Update, Matteo finally contacted me regarding my return. They still would not issue a check and insisted that I provide my credit card information. I was uncomfortable doing this, but hopefully in a few days I will receive the refund. The amount of time and diligence and follow-​up on my behalf was totally unreasonable. I hope Matteo can improve their order management and customer service in the future.

I love this place. This is my second year going to their January sale and they have very good prices and good quality bedsheets and bed covers. With my sensitive skin, I am very picky with my sheets. I only buy my sheets here.

Their linen sheets are amazing. I have two sets and just bought a third. If you live in the Los Angeles area be smart and get on their email list and wait for their massive yearly sale!

Don’t by the linen sheets I ordered a set after a lot of research. The sheets felt great but they shed a lot and I mean A LOT! I took pics and emailed customer service to ask if that was normal of if there were a certain amount of required washes. NO ANSWER. Later I called the store and the person who answered the phone said they had never had that complain and passed me to customer service and I left a message. Finally someone contacted me and they did offer to exchange the sheets insisting that was abnormal. Well the next set of sheets have done the same thing. BAD PRODUCTS and FAIRLY SLOW service which in my mind equals bad service.

Gonna have to agree with previous reviews. Stopped in because there was a 50% off white sale. Pretty shitty customer service for being a high end store. Walked around for ½ hour and never received any assistance. Well Matteo, screw you.

I hate writing bad reviews, but how is this place still in business? It’s Tuesday, we need new sheets so I say «let’s support a local business!» Big mistake. We get there at 1130 am to find a sign on the door that says they’ll be open at 1pm and sorry for the inconvenience. So we blow an hour and a half walking around the neighborhood. Come 115pm still not open. That’s not how you run a business. No one answering the phones, nothing. Thank you for wasting my time Matteo. It was a HUGE inconvenience.

I did a lot of research on new bedding, and thought Matteo was a great choice, but I was wrong.
I ordered the Tru Set– Duvet, 2 pillow cases, and fitted sheet. My order arrived and the duvet which I ordered in gray, and a few marks on it, almost like oil splotches. So I contacted customer service, and although it took awhile, I exchanged it for a new one. Well, the new one arrived, and this time, the zipper was faulty. I did not want to wait forever to exchange yet again, so I brought to my local seamstress. She said, and it was apparent, that an old zipper was put on (it looked all scuffed up). So, I decided to exchange, yet again. For the price, I would expect much better!
I do like the feel of the sheets, percale cotton. My pillowcases are fine, the fitted sheet is rather large, might be ok on some mattress. My duvet cover is ok, it still has a lot of marks on it, so I have no idea what is with this material. I keep a throw blanket over it and wash it regularly.
Needless to say, I am sad to say I regret these purchases. I plan to use this bedding for the time being, but onto better things next. What a bummer!

I hate to say it, but although it was a beautiful relationship, it’s not me Matteo, it’s you. It’s totally, irrevocable, 100% YOU.
I came in to replace a fitted sheet and a top sheet. Should be easy enough. I want white. White is always in stock. Cool. All ready for a lazy spring nap, I proceed to put the fitted sheet on my bed… and then… WTF?! Now, I may have had plenty of help learning, but at this point, I can make my king bed like a rockstar… Something was off.
What is any rational adult to do when something isn’t fitting and they have help visiting? Scream, ‘MUM!!!’ really loud. I think that maybe I took a sleeping pill or a klonopin so I may be clumsy. Nope. She couldn’t get it straightened out either.
I read the tag. It’s not a California King is it? Nope. It says King… but it has… layers? My flat sheet is tagged very neatly so now I’m all NSA paranoid. I slowly peel back the top 3 tags and find, ‘IRREGULAR’ written in large block letters. Unfortunately, I didn’t buy this item at an ‘irregular’/sale price. $ 340 on this order (never mind the thousands more tucked in my closet) and you really try to pull this crap?! WOW.
Please see photos for what I mean. Be careful if you shop this boutique. They said the sale was over and only ‘high quality goods’ were on the floor. Uh, clearly not. I’m returning it tomorrow, but needless to say, this is my last purchase. Had I paid sample sale prices and it was clearly marked, there would be no issue, but this is just bad business… that in effect, costs me even more money as I have an extra errand to make.
Given that it takes time away from my consulting clients, maybe I should bill you guys for my time? After all… time is money and this simple issue could have been avoided had the item been tagged HONESTLY & with transparency.
If Target can fit a sheet and deliver 450 thread count without irregularities, needless to say, I expect a hell of a lot more when I’m paying $ 130+ for a single fitted sheet. As much as I do love my bedding, this is the last straw in terms of bad business practices and shady pricing practices (see previous reviews.)
It was beautiful while it lasted, but it’s you… and I cite irreconcilable differences.

When I first bought the linens, I loved the way they felt. However, after less than a year I noticed a tear in the fitted sheet. Now it’s a full blown split and needs replacing. I also just noticed a new tear in the sheet as well.
It’s just myself in the bed and I keep my toenails manicured, so no troll feet are tearing at my sheets. So, I think it’s safe to say the craftsmanship is poor. I’m disappointed.
