Maya Standel Photography

I have been shooting with Maya since October 2013, couple times a month. She is always such a pleasure to work with;super professional, friendly and totally creative. My favorite shoots of hers are the editorial/​beauty shots. She has such an eye for every little detail and there is always such beauty behind each frame. Maya is a great person, an artist of multiple talents, and really easy to work with. She has a great eye, understands different kinds of industry needs, is super understanding of an artist’s individual tastes and style and is fun! I really appreciated her thoughtfulness in finding a location that worked with my branding and we had a blast shooting there. Looking forward to more.

Maya works really hard to give you quality photos. This photographer is very organized and makes sure to have a complete team for big shoots. I think Maya’s work is going places and I would def recommend her if you are looking for photos that are different from the everyday headshot. The person behind the camera as well as the outcome photos are very important, and in this case, Maya stands out on both. I would work with her again!

I am an actress/​model so when I needed new headshots/​portfolio update that were capable of being versatile I knew I was up for a challange. I came across Maya Standel and noticed immediately her usage of natural light. I have shot with dozens of photographers over the years and Maya is one talented artists who also has a fantastic personality! She is incredibly generous with her prices and is most likely the sweetest photographer you will ever work with. She takes her craft seriously and it radiates through the pictures. I have worked with Maya three times now and will continuely be a repeating customer. The headshots she has taken of me have opened many doors for me and that at the end of the day is all you truely want out of a headshot or your pictures! She brings so much energy and passion to the shoot you almost forget your «working.» Maya is worth every penny :)

MAYA IS GREAT. EASY TO WORK WITH. AND REASONABLY PRICED.
Honestly, she has taken some of my favorite Editorial/​Fashion shots EVER. She does great outdoor shots. (I have not shot with her indoors yet). She is down to earth, makes you comfortable, AND she is a great stylist to boot. She helped with all the jewelry and accessories for my shoot!
Some photographers do great work but are hard to work with. Not the case with Maya. Love, love, love this girl. And I’m a tough critic. I would recommend her to any friend or stranger.

Beautiful eye and artistic shots that you just don’t see everywhere. Also nice that the photographer is soooo sweet, some photographers act like bigger Divas than the bride, model, actor… Maya is wonderful and and a joy to interact with :)
