Whoever worked the register tonight, Sunday at 930pm, was the rudest cashier I have ever met. I live in the neighborhood and will now never return to this establishment due to his behavior. If the owner is reading this. Please respond.

We’ve purchased expired food and the health rating is a C, I wonder what it takes to get a C rating

I really enjoy the convenience of Market on Spring and enjoy the customer service! They even have Mops, the dog food I like(for my dogs), mouthwash, deli, plenty of snacks, and Delicious Sub Sandwiches! I appreciate the ATM, the beverages(oops no alcohol yet), Tostadas, lightbulbs, even tools, and frozen chicken and hamburger! I love the people who work there!

Excellent, tasty sandwiches — fresh ingredients and freshly baked bread. Inexpensive prices, too. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I usually grab a soda or ice cream here, too. Loving the price, and the friendly staff!

This market is ok. What’s awesome about it is it’ location and convenience. The selection is ok. It’s a great place to stop at if you need any last minute things and don’t want to wait in the crazy line at Rite-Aid. Parking is on the street or walking but if you are coming to this market, you are probably living in the neighborhood and just walking to it anyway. Service has been good. Rarely a line here and if there is, it’s short and fast.

Kind of a piss-poor excuse for a Kwik-E-Mart if you ask me: a couple of narrow corridors stocked with a lame selection of overpriced packaged goods. There aren’t many ‘markets’ in the immediate area, though… so there’s that. Go to Ralph’s instead.

I was here the other day with a buddy to grab some cancer sticks and when my buddy was paying a Hobo walks in right behind us with a black plastic bag and started snatching gums and tossing it in his bag right in front of the clerk that was carry the ugliest dog ever. She asked if he was going to pay for it and didn’t even check his bag. He left but that was a good come up for him. This store is in a good location but beware of Hobo’s.

This place is a mini vacation from a grocery store. It’s a bit of this, and a bit of that. What I mean is people grill outside, during certain hours, and there’s a heap of random items inside. The owner is super friendly, and very accommodating. You can always request a certain brand, or item. There’s newly added tables outside. They had a few before, but they’ve added a few more. Please be aware, a lot of people beg for change here. All you have to do is say, «no.» If you do give change, you’re donating to their drug & alcohol fund. If that’s your way of giving back to society, so be it. Drug dealers have to eat too, I suppose.

Totally convenient and they stock as much as they can. I was even able to find birthday candles in the very back. Their BBQ kabobs out front are the best on the block. Their salmon are my favorite; great sauce served with naan and rice all for six bucks. what a deal.

Not my favorite market in downtown LA. Lots of random expired-looking boxes of food that I wouldn’t bother with. Minimal selection of everything else that you might actually want to eat. Go hit market on 6th instead.

It’s definitely convenient having this little store downtown and closer to my apartment than Ralph’s, but I wish the owners had a little more pride in the quality of their stuff. Their produce was kind of old and I picked up a quart of milk and some cereal for freaking $ 7 plus a $.50 debit card fee. I’d only come here if I REAAAALLLYYYY needed something.

Great little market with lots of extras. Soap to whipping cream to deli cheese in the front and even… flatirons! Seriously, you can’t ask for more. Does your neighborhood market sell flatirons? Methinks not. They also take credit cards.

Freshest blunts in downtown LA, great homemade salads and really good sandwhiches this spot is legit it’s open late night and right across the street from The Exchange — which is either good or bad depending on what type of person you are and being right next to LA Café is a major plus

I’m absolutely in love with this place. After eating a tasty belgium waffle from next door(Syrup Dessert) I think I’ll try their chicken kabob for $ 6 but it is only available from 7pm to midnight. MA-MA-MIA how good their chicken kabob sandwich is. It is absolutely one of the tastiest chicken kabob Ive ever tasted. It’s marinated perfectly. ohh la la!!! Order your kabob then go next door to Syrup to have a coffee or tea while you wait for your order. Takes a while, thats whyy. ENJOY! **Don’t forget to click Usefull b/c this review is, I GUARANTEE =D

I have visited this market about 30 times and have had the kabob during 4 of those trips. I often come here for fresh veggies that I need after I get home from work and realize I’m missing something I need to make dinner. They have a very good selection of every day items and it’s great that I don’t have to walk to Ralphs or Grand Central to get stuff I need. I have tried the beef and salmon kabobs. They are always fresh and cooked to order. For $ 5 you can’t go wrong with the quality. One makes a great snack and two is a perfect dinner. They also serve this really delicious grilled corn you should try for I think $ 1.50. This place never closes and always has been to my satisfaction. They will even cut you chunks of fresh cheeses and meats from their little deli section at per pound rates. Having this market down the street from us is a huge bonus for living in the neighborhood.

It had what I wanted — large selection of snack foods. I wanted some tuna — no bread. They had that along with an assortment of pre-made sandwiches and with an assortment of potato/pasta salads. I’d skip the potato salad — it tasted old and the potatoes were HARD. All in all, it was easy in and easy out — very nicely priced. I’d return for snack items.
