It’s okay. It’s surprisingly very modernized. It’s always pretty full and slow. They’ve only mistaken my order once but they gave me extra sandwiches which I didn’t pay for so its fine.

It’s McDonald’s. Not much different than the others. I did my civil duty of jury duty. Came here for a reboot of energy with a cup of coffee. The layout is spacious and they gave modern furniture. The one thing that caught my attention is their order and pay without the line touchscreen. There are a total of four. They’re way to use and accept credit /debit card.

This is probably the worst McDonald’s experience in Los Angeles. It’s a newly renovated location, but the employees don’t bother to clean as the place is completely filthy. Also, every other McDonald’s I’ve been to in LA now has table service, but apparently this restaurant didn’t get the memo?

Have been coming to this McDonalds since Spring of 2013 since attended the nearby college LATTC. Not so frequent the years after. This location by far has its unique attribute. You can build a burger by way of a touchscreen interface. The menu has had different items. One of which formerly the cheddar & Onion Burger which I used to order. Just a cheeseburger with grilled onion and white cheddar as opposed to the standard cheeseburger. So far of the many McDonald’s this one, I don’t like having had the most bad experiences. Primary just due to other patrons. I have been accosted(touched with no consent by the head by the shoulder, tugged from the shirt many times here. Mostly due to not handing money ranging from $ 5-$ 20, they crazy if I don’t give. I still don’t. One in every five visits mostly 2013 I guesstimate. No wonder this place had a security guard. Just visited again December 2015. Peaceful so far. Ordered the Pico Guacomole Burger with artisan roll and beef patty. Surprised that this McDonald’s added a lemon underneath the burger wrapper. That is unique.

This place was absolutely filthy. It’s 8:30 pm. Hardly anyone in here so it’s not because it’s busy. The soda area has crap all over it. Just filthy. All tea containers are empty. The floors have all kinds of bags and wrappers and straws and just junk all over the place. It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned all day. Employees behind the counter doing nothing. Lazy. I hope the owner reads this. The funniest thing is right on the door it say call this number for compliments or complaints. Wow. I don’t even want to sit or eat anything to be honest.

This McDonald’s was pretty modern for being in a bad area. I was amazed that the McDonald’s in LA looks nicer then the ones in OC. That makes no sense. I walk in and it didn’t even look like a McDonald’s. The tables and chairs were very modern looking and they had self service order machines everywhere. They even had a security guard which was a little odd but then again we are in LA. I decide on what i wanted. i think i ordered a number 5 combo — large size. My order gets called out i walk up and i say excuse me and none of the Hispanic workers turn around. Then i say excuse me a little bit louder because maybe they didn’t hear me. This Hispanic gal turns around and i explain I order a number 5 large size and you guys gave me a regular fry. I show her the receipt and she says in broken English if you want large fry you have pay .50 cents more. I said to her i already paid and this order is wrong and she just looked at me with this blank stare and said you want large you have to pay. I got pissed and just took my food because these McDonald workers are all a bunch of illegals and don’t understand English. If i were Mexican i am sure she would have fixed this issue. I swear I have the worst luck with fast food restaurants. I would give zero stars if i could. Worst Customer Service ever. I know it’s only .50 cents but it’s not the money it’s the fact the order was wrong and she wanted me to pay more. I hate dumb people.

Wow. Blew the mind of every customer around. I just saw a recent review said they re-did this place… which helps reconcile in my mind how the total reviews could be so low. EVERYTHING is new, clean, open, fantastic. Self-serve touch screens allow you to order, customize and pay(with credit) without waiting in line. BIG, open bathrooms, auto water and dryers so there’s not a ton of paper around. A PlayPlace so the kids can have fun, and, at least on my visit, no screaming kids or shady people. Very family friendly and a surprisingly pleasant experience! Also… free wifi. I can sit on my laptop in the dining area writing this review while I watch my kids play in the playplace through the window. #winning.

Insane… This place was re-done during spring 2015… Everything is new now and no longer has as many crackheads hanging around which is nice for the extent of the area. I have hopes for the place because with the area becoming better, hopefully the re-done fast food spots can help draw a better crowd and possibly rid that of the grossness… But considering everything is new you would think things would be easier for the employees with servicing customers and handling food well, but do not let this fool you. The quality of the McDonald’s food has dropped even further here… And the employees being hired to run this place literally seems like the crackheads that used to loiter and hang around this spot… I so badly wished this place could be the convenient place to drop by and quickly eat at for the sake of saving time and money but I’d rather do anything besides waste any time or money at this spot… All of the employees are seriously incompetent, it takes so long to order the most simple menu items and most of the time they don’t even understand what you’re ordering… It’s absolutely ridiculous… Please go here and try it out!!! I’m so upset I wasted my time at this place and I’m seriously pissed that the employees made their 10 dollars during the hour of my wasted time… I know this is dumb and not a great review exactly, but I’ve given this place so many tries to fix everything… The owner of this place should literally try out his own spot… Give it a go then change up some ways things are done… See maybe who will be the person to speak at the microphones? Who hands off the receipt and food to the customers, count how long it takes for each item? Its almost like the people who work their are just winging it on how to operate a McDonald’s but are also people who do not care at all about their jobs and will not progress for anything in life… I know this is mean, but seriously, everything can always change… Nothing is set in stone… I’m sure the retention rate is high with employees but find the good ones and keep them, give them more responsibility… I’ll change this review up sometime eventually if things change with this place, and I know things are new, taking some time to get used to, but this spot sincerely is ruining the name for the establishment that people count on… Straight up McD’s for life. Place is getting better

Find yourself a different location. If I can give them a negative star I would. Ordered my food and it took me more than 30 mins long. Actually I’m writing this because I’ve still yet to receive my food and I have nothing else to do. One of the employee comes and I told her her I still haven’t received my order. She said it takes about 10 mins… But it has already been 20. Then a few minutes later a manager comes down and asks me what I ordered while she was holding my check. She then checks our table to see if we have revived our order.(I mean really… I wouldn’t lie about not getting my order) so she just left and I have no idea what’s going on now. She wasn’t even apologetic or concerned about the situation. You would think they would have better service when there is an abundant of employees just sitting on the side eating their food while I still wait for mine. I honestly see about 6 employees just sitting down on the side eating their food. To sum things all up I am finishing this review and I still haven’t received anything. Recommendation… Drive a few more blocks and find yourself a different location.

One star for big parking lot & one star for the electronic order booth. Chocolate chunks in the chocolate chip frappé were huge. Clearly they were way too busy on other things than to blend it nice. It was hard big chunks. No way you’d enjoy that. I had it before from a different location & loved it. Didn’t have any interaction with any workers there, so no idea about it the bad customer service people are talking about

We were here Wednesday; expected the service to be as nice as the McDonald’s looks. Boy was I WRONG! I ordered the new Artisan Burger, my husband ordered the new burger with mushrooms, and we got a happy meal for our child. The cashier was pretty friendly, I asked for no mayo on my burger and she even repeated«no mayo on your burger right?» I said«yes please, no mayo.» The cashier and no one ever told us that the new Artisan Burger takes 10 minutes to make! Well about ten minutes pass by and I went to ask the a manager, in a very nice way that we had ordered ten minutes ago and we were still waiting on our order. She replies In a rude tone with«yeah, you ordered ten minutes ago, but your burger takes ten minutes to make!» I said okay and left back to our table. I told my husband that if my burger takes ten minutes and his takes less time along with the happy meal, I was pretty sure their food was going to come back cold. FINALLY about 5 minutes later(15 minute total wait) our food was here. I open my burger to check if it had no mayo and guess what! It had MAYO! By this time I was DONE with the whole experience. I took my burger back and told another manager(a man) that I had asked for no mayo on my burger, he apologized and said he would get me another one asap. I told him that if it took another 10 minutes that I would get another one it didn’t matter I just didn’t want to wait. He said he would have it for me asap. I go back to our table and my husband looks upset, his burger was cold, our fries were cold and soggy, my child’s happy meal was missing fries and apples. I just asked for a refund. The male manager tried very hard to make it better but the whole experience was just horrible I didn’t want to eat there anymore. So we left. I called corporate(800−224−6227, if you guys ever need it) the next day and told them about all of the above. On Friday evening I receive a call from Roxanne, the owner or supervisor of their McDonald’s saying that why had I called corporate when I could’ve called her directly(I am a former employee from 2010). I told her that I didn’t have her phone number and I decided to instead call corporate. She said that as a former employee I should understand, in other words ‘cut them some slack’ I said told her that as a paying customer I expect to be treated as such and not a «former employee». Roxanne was also very mean and rude and that’s exactly how I remember her. She said maybe it was some kind of grudge I held against them? I honestly don’t, if I would, I wouldn’t take my money to any of their McDs. She said that because this wasn’t the first time I call corporate about their very bad service, she also told me she asked corporate to «not take my complaints serious»! This was the worst experience ever! I am contemplating calling the Better business bureau? I would say to avoid coming here and paying for all of this. Don’t go with the way it looks on the outside because on the inside it has all the same employees and to make a business you need better employees first!

Okay, I fell for the advertisement that a NEW McDonald’s was here and that it is only one of 18 in the world to provide a «Create Your Taste» experience. The only difference is that customers have pagers to let them know their meal is ready and a server brings it to them; there is something Pavlovian about this. One of the positive things is that it provides jobs for a lot of the young people in the area and that I liked. It put a smile on my face to see all new employees learning a system of food delivery different from the old model. Admittedly, there were bugs to work out and it took longer to get the food out than normal, but I don’t think they had a soft opening. it was a sink or swim experience. Something interesting is that there is a pay parking lot behind the McDonald’s, but at first I thought it was valet parking; my expectations were high in the beginning and quickly faded…

Very cool to see the redone McDonalds. I was concerned that they were taking it away because is a nice fast and easy place for me to grab breakfast on a budget. But instead they have replaced it with a brand new McDonalds.

The location is rated at 2 stars but honestly… there’s not much you can do to mess up McDonald’s food. The taste of a regular McDonald’s hamburger takes me right back to childhood. The fries are standalone. Mickey D’s is the pinnacle of American, chain franchise fast food. The drive-thru line seemed a little long at first but it wasn’t bad enough to keep me away from that familiar taste that I’ve known my whole life and was craving. My wife and I pulled up to the menu/speaker & placed our order. The employee taking the order was polite, attentive, took our entire order correctly the first time & read it back to us. We paid at the first window… Scooted up to the second window & got our food about 2 – 3 minutes after that. Everything we had ordered was accounted for. We asked for a few condiments before we pulled away which they gladly provided. Then my Wife took a sip of what was supposed to be sweet tea. To her surprise, it tasted like ice water with a splash of sweet tea. lol! We quickly pulled into a parking space & ran in to exchange the drink.(The sweet tea in the dispenser was wack that day.) So, we grabbed a Hi-C orange drink and were on our way. The food was great. I ordered a #1. The Big Mac and fries(which Wifey shared w/me) were hot and fresh. No complaints on the food at all. After all… It’s McDonald’s. It tastes the same here as it tastes in Japan. lol

The worst McDonalds I’ve ever been too. Cashier doesn’t give correct change back, has people waiting and kept closing her register then apologizes. The supervisor or manager doesn’t call the full number out so people would know their food is ready. Like really, «Order number 25-,» can you finish the complete number. Had me waiting an extra 10 minutes. Then another cashier, who was on break, was hanging out with a bunch of gang bangers acting a fool. Like your in uniform. Worst experience ever!!!

Horrible service. I asked for a side of tarter sauce and they said the can’t do that. They said its against the law and the health department doesn’t allow that. What a lame excuse. I’ve been eating mcdonalds since I was 6 and I’m 29 years old now. My son loves dipping his French-fries into tarter sauce and now I had to tell him you can’t have your favorite sauce. I’ve never heard such rules from any McDonald’s I’ve ate at in California, Nevada nor up north. Even Miami Florida McDonald’s. Downtown LA McDonals Sucks!!! Never come here again. Bet the employees who love tarter sauce will have some if they wanted to. Thumbs down

All I can say is props to the cashiers, they really know how to treat negative people, do not come during rush hour we all know it gets packed! Its not their fault everyone wants everything fast cuz you only got 30 mins to eat, might as well bring your own lunch! You get what ypu pay for, their customer service is nice, keep in mind it is McDonalds not a fancy place. They do what they can theres soo many customers and a few of them. :)

Love this McDonalds! They have a HUGE parking lot for customers and they let the Meetup Group, dbnoLA( ), use their parking lot to park their cars at before heading to Skid Row to feed the homeless. Free/safe parking is hard to come by in DTLA so we’re so grateful that we can leave our cars in their secure and well-lit parking lot every Thursday night without getting towed. Aside from that, it’s a McDonalds. I go in once in awhile to buy some crack french fries and delicious Oreo McFlurries. Doesn’t matter what location I go to, I can always count on their french fries and McFlurries to taste consistent.
