I keep thinking how I should begin this review. Words cannot express how grateful I am for someone like Gabriel to help my 13-​year-​old daughter navigate a legal system that is so completely disgusting and corrupt. He put his heart and soul into this case and by the time he was done prepping me for trial, I was confident and as relaxed as one can be. He helped my scared little girl get up on the stand. Her well being was truly more important than case strategy!
I will be forever grateful and remain a fan!

Reviews are right. Gabriel advised me on how to fight my ticket but also told me that hiring a lawyer would not be cost effective as there was a no points ticket. He gave me some advice and sent me on my way. Very nice of him!

Ok, my case is almost over but I wanted to leave my review now. Gabriel has been courteous and helpful through out my entire case. I havent felt like I was just a «client» or number. I feel like a priority. Im actually surprised he has the type of relationships with his clients because that he does, I feel like im his main client which keeps my mind at ease… even if im not.
Also, I had an unrelated legal issue that he was unable to represent me in (not his fault) but he still gave me guidance and advice to make the right decisions moving forward.

I hired Gabriel because my friends and I got a ticket that resulted in a misdemeanor and possible loss of our licences. As soon as we talked to him he knew exactly what action to take to prevent any consequences and he was very informative about the whole process. I’m not hiring Gabriel but let me explain why. I’m young. I screwed up, drove too fast and had no clue what to do. I called Gabriel because of his great reviews on Unilocal and he talked me out of using him. But that’s because I don’t really need him. Because of how cut and dry and simple my case is he just guided me in how to go about fighting it on my own in the right way.
He could have EASILY been a stereotypical cliché scummy lawyer and charged me hundreds because of how naïve I am but instead he spent time on the phone with me giving free advice he could easily charge for. His honesty caused him to be my go-​to guy if I ever am in real trouble (lets hope not though). AND if anyone ever asks, he’s the first name and number I will recommend. THAT’S good business.

Gabriel is a fountain of information, and a kind soul. He has provided me with priceless advice, and council that kept me from making many wrong turns down the twisted highway that is traffic law.
He is always honest, even when honest means he gets no money out of it. He is also very fast about getting back to his clients. I trust Gabriel, and I am very grateful for his advice, and council. I have worked with other lawyers in the past, but none this open, and honest. I have already highly recommended him to a family member, and will continue to do so!

I’ve had the unfortunate experience of working with lawyers before, and I just have to say if they’re all like Gabriel this world would be a better place. Clearly this is a man who is not only good at his job but also cares about this thing called customer service, even if there is little chance I would need his services again. That’s awesome. My situation is as follows:
PGA (Pre-​Gabriel Avina): speeding ticket, from out of town, missed court date. faced a huge fine, plus bail, plus plane ticket out /​hotel to LA to contest in person, stressed.
AGA: Gabriel calmly explained the process, priced reasonably, drove over an hour to the courthouse (twice!), fought the judge, got my case dismissed, took care of all financial transactions with the court, kept me regularly informed, walked elderly women across the street, and saved some abandoned puppies (the last two may or may not have happened).
Is it okay to have a man-​crush on a lawyer? If so, this man is it!

Mr. Avina is by far one of the best lawyers in the city. He has helped me on multiple traffic tickets, winning or breaking even on every one. His advice is real, to the point, and accurate. He’s very available, which I can’t say about most people in LA, lawyer or not. If you want the job done right, talk to Gabe. And, if you’re lucky, he might just show up on one of his vintage Moto Guzzi’s to represent you at court. Thank you Gabe for your excellent advice and saving me a ton of money and stress when it comes to any law related circumstance.

Although I did not end up using Gabriel. He was so kind to explain all my options I had for my ticket. He was super honest, and said I did not need to use him for this exact ticket. You don’t meet to many people like that. Thank you so much for everything Gabriel.

Got a speeding ticket on the I5 near Anaheim, to my defense, it’s a section of freeway where even the flow of traffic on the far right lane will excess posted speed limit, and it’s night time the traffic is very light and I’m very sure I’m not putting anyone in danger.
I had been driving for ten years and know exactly how to fight a ticket in court. However, the only problem is I live in SF bay, so it’s not efficient for me to come down to LA to appear in court. So I start to look for traffic attorney on Unilocal.After some filtering and screening I believed Law Offices of Gabriel H Avina is my best bet, I call him over the phone and ask for a quote, he carefully explain how much he charge, actions he is going to take and what are the options. Unfortunately the quote from Gabriel is $ 200 north of my budget, so I decide to fight the ticket myself. Even after knowing he won’t be getting my business, he still take his time to explain to me what I should do to increase my chance of wining. I really appreciate his free advice, although I hope I won’t need his service in the future, but it’s great that there’s an attorney that I can trust in case anything happened.

It was for a employer/​employee related case for a friend that had to do with ambulance and hospital bills and workers comp and it started me in the right direction for what I should do next. Won both my of cases… I received citations in Santa Monica and SFV. He is a bit pricey but worth it. You get what you pay for.
I would recommend him to anyone who needs to fight a traffic ticket. I’ll never plead guilty again!

My ticket was dismissed!
I called Mr. Avina after I received a using cell phone while driving ticket. Before I hired Mr. Avino he personally took the time to explain the process and possible scenarios. Once I hired Mr. Avino he followed the exact plan he explained and today my ticket was completely dismissed! I will not hesitate to call Mr. Avina if I ever need advice or representation in the future.
