The Levantine Cultural Center is a café, gallery and performance art space that is the only place in Los Angeles where you can regularly find world music concerts of Middle Eastern and North African music, as well as movie screenings, poets, writers, comedians, exhibits, and lectures on Middle Eastern/North African history, politics and society.
History
Established in 2001.
Levantine Cultural Center champions a greater understanding of the Middle East and North Africa by presenting artistic and educational programs that bridge political and religious divides. This year we are celebrating our 12th anniversary as an institution.
