James is awesome. I was getting lost trying to figure out Covered California, and was even accidentally enrolled in Medical at a not-​helpful Covered California storefront office. He was super patient with me and my million questions, got me and my husband enrolled on an awesome health insurance plan that worked well for me. I am *so* glad I found this place!

I’d been trying to get coverage through Covered California due to a change in life circumstance, and was having no luck using their online app and trying to phone. I walked in, and within half an hour James had helped me fill out the documents and sent them to CC. A week or so later, when I got documents from CC saying that I needed additional forms, I again walked in and James was able to figure out what they needed and sent it in for me. I can’t tell you what a godsend this was! I’m only sorry it took so long to post the review, but it was hugely helpful, and James was terrific. Thank you!

This guys saved my life. Having a dental office with many employee and sub contractors, and also obtaining a general insurance for the office and workers comp, and on top of this dealing with patients and insurance company to get paid and pay the bills, I needed a insurance company and person to take care of our insurance need so I can focus on tuning my business.

I just had the most amazing experience I ever thought could be possible at an auto ins office. I came in hoping to get a better rate on car insurance and somehow ended up with a better rate PLUS an upgrade in coverage. James is super nice and took super great care of me. I cannot recommend enough!

Great support and information about the different programs. I tried navigating the information on my own online but was having a hard time. James was very easy to work with and no sales pressure. I recommended my brother to them. I’ve worked with James for many years and will continue to do so.

Can’t begin to thank James and his staff enough for the amazing help I received. I was on the hunt for the lowest price due to my terrible driving record. After a few quotes I realized that I was gonna be stuck paying a hundreds of dollars a month. Long story long, I had been struggling with getting coverage on Covered California for the better part of a month. I finally called Covered CA after not being able to proceed past enrollment, and had an hour long conversation with an agent who wasn’t able to figure out the issue and suggested I see an insurance agent who could re-​start the process.
I called Probind at around 11 am and asked if they were available during my lunch break, I spoke to James who said he only needed a half hour so I booked an appointment for 12:30. I’m not too crazy about being THAT on time so when I parked my car around 12:32 and ran into the office, I had just accepted that there was no way I was going to be out of the office, insured, and back in Glendale for my 1:30.
After an initial hiccup of me having forgotten my crazy Covered CA password and having to re-​set a new even crazier one, James was on his way. He literally LITERALLY went through the entire site with me, signed me up for the plan I wanted, explained to me what a premium was, answered all my random questions, printed everything out, highlighted everything I needed, and put it all into a folder.
I was out the door before 1.
It was unreal, I cannot recommend James highly enough!

I am not sure why this business has not yet been reviewed — it has taken a couple of weeks to get to it but I did not want to miss the Chance. If you are confused by covered california as I was and in between gigs as I was… this is the place that god has called you to. James is the Dalai Lama of Obamacare. For months I labored on the website and tried to figure out how to qualify — I got dumped into the Medicare pool and a Social Worker was assigned to me! Not what I was looking for. I wanted something better than the awful out of pocket plan I’d had for the last 3 years — I put it off as long as possible and drove out to probid on a rainy afternoon at 4pm. honestly, i felt like crying. I had found probid as a certified provider on the covered california website. James was able to get me logged into the site — a miracle given i had two accounts and no idea how to reset my log in. He knows the site backwards and forwards, he got be qualified at the right level and came up with a solution to tide me over until i booked my next gig. he explained how I should approach the whole situation, got me cadillac level insurance with 0 copays– he explained how I should anticipate my taxes and when I should adjust inside the system to honestly show my income. He explained that I was only required to have health insurance 9 months out of the year but also encouraged me to keep my coverage in case anything should arise. He encouraged me to keep my existing dental plan — even tho he could have tried to sell me a new one. He helped me preplan for my personal goals in the year ahead, which includes moving to the OC. It was like sitting down with Jimmy Carter to get your coverage needs met. He flew thru the website with the greatest of ease, ticking boxes and breezing thru oddball bugs he’d already created work arounds for. I could never have done it without him and I am so grateful I can’t believe no one has written a review yet. I heard him outside explaining the same stuff to someone else. Obama and Jerry should hire him to give teach ins and presentations at CVS rather than having that stupid Anthem Blue Cross table there. Did i mention I switched to blue shield? just days before Anthem was hacked! Go here.
