If you want to avoid the wait of any decent restaurants around this neighborhood on a Saturday afternoon, this is definitely the spot. It’s very private n any patron here would feel like a VIP. Menu is a bit limited but I am pretty sure you could get something else off menu as long as they can accommodate. The food was amazing. My prosciutto panini was crunchy and flavorful with some refreshing salad on the side. Amibience: very hip n trendy decorated with some interesting art pieces to feed the visual appetite. Besides tables, there are also some cabanas to lounge in. It was empty and probably not well known yet since it was situated right behind salon Prive. Thus, great hang out spot if you r seeking for some privacy.

On his website, he describes the place as «LA’s best kept secret.» That’s no joke. It’s hard to find this place. It’s located behind a salon that his wife owns. The owner is a Frenchman who moved to LA from, where else, but Saint-Tropez. He is very sweet and attentive. He is both the waiter and the chef — so expect to enjoy a leisurely meal. The food is great. Try a crêpe — delicious. The atmosphere and décor is beautiful. It’s incredibly peaceful. I highly suggest this place for brunch. Now for the downside — the hours are usually from 10am — 7pm, but honestly you never know. I might suggest calling the salon ahead of time to find out if it’s open(323) 931‑5559. I’ve gone twice and had it close for one reason or another. It’s hard when you have such a small business.
