Had occasion to actually have him come to office to set up new computers. Great experience as he explained everything — made recommendations even before heading over on what peripherals I would need to upgrade. I’m a 1000 better at using my computers and everything is now seamless

When you watch him work you know that you’re watching somebody who is intimately familiar with Mac computers and networking and he knows exactly where to look when we are having a problem. This guy deserves all the Unilocal accolades. He is dead honest, not a crooked bone in his body and actually asked me to order the parts myself rather than ordering it himself and marking it up. Told me it’s a better idea to buy a new machine even though it would have meant loss of business for him. I contacted Macman twice. The first time because of a black screen and my computer wouldn’t turn on. The second time because of unwanted adware. Macman walked me through all the steps of getting the issue resolved, by deleting files that were downloaded to my computer without my permission, spam stuff. Macman was on the phone with me for as long as it took, making sure that all files that needed to be removed, were gone such that all adware would never show up again. Problem solved! Thank you very much for your support!!! Jeremy definitely is the go-​to MacMan!

I called Jeremy at MacMan because my girlfriend’s iPhone had malfunctioned during a software upgrade. The phone would only work if we reset and erased everything thus potentially losing some valuable photos.
Jeremy patiently and clearly talked us through making sure the phone was backed up and rebooted in the right way and answered a bunch of my other random Macbook questions. It all worked beautifully. This guy knows a million tricks and solutions to all Apple stuff.
And he’s quick to get to the point so you don’t have to bear through some outsourced off shore tech-​support guy with thick accent asking you to unplug your modem four time for no reason.

Simply stated, Jeremy (Macman) is the one invaluable source for help with ALL things Mac. He s very fast responding to requests and does so with a very calming, pleasant, and knowledgeable demeanor. He truly wants to help in every way he can. He has been working on Mac products for close to two decades and one would be hard pressed to encounter an issue that he can’t handle. He is the man! MacMan was super fast on getting back to me and walked me through step-​by-​step to get my computer running fast again. He helped me identify the things I didn’t need and overall cleaned my computer up so it was as good as new… And all of this over the phone. Awesome and super nice!!!

My hard drive was crashing. I reviewed the symptoms with Jeffrey, who had returned my call in less than five minutes. Symptoms were repeated disk permission repairs, refusing to wake from sleep mode, taking forever to re-​start or shut down, often not shutting down unless I used the power button, and overall slow performance.
Jeff confirmed that my guess about my hard drive dying were accurate. We discussed options, and he explained to me that he didn’t do the type of repair I needed, and he recommended me to a very good shop.
He told me that Apple had identified a problem with some hard drives in computers like mine and suggested I call them first to see if the issue was part of that repair program. (I did, it wasn’t, but it still helped)
Great man, honest, very knowledgable, really glad I called him.

I’ve known Jeremy since 2000. Back then he helped me fix up my G4 tower more times than I can count. Then OSX came along and he moved to LA and I thought I could live without him. Not true.
I’ve gone through many Macs since then and each time I migrated my data, I migrated all my junk along with the good stuff. I got a new MacBook Pro about a year ago and I thought it would be fast and fabulous. It was not. And as time went on it got more and more sluggish. Then I upgraded to Mavericks and Adobe CC and I thought NOW it’s going to be fast and fabulous. No. It became almost unusable.
I’m in Oakland and Jeremy is in LA, so I didn’t think he could help me and asked him for a referral. He said he could help me remotely. What?! Why didn’t I figure this out years ago! And help me he did.
He cleaned out my hard drive — about 50GB of crap (I still had defunct applications from 2001 hiding on there). After that clean up, my machine was already noticeably faster and less buggy. But then, over the phone, he helped me upgrade my memory and switch out my HD and now I’m living in a whole different world.
I can’t even believe how fast my MacBook is now. My applications open instantaneously and huge files save immediately. I can’t believe I lived with a sluggish machine for so long.

I would be truly lost without MacMan. I am a designer and my IMac is what helps me pay the bills. When my hard drive took a dump, I first took my IMac to another Mac storefront company. I will not name names, but although the service people there where very cordial they weren’t very attentive. If it wasn’t for my own persistence and concern for getting it back, I would have never known it was not being worked on.
