Just came in to buy a used part for a client. 2 months ago it was $ 25. Now it’s $ 35. I asked about the pricing last time. My salesperson went to ask the manager who rudely responded «I said $ 35!»
In summary, they were really rude to a customer. They made an extra $ 20. They lost a customer.

I brought in my MacBook Pro which was on life support, and these guys brought it back to life! Turn around time was only 2
Hours for a new battery, hard drive and memory installation. Unbelievably fast, friendly and reasonably priced! And they even cleaned the computer! Will be bringing in all of my macs to Mac Enthusiasts for repair and service!

I have never had a better experience with having my computer fixed. I am one of «those» people. I know nothing about computers and have been EVERYWHERE. Hands down, the service was exceptional, Erick the technician was helpful, kind and impeccable. This is my new spot. And I am VERY critical. LOVE LOVE LOVE

This place is awesome. Very fast turnaround. Great, friendly employees and the owner even helped me via Unilocal’s messenger to diagnose my computers problem before I came into the store. I’ve been to a few places in the past, but seriously this one is the best.

Trying to stay above the fray and surf a wave of unrelenting demands on my time. .. drowning in stress. Late Saturday night I was reviewing messages on my iPhone. Very sleepy and distressed by the content of a message, I swiped to delete it. The entire conversation, the thread, disappeared beneath the screen. A swell of dialogue needed for a future legal action, now drowned out, lost to me forever.
I cast my net into the ocean of the Internet and fished out applications that promised to recover lost data from recent model iPhones. I don’t like backing up sensitive information to the Cloud, and have avoided it. My last backup to iTunes was in January, and did not contain my lost data. And so I turned to my local Apple store. Like a cold fish, with no recommendations at all, they refused to assist me with recovering my lost data. And then, a beacon of light flashed in my mind, like a port in a storm! MAC ENTHUSIASTS!!! JUST A MERE two miles west of the Apple Store!
I sailed in, with trepidation, truly believing this little emporium and clinic was my last resort. I was greeted by Eric, Ron, and Matt, three interested and sharp technicians who were curious about my recovery issue. Rather than say «NO,» we can’t attempt this, RON asked for my iPhone and then wordlessly delved into a «search and rescue» mission. He was focused, and clearly highly skilled. He navigated the myriad screens of code that were on the rocky road to my data, and HE NEVER STOPPED. This process was something even the other two fine technicians had not tried before. RON’s expertise and willingness to be challenged by this mission recovered my lost thread! RON SAVED ME! Not only did he recover my data, he provided two different versions. RON also took the time to install a Mac Enthusiast Logo to indicate on the printed recovery that the recovery had been performed by Mac Enthusiasts. I was charged very fairly for this emergency operation.
While waiting for the results of my iPhone data recovery, I had a chance to become acquainted with the many high quality products available for purchase at Mac Enthusiasts. I need an upgrade of many technology items, and I will be returning shortly to buy a beautiful, refurbished IMAC, a scanner, another 1TB La Cie external hard drive, and an ergonomic keyboard.
Mac Enthusiasts is the home of all my future Apple purchases and service repairs! And a special heartfelt thanks to RON!

I’ve gone to mac enthusiast for three different macs and it’s been a success every time with great service and competitive pricing. Ron helped me out and pretty much solved my problem in less than 5 minutes. Once again Mac enthusiast has saved me again! Much love guys

Not only are their team fast, reliable, and very knowledgeable. What Impressed me the most is their business ethics, which is hard to come by today.
My Mac Book Pro had issues, and I had it to the Apple Genius Bar a few times to no avail. I took it to Mac Enthusiasts, and instead of taking it in for repair, they told me my Mac was part of a recall. That is positive energy, and ‘giving forward.‘
I know where I am going next time I am buying a Mac or needing an upgrade or repair.

This store is the best place for all professional and personal computer needs. They do large rental orders very well, but I also feel confident taking my personal laptop here for repair. Quick, easy, and very reliable. I especially like Mark, Mathew, and Kevin.

I needed to quickly rent an inexpensive mac pro for an Avid independent feature editing project. Received a great deal from Matthew, plus the special attention and support from the Mac Enthusiasts team that I needed at the beginning and at times when I had a question or needed software advice.

I also just bought a used mac (the one I had rented for a while). Again, great deal and incredibly friendly service!

After the «geniuses» at the Apple store crashed two Mac laptops, I started going to MacEnthusiasts. They are patient and knowledgeable and have helped my family on several tech messes and mishaps.
I moved from LA to NY and brought my laptop back to LA on a recent trip back just to have them check it out since I didn’t believe what the Apple store said was wrong. They checked it out thoroughly and diagnosed the problem. Had to buy a new one and they recommended what to buy to make sure the old files would transfer over — even though it meant buying at Apple.
Erick and Mathew are just amazing. totally trust them and even though I live 3000 miles away, I will call them first or even send my computer to them.
They are on the pricey side and the Genius Bar is free so don’t expect a bargain.

It was a stormy, dark night when my Mac died such a slow and painful death. I cried. I wiped the tears away and Unilocaled a place for a used Mac. With the serial computer destroying teenager in the house, I was not going to spend money on the new one. And this place was found. Convenient location with the parking in back, and it had the inventory that I needed. In I went, and out I came with a beautiful new (well used, but you know what I mean…) laptop. I had fabulous service and even though I hope I don’t need these guys for a LOOOOOONG time, this is a place I will go if I need my laptop baby fixed or replaced. Cheers.

This place was great! They took my computer and basically rebuilt the whole thing in a day. Amazing. Great customer service. They’re super nice. Especially Ron! He took the time to transfer my stuff from my iPhone to the MacBook and show me how to use the new operating system. Love this place. Definitely would recommend it to everyone!

I wanted to get an alternative to the Apple Store cause it is too crowded. This place seemed to be a perfect fit. Though they were overall OK their service was slow and I had to still wait a lot in line, so I almost with no better alternative.

MAC people take heed, for west side residents — this is your new Mac tech support HQ (if you cant deal with the Mac store Genius bar) These guys are less money and faster and you get more because they always go above and beyond. Most of my Mac friends come here and that’s how i discovered them. Great shop. I highly recommend. The ONLY downside is the location. I’m not always on the west side so the drive is the only negative for me.

These guys are sneaky, I had an iPad that was stolen in the area, and when I tracked it down to their store they denied it ever being there. After calling and being firm, I had a call 10 minutes later from a guy who was behind their store who stated that some guy came in and said he found it in a trash can. Well, the store went around my password and I lost all my info.
Plain & simple, dishonest.

My computer wouldn’t turn on – I had already taken my computer into the Apple Store and they couldn’t get it to turn on, so I was just heading to Mac Enthusiasts for an emergency backup before I took it in for Apple Care service. Matt and Ron at Mac Enthusiasts were friendly and helpful. Ron got my computer to start, and performed a free diagnostic. Since the computer didn’t need any hardware or software work, they didn’t charge me anything, and I went home to perform a data backup myself.
This is my second time at Mac Enthusiasts, and I keep coming back because the staff are fun, knowledgeable, and very reasonable with labor and parts pricing. They are so personable — they feel more like friends who know a lot about computers than like service techs. Thanks, guys!

Been going to Mac Enthusiasts for years and they have always been helpful however this last time they could not finish resolving my logic board issue on a 2011 MacBook Pro that Apple will replace for free because Mac Enthusiasts are no longer Apple Authorized.
Not sure if this is permanent or not but I would like to know what this means and why they aren’t authorized anymore as the Apple store made it seem like it was not a good thing having their authorized status removed.
Always enjoyed having one place to go for all my MacBook needs and not trying to find another place. Either way, Mac Enthusiasts are amazing.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! — I went into Mac Enthusiasts after getting quotes from at least five other shops in the area to fix my macbook pro, which had lost signal coming from the graphics chip. While all the other shops were consistent with quotes of between $ 130~$ 200.00, the guy at this place put on a discerning face and started shaking his head before telling me they could do it for about $ 850.00!!!
When I told them that every other shop I’d received quotes from were between 130.00~200 for the same fix, they started to put on this incredibly thick & fake tech-​babble trying to make excuses for their high price, assuming that I must be a total idiot. When I explained to them the process of replacing a graphics processor chip on the logic board and asked them to further clarify how they could randomly quote such a high price, the floor manager there in an effort to maintain his appearance of confidence in their price quote said that; «If you find someone who can make the repair for $ 130.00, we’ll PAY FOR IT!»
Without hesitation I went to one of the other shops who then made the repair and had my machine ready in two days, for $ 130.00. I took the invoice back to Mac Enthusiasts and demanded that they pay the promised $ 130.00. (Yes– I had them put their arrogant challenge in writing!)
They same guy then made a copy of my invoice and promised that their office would send me a check within 10 days. –Needless to say, I’ve seen NO check from them.
Repair houses like this one that try to take advantage of consumers and then fail to keep their promise when called to task should be eradicated from the business community. Because I have everything well documented including the note on their letterhead stating that they would pay for my repair (if another shop did it for $ 130.00) I am heading to several consumer advocate groups and TV programs with the story.
