shop run like a mom&pop shop. The restaurant seems a little old and plain, but clean and well maintained. I really like the food here, everything is simple but good. They sell breakfast food, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, and salad – pretty much the whole lunch shebang. I usually get the spaghetti with marinara sauce(sometimes the chipotle marinara which really has a kick to it~) and my friend gets the BBQ chicken pizza. Our menu rarely changes, which means we haven’t explored the menu that well and that we really enjoy whatever we get! The service is quick. The servers there are friendly enough, and they get the job done. Just a random side note: If you’re scared of cops, don’t come here – there are always a bunch of them who always dine here for lunch. I’m not a criminal and I’m not scared so I will continue to dine here!

Our office used to order Friday lunch from LA Best Deli. We love the salads there. However they over charged my credit card 3 times. Someone works there filled tips like $ 1 or $ 2 on my credit card-when I looked at my statement I always wonder why the total were different. The first time I just let it go because it’s only $ 1. The third time was extra $ 2. I wasn’t happy about that — I told the cashier that someone filled out tips without authorization – they denied it. Not going back – that’s kind of stealing(even just a couple bucks)

Best club sandwich and fries ever! Great customer service friendly staff. Highly recommend! I will be going back here.

The place is a on point if you’re working in the warehouse area of downtown and are looking for simple, tasty food. In the morning, pretty much the entire LAPD squad is here along with all of the construction workers from the area — they’re regulars and they want bang for their buck, so I take it as a good sign. I got the breakfast burrito: lots of cheese, sausage, bacon, hash browns, egg. The quality of ingredients aren’t all top shelf. Especially the sausage. But the service was great. I’d give it 3.5 stars, but I’ll round up to 4.

Have eaten here several times. Food is good as usual but ownership has changed hands. Service is still good but the owner refuses to use the air conditioning. Very hot and uncomfortable for both customers and workers.

Excellent place for good food! I love love this place from their friendly staff to their healthy and very tasty choice of menu! I would eat here 3x a day if I could afford it! It’s definitely a place to try!!! Highly recommend you won’t be disapponted.

Clean establishment and friendly staff couldn’t make up for the driest chicken cesar wrap I’ve ever had, the chicken was reheated left overs, the mango avocado salad was pretty good, over all over priced food.

I love the omelet in the morning; they are kind enough to let me have rice with it. I get the grilled salmon, with veggies and fries for lunch. I’ve had a couple of pasta dishes as well that were surprisingly satisfying considering it’s not an Italian restaurant. Consistently superb if you ask me. It looks like a greasy spoon type place but it’s a few steps better than that. The ingredients are fresh, portions generous and fairly priced. I always end up full and happy. I only leave one star cause I’m a foodie and I believe everyone has room for improvement.

The coffee and food is delicious. I would suggest stopping in and giving the place a try for yourself. I love a good cup of coffee and a great meal. This is one place you can get that.

I’ve been coming here for years. I love the eggs Benedict, steak and eggs and of course the French toast. Don’t forget to get the best hot chocolate in the world.

Delicious food! Great HUGE sandwiches, and don’t get me started on their Pizzas. I get the LA Pizza that comes with avocado! You can’t go wrong with their BBQ one either. They have very friendly waitresses. The only CON is the parking. I call in my order to avoid the hassle of parking there.

LA’s Best Deli & Café is just okay. I doubt anyone travels to eat there, but if you live or work locally, it’s one of the few walkable options to grab breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The pricing is about what you would expect from Denny’s or something and, again, the food’s just okay. I work locally, so I typically opt for other lunch options. The staff’s pretty friendly, so that’s a plus. I’ve tried different things at LA’s Best: omelettes, corned beef hash and eggs, chicken quesadilla, breakfast burrito, pancakes, burgers, chicken tortilla soup, etc.

Love this Place So much, they have almost everything from Breakfast, sandwich, Hamburger, Salad, Soup, Pasta, Pizza, Teriyaki Chicken, and more. They use plenty of fresh quality foods. They put way too much meats on all entrees, too generous about food. Love the owner and all the employees there, very friendly. I became a regular recently, and come this place almost 3 – 4 times per week. You all gotta try here!

Seriously, I have been here 4 times in a row with my co workers. I just forget to check in sometimes. We go here a lot because the food is good and it is close to our work. There really isn’t anything«bad» to say about this place. You see a lot of other regulars come here, too, which means this restaurant is doing something right. I have gotten the eggs benedict here as well as the veggie sandwich and they are amazing! The waitress is always so nice when we come and does her best to make us all feel«at home.» My co workers are in love with: –Chicken tortilla soup(my coworker has gotten this the last 4 times) — Roast beef sandwich(This is so big, you have to take the other half to go) — Breakfast platter(Looks filling and delicious) — Tuna Sandwich(Tuna stuffed to the max) — Chicken Teriyaki — Mushroom burger — Breakfast Burrito(Thang is huge!) — Bagel and lox(my boss gave it a two thumbs up) — Italian Salad(plentiful) — BBQ Chicken Salad(You won’t be able to finish it) I never see this place get crowded so seating is always available. Everything that you get here is good. Place is clean, too! Parking: VALET during the days(it’s free, but still gotta tip)

Ok so first time here since I work near the area and the menu is pretty big. Before coming here I was having the urge for a good sandwich and after arriving here and seeing the variety on the menu I decided to do breakfast. Breakfast all day, sandwiches, pasta, wraps, pizza. Many varieties of what you may want to eat. So I had the breakfast and it was nothing out of the ordinary, good, and nice proportions. The service was great and the atmosphere ok. Overall for this visit I’ll just say it was good and I’ll be back to try something else.

Good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Sandwiches are very good, tried some breakfast dishes and found them enjoyable. Pricing is reasonable, not cheap but not expensive. Parking is a little strange, as you will probably have to valet your car even if you are ordering to-go. Valet is only $ 1 though, so no big deal. Come here for lunch
