Los Burritos

Both got the California burrito, it was life changing. Authentic rice and beans, free chips and amazing pico. Best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend. Awesome happy hour as well! Cheap and delicious

I ordered a burger for delivery. I clearly told them how i wanted my burger cooked. As i take a bite of it i see blood. Im pregnant therefore i cant eat undercooked meat. I called back to get a new one sent back but they didn’t want to exchange it. The lady on the phone was rude to my dad. I will not be ordering from here again.

Great burritos and well priced margaritas. It’s not very crowded and the service is great. The quesadillas and nachos are subpar though. Highly recommended for cheap burritos and drinks.

Always order take out from this place. The food is super authentic and the staff is really friendly. The Barbacoa is very well done here. It’s a must try!

One star for location, one star for smoothies and aguas frescas. If u are going here expecting authentic Mexican cuisine I’d say try elsewhere. We came here while walking the Hollywood walk of fame and stopped in thinking it was a decent spot since it boasted being in business for over 40 years we thought it would be delicious! We were wrong all of us ordered basics quesadillas tacos rice and beans burritos. The food was like the McDonald’s of Mexican dining. Fast… very fast… Mexican food. The rice was dry, beans were slightly warm and the quesadilla was borderline hard Im guessing they are using a microwave at some point during the cooking process. The two servers working that night were friendly but it concerned us that they did not write down our orders (since we were a party of 10+) in the end they came thru with quite a memory. The Unilocal ratings do not accurately portray the current status of this place for 2 adults and 2 children I paid nearly 40 dollars for a meal that was bland and tasteless and probably microwaved it was not worth our time$ and energy.

I had some yummy margaritas during happy hour. Great price great quality i will defanatly stop by again next time im in hollywood :)

The food was okay, I paid a dollar extra for sour cream, saw the chef only put a small amount on, asked for more, then the lady told me she’d have to charge me another dollar, and I tipped them. I ended up paying $ 11 for my burrito. After I finished eating I was still hungry. I’d rather go to chipotle.

So, I recently tried Los Burritos for lunch and it was excellent. Their menu boasted a nice selection of breakfasts, and I’ve been a breakfast regular since.
I’ve always been looking for a third Mexican Restaurant to go with El Cholo and Gardens of Taxco, and now I’ve found it.
Everything on the menu is good, and it’s not a get drunk place with bad food, like El Coyote, and some others. The food is good!
It’s not crowded for breakfast and reasonably priced. The burritos themselves are big and the breakfast burritos are addictive.
I think the space used to be a diner: it has a counter; a row of booths; and tables for larger parties in the back. Anyway, it’s very comfortable. They usually have music going. Sometimes it’s in Spanish, sometimes it’s classic rock.
It opens for breakfast at 9 am, though I think they’d have a bigger crowd if they opened at 8. Regardless, the staff is unfailingly friendly and efficient.
However, there are twin sister severs named Maggie and Marie, and they don’t work on the same days. So don’t assume you are experiencing life as it would be if you’d never been born (like I did) if they don’t remember you. It’s probably the twin. So far neither twin is evil, but I’m monitoring it.

Have been a customer since 1975… they now have a new owner and he decided to take the machaca burrito off the menu and changed it with barbacoa meat instead. We asked why and he said the customers don’t like it. I really believe he didn’t like it… if it’s not broke don’t fix it!!! He also discontinued the red liquid sauce we used on the shredded beef tacos and chips… so sad… keep the original food as it was and you will get the same customers back. He just lost 2 customers for the last 41 years!!! I just hate when they start changing up after new owners take over… the people are telling you to keep it the same!!! You sure will be losing more business. listen to the customers they are the ones who keep your business going!!!

Wow weeee when you on Hollywood and hungry. There’s only one place to go. That’s here’s. Great burritos. The juices are where it’s at. Juice Juice so Juicey.

The owner and employees are always very friendly here. Delicious Mexican food. Fills my cravings. They also serve fresh juice here!!! Best of both worlds.

Sorry you are right. My experience happened at the Los burritos on sunset. I will put my review there. I from out of town and not aware there are two with the same name in LA.

Those moments you wish we’re on tape because they’re like a good Seinfeld episode? The kid they now have running the place who got my order wrong, but said I ordered wrong, even though I’ve ordered the my dinners successfully my entire life without any confusion. Granted, I shouldn’t of called them in the first place, but when you’ve had a few drinks you have lower standards, we all know that!;) I just thought it was funny. so that was probably the most powerful moment this kid has had all year, flexing his Mexican restaurant power muscle, and I just think it’s hilarious.

In the 19 years I patronized this restaurant there have been 3 changes in ownership. The service has gone downhill especially fast under the latest owner, Moises. Friday, December 4^th I ordered their carnitas dinner, pictured on the cover of their menu, with black beans and white rice. They delivered it with pinto refried beans and Spanish rice.
Last night I ordered menudo. This is a Mexican specialty served with oregano, chopped onions and lemon slices to create its peculiar tangy sour taste. The restaurant neglected to send the onions and lemons.
Most restaurants use customer feedback to correct and improve their products and service, (e.g. Chipotle). Regrettably, not Los Burritos.

This review is to get their attention: Price down the cheese quesadilla. I paid $ 7 for tortilla and cheese. I repeats tortilla and cheese. Nothing else. The quesadilla was average.

The Al Pastor was bone dry. You can taste the dry rub they use. There was no grease what so ever. That’s where the flavors at. No pineapple either. Meh…
Topped with Onions and cilantro with green and red hot sauce served on the side.
No chips for $ 3 bucks

I came here the other day craving some quick Mexican food and this place is just down the street from my apartment so I decided to give it a try. (I normally go to another location near by but did not feel like walking). Overall, I can say the food was very disappointing; I ordered tacos with beans and rice and a berries and cream shake.
The food was not made to order, they had it premade in a «taco cart» area. The meat and sauces were super bland and definitely tasted like they’d been siting out for a bit. The only saving grace of the meal was the shake, it was straight fruit and milk and was very refreshing. I think the only reason I would return here is to try their freshly made juices/​shakes.

Service is just as amazing as the food!!! As authentic as you can get. A definite winner in Hollywood!

Beware!!! Rude owner.
I’ve been here many times over the years (hollywood born and raised) because it’s close to home, but I’ve finally had enough of the owner’s attitude. It’s not the customers fault you constantly mess up orders when you’re here micro-​managing. Then when it’s brought to you’re attention you get rude. You lost a great customer over rice and beans. Don’t get upset cause you change your own policy and then don’t know how to handle an order. It was hard enough for you as it was. Now you have to «pay first», prob cause service was so bad people would be over it and just walk out.
I did give 2 stars, cause the food’s ok and this is a real review, but know there’s WAY better Mexican food in town. Not even a mile away! You’re juice bar is also a rip off of Hollywood oldest and favorite, down to the names. Except they make them better, also only a block away.
It’s so easy to be nice to your customers, as easy as it is to write this review about how bad the owners attitude is.

Without getting too subjective here, I’ll just catalog my experience and let the rating speak for itself.
My lady and I are trying every restaurant from La Brea to the Vine sub station for a challenge this year. On our way back from a walk we decided to bounce into Los Burritos to try them out and knock them off the list.
We chose to split an $ 8.50 item which was reasonably priced for L.A. But, when presenting a credit card, were told that we had to spend $ 10 to use the card. Absolutely. We get it. Makes sense because businesses have to pay, at least, 35 cents every time they allow a person to swipe their card. So, I throw a $ 2.50 taco on the order and my girlfriend swipes the card, and includes a $ 2 tip.
Their food was okay. I’d give it a three to four star rating. The cook kept going outside and inside, seemingly, waiting for someone. Ohio Health code frowns on going outside with your apron on, but it may be different in California. Either way– he seemed distracted but pleasant. The food was lacking in flavor other than the meat. Cheese and tortilla tasted the same, really.
Girlfriend asked for a side of sour cream and the waitress brought one out. About an ounce and a half of sour cream. My lady got a little more flavor– everything was well and good.
As we were leaving, saying thank you and «have a nice day» to the staff behind the counter, the cook stops us and says we have to pay for the side of sour cream. My girlfriend apologizes, saying she has no cash, and the cook sighs and says– «Fine. We’ll ring up your credit card for it.» (I would have cancelled the last credit card swipe [not having run End-​of-​Day yet] and redone the earlier transaction.) But, they didn’t relent, and so she rang up her credit card for the purchase of the sour cream.
How much does an ounce of sour cream cost here? $ 2. Two Dollars! The price of a taco. So, sorry, but I have to give one star as we will now laugh about this weirdness every time we pass Los Burritos from now on. That was just ridiculous.
