Losing weight, getting in better shape, building muscle and anything else to do with improving your body all require one thing: using your body. This is the hard part about fitness, finding a way you enjoy using your body. For some people it’s going to gym, lifting weights and running on a treadmill. For me and the people I train, it’s Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing and a unique variety of plyometrics and bodyweight calisthenics. Having fun and enjoying what you’re doing are the two most important and most overlooked keys to a good workout. Not only will you do both, but you’ll be learning a real, useful and physically demanding martial art in the process.
Every session we will not just be getting you a good workout, we’ll be teaching you the intricacies of Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing. Technique work, pad holding, partner drills, combination throwing and eventually sparring (yes, you will really learn how to fight!) are what you’ll be focused on. It is *impossible* to train in this sport and not get a good workout, and that’s why this training is so great: the more you learn, the more fun you have with the sport, the better your workout is.
I could keep talking about this training, but I want you to try it and see for yourself. That’s why the first session is *100% no obligation*- meaning you only pay if you want to keep training. If it’s not for you, no problem, you won’t pay anything. Give me a call, tell me about what your personal goals are and let’s get training!
History
Established in 2003.
Since 2003 I have been training in Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling, and have progressed to teaching all of these sports and fighting in MMA professionally. I have taught in all of the above sports at a variety of gyms, including PKG, Hollywood Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Werdum Combat Team, Systems Training Center and Krav Maga.
Beginning personal training in 2008, I have developed extensive experience with a wide range of body types, skill levels and goals and am accommodating and flexible with my training regimens. To meet demand I work closely with other trainers, all of whom provide the same experience as mentioned in reviews. Most importantly I want you to make sure that *you* like training with us, so try a full hour session with no obligation (you only pay if you like it) and see what you think.
