Los Angeles Intensive Pediatric Therapy

Natalia Pokras is one of the best pediatric physical therapists. My 8 year old son has dyskinesia tetraplegic cerebral palsy. He has been treated by Natalia three times weekly since he was 3 years old. He uses a wheelchair but has also made walking steps with her and does 3 week intensive physical therapy with Natalia twice yearly. We have seen such a positive difference in his physical progress. Natalia is caring and very loving. Her clinic is clean and very organized.

Words cannot express how happy I am with both Natalia & Casey. From the very first meeting when Natalia evaluated him, to the first therapy session with Casey, they both helped me feel at ease and confident with their abilities to help my son achieve his goals.
To begin with, Casey asked me such simple questions that no other therapist had ever asked me, like does he fall safely? How does he get what he wants? You’d think his other P/T’s would have inquired about these very simple but VERY important things. Within just a couple of weeks of seeing Casey a couple of times a week, my son improved MORE than in the previous 6 months.
Casey’s methods are wonderful. My son was always engaged and motivated to move. She always changed things up so therapy was more like play not work. She was also really wonderful with my older son and treated him with respect, rather than a nuisance that has to be there (as I have experienced at other therapist offices).
I seriously cannot recommend them enough.

Casey is simply outstanding. My child loves seeing her and working with her, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. She is in constant communication with me and my wife via telephone and text message. I highly recommend her and the LAIPT facility!

We have never had a more experienced or wonderful physical therapist for our son. Natalia understands our son’s needs and desires as if she was part of our family. She knows how to push him beyond what he thinks he can do but in the most fun and loving way. I would highly, highly recommend LAIPT.

Casey and Natalia have truly been a blessing for our family. My son was diagnosed with low tone by his pediatrician when he was around 12 months old. We didn’t even know what this meant at the time and were very confused. I discussed the diagnosis with a personal friend who suggested LAPIT. I’m so thankful for that recommendation.
From a boy who could hardly sit up and couldn’t crawl six months ago it’s incredible to see where he is today. He walks. He climbs. He is fearless. He’s starting to learn stairs and running. I’m nothing short of amazed with his progress.
Casey & Natalia are the best. Casey is our therapist and we are so grateful to have her work with our little man. Casey is upbeat, friendly, and incredible with children. Most important of all she is incredibly knowledgeable.

When Gunnar, my son, was born we were told he would never walk. Because of the excellence of this clinic, Gunnar is walking with ease and is currently learning to jump and run … and he isn’t even two years old! These two doctors are at the very top of their profession. Specialists at UCLA didn’t have any suggestions for correcting my son’s gait or helping his leg contractures and tight hip flexors, but Casey and Natalia instantly recommended and measured Gunnar’s feet for shoe inserts and taught me stretches to do with him at home. His shoe inserts have helped his feet and legs tremendously! I had seen many other PTs prior to coming to LAIPT and was never informed that such treatments were available for toddlers. These beautiful women are natural instructors and are always joyful and full of positive energy! Their bright and cheerful clinic is spotless and immaculate. They have everything from ball pits and ladders to zip lines and basketball hoops! My son absolutely loves going to therapy twice a week. It’s so fun– the Disneyland of PT clinics. We are beyond blessed to receive treatment here. This past year, I have spoken to many moms coming and going, and we all say this is the very best of the best! Brilliant and caring teachers– what parent doesn’t wish for that for their developing child. It is truly the Gold Standard for therapy. I praise the LORD… This place is such an answer to our prayers.

Natalia and Casey are wonderful. My daughter was not crawling, walking or standing up till she was 15 months. We were referred to them by our pediatrician. It was just such a wonderful experience. She was able to crawl within a few sessions and she was walking by the time she was 21 months:) They have the best tools and a friendly environment for a toddler to feel welcome in their office.
