Manuel’s Burger

Got our breakfast to go (plate w eggs, bacon and French toast) and the eggs were RAW. Should be reported.

Breakfast is super good! Lots of different pancakes and good coffee. Everyone is always nice when I go in.

Love the pancakes and the fresh cut french friess! Breakfadt all day! New york steak dinner what else can you ask for!

Best food in town. Breakfast all day good thing. Plates are huge. Girls are really polite.

Horrible delivery service. I spent 30 mins trying to order only to keep on getting cut off and hanged up on. The person attending me told me to wait and just went on to attend customers in the drive thru, mind you, while I’m still waiting. Very unprofessional. I can’t go to the restaurant because I’m handicapped and that is the service I get. 1 star for the food-​decent at best. Negative four stars for the service

The food used to be awesome when they first opened. Not so much now. Its not even good with prices. Don’t think I’ll go back any time soon

If I am giving this place 3 stars is for the owner (I think he is the owner) on the kitchen most of the time he is very friendly it just sucks he has such bad and rude ppl working her. Food is good you have to wait a while to get it.

I don’t usually eat on a place like this because I am allergic on places that has bad service. So whenever I experience a place like this, I usually remember it because of their bad service.
But their Carne Asada Fries is really good, the carne was appealing. I like how they made this dish, love the combination of this one.
Their is also clean, this is the only thing that I think their staff is good on.

New management slow ass service been at the drive through for like 20 minutes!!! It’s not the first time I have come through and it’s been that damn slow!!! Wish the old management was there prices were cheaper and service was faster!

Cheeseburger was blah fries were cold and not tasty I would rather eat a cheeseburger from McDonald’s.

I started to go to Rally’s but decided to go here since i was five minutes away. I ordered the chicken nugget meal and paid my 4.35 for it and picked up my order and left. I got home and was disappointed because the fries weren’t as hot as i thought and they were old on top of that, i will never be back and i feel i should get my damn $$$ back but im over it now ;)

The place is very kept up and clean gotta give them props for that. I went there a couple of days ago ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and was disappointed at what I got. They mixed the chicken and rice together looked all sloppy and they drenched it in teriyaki sauce it was so sweet I couldn’t eat it. My bf ordered a double cheeseburger and they gave him the burger with no cheese. The cashiers are too busy chatting away not paying attention to the customers when they are waiting to order. The cook had to yell out customers for them to pay attention. I returned my meal and I was offered a hamburger not what I wanted but I wasn’t offered a refund or if I wanted anything else of my choice. I will come back just to see if the service and food gets better. My kids didn’t complain about their food. So they must be doing something right.

I took my young sons here and I was very happy to go here, at first. The food is good quality… but the female cashier with the bad attitude is going to ruin Manuel’s Burgers reputation. We went inside, me and my 2 young sons, and they wanted tortas. The girl who waited on us was very impatient, and she had the worst attitude I have ever seen in this place. I was giving her my order and she walked away and allowed a younger girl to continue our order. How Rude and a bunch of bollocks! The new girl continued our order. We sat down and the food came after 20 minutes. We received our food but not our drinks. I told the young female cashier and she says, Let me see your receipt and I replied, «I got the combo with a Coke and 2 Horchatas de Canela.» And I reminded her, «You took the order!» She seemed dazed and searched her memory for a moment and said, Oh Yeah! and came back with the drinks and apologized. Imagine you take your family out to enjoy food and the service is not professional or up to quality standards; and, the staff taking the orders does not care how they treat you. The food is good, but this one person on the staff has anger/​hate/​arrogant attitude issues. And until they fix it. me and my family will not return there.

Ok so there was good & bad 2 this place the good is the very nice staff who were very down to earth. I, myself a Pasadena native found myself stuck in the LA/​Manchester traffic starving and on my way home. After seeing the many selections & a sign that said 1.00 tacos I had 2 stop and try it.
Good news: They had tacos
Bad News: They were no longer a dollar
So the really nice lady pitched the 4 tacos and a drink deal that I was hesitant about being it was my first time their but I ordered it anyway.
Good news: The carne asada was actually flavorful I really enjoyed it and it complimented the cilantro and onions as well as warm tortillas
Bad news: The reason for the 2 stars never in my taco career/​life have I ever tasted a salsa as disgusting. It taste like watered down ketchup then 2 add more insult no lines or lemons ??? I instantly went to Carolyn’s Kitchen down the street for real food. I hope the owner reads this I hope to see improvement because honestly with a few tweaks I think business would be booming !!

Do not go there! The place sells some grilled chicken that does not have the best taste. Aside the taste the chicken I bought only had chicken leg and thigh no chicken breast or anything else! The worse part was that the chicken was extremely under cooked it literally had blood dripping from it! Not recomended.

I’d say 2.5 stars. This is actually my fourth experience with Manuel’s. I’m happy to say this time I’m surprisingly pleased. I got the steak dinner and it included one rib eye, one new york strip, salad, fries, beans, rice, tortillas., aaannd texas toast. All of this for 9 $. A pretty sweet deal I will vouch for. My first run in with the spot was a to go experience. Chicken was on the menu and again I was content with the reasonably priced meal. Now… Yes. There is a curb in the review. On two separate occasions I literally couldn’t even eat the meal that I had ordered. The first gut wrenching disaster of what I hesitate to call food was the fried fish to go. Wow. We won’t get into it but let’s just say that a frozen banquet dinner would be a gourmet treat in comparison. The next time I decided to «give it another shot» I had fried chicken and BBQ ribs and wow did they «F» it up too! I will post the pics that I actually took of what may be the world’s oddest looking chicken. The proportion between the leg and wing was comical. Along with that the ribs were another item that was to me inedible. Yes it was a sad sad day for me when I got a bad plate of ribs in South Central from a Mexican/​American joint. That goes to prove the known fact that quality and quantity very rarely are seen hand in hand. So with debatable feelings about ol’ Manuel’s I’m off to my next review.

first off, please read! manuel’s burgers has a larger menu. i give them that. some items are incredibly cheap. the pollo asado plate, grilled chicken, is absolutely
no way is it «asado».it taste like old bbq chicken. they do deliver, which is rare for local burger joint. i wish more burger joint would deliver.
one day i went to manuel’s i decided to go through the drive-thru.when i pulled up to the window i heard an argument. the manager got in a scuffle with a crack head in the dining room. the crackhead tried to stab him. the manager came behind the counter and grabbed a knife and was yelling at the crackhead. the entire restaurant staff behind the front counter looked pretty nervous. all this was happening while i was waiting for my food.weird.again, do not try the pollo asado. its incredibly gross

this joint recently opened down the street from me & so far so good. No complaints. The menu is the biggest ive see at any other burger joint. I just found out that they deliver. The prices are average food is good. They have breakfast ALLLLLLL day for 1.50!!! I recomend this place if you want to grab something on the way back or to downtown LA.
