Maxine has more than five years of solid experience in bridal & special occasion makeup. While earning her BA in Journalism/​PR, she worked as a makeup artist for Laura Mercier.

Maxine’s goal is to achieve sheer perfection in her makeup artistry for every single client.

I hired Maxine to do my makeup on the most important day of my life… my wedding day. Now I should probably give you all some background on previous makeup experiences I’ve had. I went to the Mac counter once and explained to the makeup artist EXACTLY what I wanted. I even brought in pictures. An hour later, they made me look like a drag queen :(My second experience was the same thing… a horrible makeup job. I was forced to wash it off and reapply it myself. What a waste of time and money, right?
So, I’ve definitely had the worst makeup experiences, BUT I’ve also had the best — Maxine. Maxine, on the other hand, did an AWESOME job. She listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. My makeup looked natural and beautiful, not overdone and caked on. I was very pleased and felt really beautiful on my wedding day. I should also mention that my makeup actually stayed on ALL day. We’re talkin nearly 105 degree heat in the valley folks. She’s a miracle worker.
She also did my bridesmaids’ makeup and they all looked simply beautiful! As a matter of fact, each one of them said they too loved how Maxine applied their makeup.
I’ll definitely be hiring Maxine to do my makeup again in the future!

Let me just start off by saying that I really don’t like getting my makeup done. I never feel like I look like myself… that is until I had my makeup done with Maxine.
My friend Carolyn hired Max to do makeup for her wedding. I was a little hesitant about getting my makeup applied since I have had so many bad experiences in the past but Maxine was amazing. She managed to do my makeup and when she was finished, I still looked like me. (A hotter version of me) But me, nonetheless. I was so happy with her services that every time someone asks me for a makeup recommendation, I always refer them to Max.
Oh, she’s also super sweet!
