Light Up Video

Garret did a really great job on our wedding teaser for our wedding last December. We were so happy with how fantastic our video turned out and couldn’t ask for more. I love how they are reasonably priced, and the quality of their work is more than double of what they charged you for. We will surely watch our wedding teaser 10,000 more times and will definitely recommend Light Up to anyone looking for a wedding videographer :)

We hired Stephen to shoot our wedding recently and were very happy with the finished product. He did a great job and was very reasonably priced.
He worked really well with our still photographer and was very flexible as we went from the church to the picture shoot afterwards and at the reception venue as well.
We highly recommend using them for any events.

Like many other couples, we were not planning on getting a videographer for our wedding — we thought photos would suffice. At the urge of our married friends and family, we began researching videographers and I was lucky enough to find Dave. His prices are amazing, and his work even more so. He was there on time, was so patient, and captured all the details of our day. We received our teaser within just a week, and our full feature film in less than a month — both are absolutely incredible! Your wedding passes in a blur, and I’m so excited we get to relive the day through our video. We’ve shared the video with our family and friends, and everyone comments on how gorgeous it is, and most comment (a bit bashfully) that they cried :) I can’t help but smile when I watch the videos, and am so happy we have them to remember our day!

Dave and his assistant produced one of the best wedding videos we have ever seen! I know that sounds biased coming from the Bride and Groom, but that’s what our guests keep telling us!
The quality of the video was beyond what we imagined we were going to get! Dave is a true master of his craft and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending him to anyone that is looking for a videographer. He was also able to provide us with the teaser video while we were on our honeymoon, which was right after the wedding.

word of advice. MAKE SURE you hire a videographer for your wedding! My then fiancé and I were on the fence about hiring a videographer. Should we or shouldn’t we? Every couple that got married always say they regret not having one, bc looking back at pictures doesn’t give you the same memories as watching a video.
With my friends regrets, I immediately started my search for a videographer. Coming across more than a handful, I was at a point where I didn’t think they would be in my budget, given that most are well over $ 2k. BUT, I then came across Light Up Video with the recommendation of a friend and hired them right on the spot. Amazing videos and great prices!!!
Our videographer, Stephen was absolutely great to work with. He was calm and very easy going. I didn’t think that having 1 videographer would be able to capture my entire wedding the way he did, but as soon as he mailed us 5 copies, YES 5, we immediately watched it. It was just as I remembered it. We cried and laughed so much, I felt like I was reliving our moment.
The best money spent! Plus when we start a family, we can always show our kiddos our video, too!

Cannot thank Dave and his assistant enough for giving us all the beautiful visual memories of our daughter’s wedding. He was so professional and very easy to work with. Weddings can be hectic and we have to trust that the vendors will do what they say and catch those moments. Dave fulfilled all those moments. Highly recommend him to anyone !!!

I just received my wedding teaser literally 4 days after my wedding and it is BEAUTIFUL. Quick turn around and I truly feel like he captured my husband and I and our relationship. And honestly half the time I forgot her was there! He just was doing his thing in the background somehow capturing every special moment of our day. THANK YOU DAVE YOU ROCK!

Dave is great. He recently filmed my sister’s wedding where I was a bridesmaid (I booked him and kept remained in contact with him until the wedding day; he kept his word), and I was genuinely impressed with him and his assistant. He showed up on time and ready to go. He really loves his craft. You can tell that he knows what he’s doing. We had a two day wedding, and he remained extremely professional the whole time.
First day, he showed up and filmed us getting ready. He worked extremely well with our photographer and they were the ultimate duo coming up with ideas for us to do. He even followed us to our shoot post-​ceremony just to film is taking pictures. This wasn’t in our contract, but again, the man loves his craft.
Second day, he shows up on time to the wedding hall reception and same thing, was on top of it. Extremely professional and was always there when something «cool» happened. He and the photographer worked together and were running around quite a bit.
His demeanor is awesome; smiles when he needs to, but most of the time very «cool» and just laid back. Doesn’t make you feel pressured and remains in the background for the most part. I forgot he was there unless he was asking us to do something to make the videos look good.
Still waiting to see the actual filming, but he himself is great. Will update once we receive the footage. I shopped around before him and his price is extremely affordable and reasonable. You don’t have to compromise quality for price when it comes to Dave.
Update:
We just got our video today! Insanely good quality. Looks like a Hollywood movie. He really captured the best moments of the wedding and we are extremely satisfied with the results. The whole family came out and had a movie night– we were just smiling ear to ear. Definitely worth the bucks.

Dave is so awesome. I can’t tell you how many rave compliments we’ve gotten on our wedding video. It is so beautiful and truly captured the essence of our big day. It’s shot like a film and we were both so incredibly happy with the outcome, and his prices cannot be beat. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I am a big fan of Unilocal,which is how I found Light Up Video in the first place. BELIEVE THE HYPE, Dave is the real deal. The only reason I wanted to hire a videographer was to document my wedding for my grandparents who wouldn’t be able to fly out and after seeing Dave’s videos for my wedding I’m so glad that I did!

Responsiveness — As a stressed out bride trying to get a hold of vendors, Dave is a dream. All my emails are responded to promptly, so any questions or concerns I have are instantly alleviated. For instance I was concerned about my grandparents not having a blue-​ray player and he made sure to give me a dvd copy as well. Also the teaser and full-​length video were turned around within a week!
I was a bit nervous since I hadn’t met him before hand but Dave was super cool /​calm /​professional and very easy to get along with. Thank you Dave for your beautiful work!!!

I assume you’re reading this because you’re looking for a wedding videographer. You guys… don’t look any further than this. Dave is IT. The quality, speed, and calm, collected cool vibe of Dave and his assistant were worth far more than his super modest rate. Working with him throughout the day, I was impressed with his polite demeanor, how he worked well with the other vendors, how he came up with fun and interesting shots right on the spot, and how he worked the scene so quietly that I forgot we were being filmed. I’ve only seen the teaser so far; it’s got major WOWness. He picked up every nuanced detail of the wedding, things I assumed would get swept under the rug even though I unnecessarily agonized over them for a year. I didn’t even tell him what to do because I was so overwhelmed with things, but he knew! Because he’s a professional who knows his biz. He picked up the energy of the day and really encapsulated happiness. Everyone who’s seen it so far (and I showed everyone.) is in awe of the movie-​like quality and story-​telling editing, and the fact that he made us look DAMN good. And the speed! I got my teaser 3 days after the wedding and I’m told that the rest is in the mail. What?! I don’t know how he made such a quality video in that short amount of time. FLOORED. See here for yourself

Light Up Video is absolutely amazing! We were so lucky to have both Dave and Garrett with us on the day of our wedding because they are both fantastic! They spent the morning with us filming in our hotel rooms followed by a long day in the heat. Despite the weather conditions, they did everything with a smile, were so diligent and always kept a great attitude throughout the day. Our entire bridal party was talking about how awesome Dave and Garrett were the day of the wedding. Then came the videos and everyone was in awe. I received so many compliments on our teaser and wedding film. So happy to have had such amazing people to work with!
If you’re going back and forth about getting a videographer, don’t think twice about it and just go for it. This is something definitely worth sqeezing into your budget. It’s a once in a lifetime event and with all the time, energy and finances you put into a wedding, you want something that you can hold onto to forever. Plus, you get to work with Dave :)

Looking for a videographer who was talented and affordable was a priority for my wife and I. Found Light Up online and really liked their videos. I contacted Dave who was great at walking me through how this whole videographer thing will work. He then introduced me to his associate, Garret Stone who would be doing our wedding.
After speaking with Garret, he made me comfortable and put me in a state of mind where I felt like I knew what I was doing (something I think every groom is trying to figure out). On the day of the wedding, Garret jumped right in and jived well with the bridal party, the photographers and our guests. He had an artistic vision and in the same time he already knew what to look for. It was a pleasure having Garret be part of our wedding day.
What I was really impressed with too was that he got us our teaser trailer, the full edited video and the raw footage pretty quickly (within a month). The footage was great and my wife is now addicted to watching them. Thank you Light Up for capturing the moments of our special day.

Dave shot our wedding on June 21, 2015 and he is the best! We did not get to meet him until the day of the wedding, but with his easy going personality it wasn’t long before we felt very comfortable with him. Too often, we forgot he was even there!
Because we were having a second reception the Friday after our wedding, I had asked him to prepare a 10 minute summary of the ceremony. He got the video to us within a couple of days and it was absolutely fantastic! We were so pleased with the quality that we couldn’t wait to get the teaser!
A day or two later, he provided the teaser and I was just blown away. Everyone that has seen it has loved it! They always comment on how great the quality is and they assume we must have paid a fortune.
In looking for a videographer, I researched many vendors and was in shock at their prices. I was very close to simply giving up on hiring a videographer since we had a low budget wedding, but I am so thrilled that I kept searching and found Dave.

Dave is absolutely amazing– I didn’t meet him until the day of the wedding, and he was just fantastic. Not only is he an amazing videographer, but he is very nice – in fact, I felt comfortable around him immediately! Nothing was awkward– he got along fabulously with all of our other vendors, and was very personable all around.
We received our teaser approximately 3 days after our wedding, and we pretty much watched it every day on our honeymoon. Everyone who has seen the video says it’s amazing, and several have commented on how poignant it is, and some have even been moved to tears by it. Everyone told me to hire a videographer, and I’m so glad we did – but more than that, I’m glad that we hired Dave, specifically. During the planning process, I looked at a lot of videographers, and Dave is by far the best that I’ve seen. We couldn’t be happier with his work, and he is highly recommended.
